My son and I spent 45 minutes here on our way out of town. As a museum, it disappoints. As a park, castle, and viewing area for the city it is really amazing. Consider it a beautiful and unique park and plan to spend a bit of time sitting and just enjoying the views and the beauty. We thought we would spend 10 minutes there and be on our way but we quite enjoyed our time. Our visit had no cost.

The castle itself was closed therefore we were able to only walk around the caste. The territory is nice and well taken care of. The views are nice but without entry to the castle (by the way, the castle is small) it was just a nice small park for a walk. Wouldn’t say it’s a must see, rather nice to see if you have spare time.

Free. Nice walk from the town center, about half mile. Sidewalks uneven and you have to pass the cruise ship port with all the tourists. Many steps pose issues for the mobility challenged. Bathroom at gelateria at base for TL 5. Views of the sea and coast were beautiful. The grounds and trees were poorly maintained and dry but nice to have a place to sit and rest. Lots of well-behaved teenage kids and sleeping difs.

The main castle building was closed, not sure of the opening times or entrance fees (if applicable). It's free to enter the main gates and explore the grounds around the main castle building. Beautiful castle with magnificent views.

Lovely place. Been here twice before and not visited. It's free so have a walk around and learn about it. There is even a whale skeleton inside. Well worth the visit.

Interesting point of interest, mainly to hop on a boat trip for the day. However, boat tours aren't so interesting, as they stop at several beaches that are all similar, and don't provide any entertainment equipment such as snorkeling, SUP or kayak. Also food onboard isn't great.

Kusadasi Castle is the iconic landmark of the Kusadasi, situated in the Pigeon Island adjacent to the city center of the Kusadasi, Aydin Province. It is also known as the “Pirate castle” because of its presence on the coast to prevent the attacks from the sea. The castle belongs to the Ottoman era and presents the best mixture of culture and nature at the same time. Kusadasi castle is adjacent to different swimming beaches and surrounded by the awe-inspiring, romantic and spectacular panoramic views. The castle includes a small museum, restaurant with disco for the entertainment of couples and other visitors. you can spend 1-2 hours to look all around this castle and surrounding beaches. dont forget to have fish and chips in one of the nearby restaurants.

The tiny Güvercin Adasi (Pigeon Island) is connected to the mainland in the town center with a causeway. Its romantic setting includes a well-maintained flower garden which surrounds the restored 14th-15th century fortress housing a cafeteria. If you come to Kuşadasi, you definitely should see this historical castle.

I went here as I was having a walk around the town. It's a must visit place in Kusadasi as it is free! Also very nice to walk around and some fantastic viewpoints of kusadasi. There's abit of information to read up about the castle, plants and animals around the area.

I went on a Thursday about 6 pm but it was already closed, but I could peek in to see some displays inside. The area around the castle is a lovely place to walk around, with gardens and signboards about various flowers and trees. It is very windy and cold up there though!

A nice half a morning stroll around the recently renovated Kuşadasi Castle (Pigeon Island) freely. Quite a relaxing walk around. Kids might find it a bit boring. Small cafe at the entrance with WC (5Lr)

Kusadasi castle We came here in the morning. So only few tourists were there. There is no entree fee. Any one can roam around here. Not so many things are there to see,but for one hour it's nice. Any one can take good pictures of the island as well as the sea & harbor outside. There was a hotel here now abandoned.Over all it's a must see place in the city of Kusadasi.

Not a grand castle but more of a fort which seems to be locked all of the time. Fantastic views of the bay and its free with a nice garden around it. Well worth a visit if your there but probably not worth travelling a long distance to see

I visited in winter. Stunning area with information in Turkish and English. Lots to look around and the scenery is spectacular right on the coast. Worth a visit. I visited in January so must look even more beautiful in the Summer. Car park opposite (need to pay but very reasonable and convenient or you will have quite a walk)

I don't know the story about Kuşadası castle. I can say that I wish I could live this castle as a princess. I really liked the aura of the castle in the evening. I think the castle which is a gothic far from the noise of the Kuşadası but noisy with the sound of waves in the evening

We stayed here for about 1 hour, the castle has free entry and great place to take beautiful pictures. There are also boat tours that leave from near the footbridge of the castle – super cheap and a lovely ride around kusadasi coast.

A nice walk around an area we like, quiet and interesting. May have been better if main building had been open as this usually has displays on show.
