It is located above the Thirumoorthi temple which is 900 meters from down hills by foot . Note : Plastic is strictly prohibited in falls. Shampoos and soaps are also not allowed in to the falls. Timing of this falls is 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. We have to buy an 5 RS entry ticket 🎟 from forest department in entrance. The forest department will not allow people on heavy raining or Flood time. We have to trek for 900 meters to waterfalls. Old age person can able to walk on it. There are lot of monkeys near the falls and if you carry any bags or food items then it may attack to get it. Water on this falls is cool and clean that we can take a peaceful shower. Best place to spend time with your friends and family members.

The falls was having a good flow of water. Though it was of less height the force of water is high. You have to walk some 750 meters to reach the falls from the temple area. Every adult has to pay five rupees as entry ticket. The walk to the falls was also interesting. There is a ladies changing room near the falls which is a good facility. Apart from enjoying directly in the falls you can spend some time in the water flow also which is great for kids. Always take care of the slippery places in the wet area

We visited in January when the water flow was really good. It’s a nice place for a day’s picnic. There’s a parking lot beyond which there’s a temple and stream. We have to cross the stream and walk in the forested area for a bit. There’s a minimal entry fees for that. The terrain isn’t difficult and within no time we’ll hear the gushing water. There’s a changing room near the falls as well as near the parking area. We can play close to the falls or in the pool downstream. It’s usually crowded on weekends and holidays.

Whenever we visit thirumoorthy waterfalls , there will be a good water flow and water will be chill. It was good place to relax . The surrounding were greenery panoramic. We can have peaceful waterfall shower only if we go by early morning like 7.30 to 8. Once it is crowded, we can't take shower peacefully.

They get 5rs as entry fee to falls. There is also Thirumoorthi temple near by. From there we must nearly walk 2 km to reach the falls. It is a small water fall and the water falls from a less height . Only during a high water flow we can have a shower in falls but now not much water flows . There is parking facility available. There are various shops to have a small snack break. Still the falls should be maintained clean and the people shouldn’t leave there shawl or the things they bring to the temple in the falls area.

Waterfalls make for a great view. For those who love to get into a flowing stream or stand under that rigorous force of water pouring down from a height, it is almost impossible to resist a visit to a nearby waterfall. Most hill stations or treks that you will be a part of will have waterfalls nearby. However, there are some that are so magnificent that they stand out from the rest

One of the best experience visiting with friends and family members. Be careful while crossing the one place to other place. It's slippery on the water sides . Not recommended for 60+ aged persons by my POV. MINI TRUCKING EXPERIENCE WITH OUR FRIENDS BEST PHOTO SPOT FOR COUPLES

This is my first time visit to this place and writing review based on my experience. This place is easily accessible from udumalpet. They are collecting Rs.5 as charges for entry. Need to walk around 1km in the forest hills. After a walk, we could see a water falls which gives pleasant feeling. During the walk, you could enjoy the side views such as flowing water, different views of hills and monkeys. The temple has the speciality that we could worship lord Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu in the same place. The temple is located inside the hill. To be cautious: Naughty monkeys. (You don't disturb them, they won't disturb you) Slippage near falls area No proper place to keep belonging and dress change room No good hotels To enjoy: Sound of nature View of hills Walking in the forest Dam view Ancient temple Recommendations: Bring your food and snacks Visit during weekdays to avoid crowd and wait time Keep your kids with you and don't let them run during the walk

We have visited the thirumoorthi falls on 8th April 2023. It is located nearby udumalapet The way to thirumoorthi falls is covered with coconut farm and it was so lovely.. The timing is from morning 8.30 to evening 4. Entry ticket per person is 10rs. 1 km trekking should be done to reach the falls Beautiful temple is located there. So many film shootings are made here.

Entrance cost:30, Nice place to spend with family and friends, the climb is a bit tough for elders and kids. plenty of monkeys to snatch ur things. pls take a guide - costs less than 100 bucks but worth it as he protects u from the monkeys. the flow in the water fall is very strong and we went after 5pm no one is there, we spend almost one hour. seperate ladies changing room available. the temple is of trimurti and and outstanding experience.. Dam view is very refreshing and calm.. even through it was late and they allowed to falls upon request... Thanks to them giving wonderful experience.. Thanks TN Govt...

I went to the tirumoorthi falls. It is a beautiful nature's gift. Very nice place. However authorities should cover the pathway with mesh as people are trespassing and using the surrounding areas for nature call. This is making the entire place stink and one cannot enjoy natural air.

*One of the best place to enjoy after kutralam *18kms from Udumalpet *Also called as Panchalinga aruvi *Situated nearby Amalingeshwarar temple (mummoorthy kovil) *U have to walk almost one km from the temple/parking area *Lot of monkeys are there, u should keep ur things safe *Once u take bath in the falls, u will feel refreshed and forget all the travel tired *Bus transportation also there, but not frequently

Best waterfall. 1km walk from parking area. Aged people also can climb slowly. Visit early to avoid crowds. Least entry fee. Be aware of monkey activities. I would like to visit again and again.

We can bathe at the foothills at all times. But the path to the panja linga falls is opened only after 8.30 AM only after approval from the forest officers. Entry is Rs. 5 per head. Walking distance is almost a kilometre. The water fall is forceful. Fortunately we were first among the few and had a very good bath before the crowd came in. The water was very cold at the foothills though the waterfall was bearable at the top.

It’s one of the best place to enjoy in Udumalpet. It’s located around 20km from Udumalpet bus stand. Usually this place get crowded very fast. I would recommend reach early so you get a parking for your car and you can reach the top very early. Weekends it get madly crowded which kills the enjoyment. So I would recommend visit on weekdays if possible. Overall this is a must visit place if you are a lover of nature and want to embed yourself in a nature.

It's a small waterfall, the water was quite cold and sweet especially after a hot day but it's not as easy as it sounds. It's an hour and half drive from Coimbatore You have to pay Rs. 50 per car to enter only to find that there'll be absolutely no space to park cars, so you have to park a kilometre away from the temple and walk up. Most of the space near the temple will be occupied by vans and bus, very little effort by the authorities to manage the traffic there. Once done pay Another Rs. 5 per heas to trek up to the falls, the path is quite narrow and goes up to say a kilometre. Once done you reach the falls, we visited on a weekday but still it was quite crowded, the rocks were slippery (witnessed at least half a dozen grown men fall). The area was quite dirty, full of plastic and used diapers, we found no changing rooms no toilets around. We walked back with wet clothes still on. The stagnant water below the falls was quite dirty, wouldn't recommend anyone to get into those if they find the falls crowded. The way up the falls are quite serene and beautiful, a lot of coconut plantations and small streams with the mountain as a background. In fact we enjoyed the trip to the falls rather than the falls itself.

Nice location to enjoy with family during weekend. Last bus to reach thirumoorthy dam is on 8.30pm. For every 20 min, Bus frequency from udumalapet to thirumoorthy dam. From the temple, you can reach the falls by only walk. They charge 5 rupees per head. Water taste is wonderful. Good thing is, separate dress change area for women. Shops are close to the temple. But you can't get anything in the middle of the falls. Watch steps, the surface close to the falls is slippery. Take care of your belongings. Don't keep snacks visible. Monkeys will take it. No where you can see lord Brhama, Siva and Vishnu in the same place. Must visit with family.

A small trek of 800m will be leading to this beautiful falls. Quite filled with people most of the times, but the bath will be a very striking massage to all your muscles. You will feel more relaxing. Monsoon is the best time to visit the falls. At the entry you can check the capacity of Thirumoorthy Dam reservoir, that will give you a rough idea on water flow. There is a decent changing room available for Ladies near the falls. The Forest Officials will close the entry around 4.30 PM.

Fantastic water falls.. Less number of people are coming.. You can enjoy the place very well for a long time.. From Udumalai, buses are running to this falls.. 5 Rupees entrance fees per person.. Falls timing is 8 am to 5 pm.. We should walk 1.2 Km in a path to find the falls.. But people are using soaps and Shampoos during bathing.. Plz don't use it.. We enjoyed well in this falls..

Small beautiful waterfalls is 1km away from thirumoorthy temple.. Water has more medicinal ingredients good for health.. By walk only we can reach thirumoorthy waterfalls from thirumoorthy temple. If the government take action to maintain the path to waterfalls from thirumoorthy temple as well as construct the waterfalls area to take bath safely, more and more people will come and enjoy this wonderful environment.

Great place, but you have to trek upwards for 1 km from the temple at the base. The water is really cool and refreshing, the falls were a great pleace to unwind work stress. Another word of caution is there are many monkeys in the area so be careful of what you carry with you. There are no proper dressing areas, but there is a closed room for the ladies to change with no separate stalls.
