Dr. Sheetalan is really one in a million dentist that you can rely upon for all your dental issues. I went to him for getting a second opinion for one of my dental issues as the clinic which I went previously were all explaining to me from the business perspective on the cost which was sky-rocketing which seemed diabolical..So I went to him and explained him the entire medical history and he listened to me carefully and started his diagnosis. Then he explained me the underlying issue which was totally different from the issue my previous Doctor was telling me.. Now I am undergoing my treatment to him and I can a vast improvement.. Since this dental clinic empanelled in CGHS and situated in Avadi, I opted this clinic and visited on 08.08.2023 along with referral letter from my office as I am serving employee of Govt. of India and covered under CGHS. Very First, they refused to give treatment as the referral letter is not as per the CGHS format and I have not produced CGHS ID card. I told that this is the only format is being issued by my office regularly to avail similar treatment at CGHS empanelled renowned hospitals and we are getting proper treatment upon production of this document, factory ID card and aadhaar card. However, they haven't accepted. Since I suffered due to tooth pain, I asked them to start the treatment for which I am ready to pay the bill amount. They smiled and replied "do you think that we will start the treatment immediately?...no....first we will assess your tooth condition and treatment required etc. and based on the assessment, we will give you an estimate and you need to get an approval of it from your office and on approval only, we will start the treatment. This is the procedure we are following". I explained that this procedure may suit for the indoor treatment, but I am came here as an outpatient and suffering a lot due to tooth ache. I am ready to pay the fee. However, they were still in a confused state and not started any treatment. One side my tooth ache, another side this type of conversation. I lost my patience and came out from the clinic. This was the worst experience I came across with this clinic and frustrated upon the way the clinic behaved and not experienced a similar behaviour anywhere. If the clinic is not willing to treat CGHS beneficiaries, then why they have empanelled under CGHS?....I don't know. Pathetic.....and I will never step in this clinic again....worst experience. Men may come and men may go..... but moral should be guarded. (After that, Nearby this clinic, I consulted another dentist without any referral letter and all. The doctor immediately attended me, done the necessary treatment at a meager fee and an hour past, I felt relaxed from the tooth ache and returned home. Very talented, skillful and experienced doctor I ever met....if anyone wants the contact....ping me please)

I had lot of fear to visit dentist but took time to understand the treatments .. DR SHEETHALAN best Doctor Rare Doctor to find just follow even if you feel strict he does his job perfectly taking time ..It was tough initially now am getting better by treatment hoping soon I'll be perfectly alright with my teeth..

One of the best dental clinic in Avadi. Went for replacing my existing crown as the support of the crown came out.. Post and core buildup treatment was done perfectly in that area and crown was placed on top of that. Initially it was not that comfort and later I understood after doctors advice that it would feel comfortable after 2 days as there was a gap without tooth for few weeks..Now i feel very comfortable and happy for the treatment done. Just one drawback is that the bills that they give doesn’t have the clinic name printed and doctors name printed. Also the bill number is not pre printed.. Now a days most of the insurance companies are processing the bills only if they have these. Request you to please change it. I went to Ambuja Dental Clinic with toothache. Dr Sheethalan had explained me clearly the entire procedure that should be done. The treatment went on for almost 3 weeks and it is very effective. I would recommend it to everyone.

This was my first dental experience. Initially I was scared but post my brother's experience in Ambuja dental, I got the assurance of visiting the clinic. The doctor is really understanding and friendly and the treatment is great. It was a really great experience and the friendly nature of all the doctors during my procedures gave me a sense of relief. Even during the procedures the doctors were very gentle and were speaking to me which made the treatment go easy on me.
