This museum has moved - I understand the previous site is close to the main bazaar in Izmir and is still open but that this complex only opened about the second week of May, 2023. I presume because the museum is new some of the explanations of the exhibits are not yet in place, and some of the items are not marked; however, we easily spent three hours in the complex, and serious archeological buffs could I presume spend considerably longer.
