Beautiful place with quite challenging hike trail.

Lake Garanohur is located on the territory of the Shahdag National Park. It represents a special value, therefore, is protected by the relevant government agencies. Recently, an increasing number of tourists come to this reservoir, including from other countries. The nearest settlement in relation to the lake is the settlement Talistan of the Ismaili district. Often, its inhabitants act as a conductor, because the path through the forest is long and sometimes difficult. There have even been cases when tourists who did not have a guide with them were looking for special services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Therefore, if you are here for the first time (and even if not so), then it is better to take with you one of the local residents. Fortunately, they take little money for their services.

Quite beautiful place. You can feel the beauty of the nature with different colours and scenes in each season. The route to the lake was hard to find and climb before. But now, there are lots of signs alongside of the way indicate the directions. And there is a small wooden hut nearby of the lake built by people of village.

A very beautiful lake that needs 5 km of hike. It took me 4.5 hours to reach the top (due to my weight). 2 hours for a 4.4 km leg and 2.5 hours for a 0.6 km leg (it is 45°-50° steep). The views from the lake were amazing. A very quiet and scenic place with vibrant colors. It appears different in each season. A highly recommended place. Even if you don't take water with you, there are plenty of water streams on the way. But you have to get some energy food with you with a high level of sugar.

Amazing place to visit in Autumn. Make sure you take gloves and wear a comfortable clothes to go up a hill ( 50° for 650-700 meters).

Everything is beatiful but the prices are higher

Suitable for driving to with 4x4 vehicle. Suitable for hiking Calm and coolth place for family and personal visit. Had small infrastructure for picnic
