What a art? Beautifully carved out Stone house on a big boulder. This is a huge Stone house atop a huge boulder in Riverside water. This place needs more attention from the local Administration keeping the importance of this unique sculpture. It's a major tourist attraction of Maibang town. No proper parking for four vehicles. You have to cross the river Mahur as it is on the other side of the river.

A beautiful 16th century monolithic stone house on a big boulder located in Maibang, Assam’s Dima Hasao district. Also known as Ranachandi Temple. Around 290 kms from Guwahati. Maibang was once the capital of Dimasa Kingdom. A recently built beautiful park around it with a lake is a good place for picnics and cultural events.

Historic place. The house, cut out of a solid rock has been a unique attraction to all. Original homeland of Kachari people
