👍👍 Great modern museum. If you walk along the promenade, be sure to take a look for 10-15 minutes. Nearby are scattered pumps, engines are electric supports and of course the engine in the form of museum exhibits. There is no need to go specifically, there are places in Baku much more interesting !!!... People often mention museum, building,

Рядом разбросаны насосы,двигатели стоят электроопоры и конечно паровоз ввиде музейных экспонатов. Специально ехать не стоит,в Баку есть места гораздо интереснее!!!

Small museum on two floors, stairs only, water closet is available upon request. Not really recommended unless you're really interested in this subject.

One of the most beautiful historical buildings I have seen in the city is the Stone Chronicle Museum. This historic building was built in 1921. It is located in the building of the power station, which was once intended for energy supply of oil fields. But later it was completely restored. After the restoration works, it functions as a Stone Chronicle Museum. The opening of the museum took place on June 8, 2015. In this museum, you can see exhibits from different places with ancient history. Rashad Bey, the security guard of the museum, is a very good conversationalist. I want to thank him for that.

Stone Chronicle Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of stone sculpture of Azerbaijan. The museum is located in the building of the power station, which was built in 1921 and was intended for the energy supply of oil fields. In 2015, the building was completely restored. Many types of stone sculpture are exhibited in the museum. The Stone Chronicle Museum, located in the State Flag Square, was established by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The most archaic features of spiritual life in Azerbaijan have been preserved precisely in the traditions of stone sculpture.

A more than decent 2 floor museum. Entry is free. There's a guide in case you need some information. Although, every item has its own history and background written with it. Second floor is a must visit for surprise history.

(Translated by Google) A modest museum that contains pre-Christian artifacts, as well as your models of modern art, and highlights the impact of the ancient Islamic civilization in the ancient stones and columns. Entry to it is free through the Corniche corridor after the mall, but by car, you pay 2 manat at the parking gate. There is also an old train outside the museum (Original)

Impressive building, the museum is beautiful, but not many artifacts. Our visit was spoiled by the fact that the guard would not let us up to the second floor. We were the only visitors in the museum and he didn't want to go up the stairs with us. He said it was closed, even though it was obvious it was open and there was no sign of closing. ((
