I never had such an unpleasant exprerience at a restaurant. I organized a celebration for 30 people with dinner at this place and was totally disrespected by the manager and the staff. Only one waiter was treating me and my guests properly. Food was ok, but it was too much since the restaurant only wanted to charge as much as possible. We had previous arrangments about the music, the restaurant manager cheated and my guests were left without music at 22h. I was under the impression that everybody wanted us to leave as soon as possible. We had a relatively good time only beacuse of my friends and guests, but restaurant manager did nothing to provide what was previously arranged (we had detailed meeting before the event). One waiter even told me that they were tired and have families and wanted to go home at 23 h (the celebration started at 20h)?!? At the end I wanted a nice party and I was willing to pay for it, but actually payed high price for being disrespected. Therefore, I would never reccomend this restaurant to anyone. And I personally would never go there again.

Great ambience of mellow Piano Sounds! We enjoy this mellow sounds for about 40 minutes without the waiter even saying hello or even getting us a glass of water this was so disappointing. So sorry I can't comment on the food quality when the service has failed. The only person that was very professional was the hostess, she did great us and seat us. She also did notice after some 20 minutes that we haven't got any service so she did go and told the waiter to serve us. So in next 20 minutes more guests come in and the waiter still bypasses our table, that's when we decide it's time to leave the place. At the door, we did ask who is the manager and he was pointed out so we did approach him and told him what happen. At that point was too late for him to do anything for us other than manage his people so some other guests don't go through the same type of service. Novi Sad is a great city with a great gastronomy. So many places to eat with no margin for errors. Sorry for a long comment I hope it helps.

Since they renovated it it's a completely different story. Everything is clean, the terrace next to the Danube river is wonderful. The food was amazing, I would recommend their boneless fish stew and their trout cooked on the grill. The service was also great, the waiters were very friendly. We'll definitely come back here :)

Really a lovely place, my sister did her engagement there and the service was amazing, we were able to reserve a place for us alone. The manager was really open minded and really friendly as other places refuses us reserving the eniter place as they wanted to earn from other customers in the same time. The waiters really friendly and polit. I recommend this place if you are planning to hold a party.

We had a very good time here. Goran, the waiter, was very friendly and helpful and he speaks fluent English. We had a fish plateau at Goran's recommendation which was absolutely delicious. We truly recommend this location. 😎🥳

The food, the wine, the view, the service and the atmosphere at Bata Pežo was so impressive I had to shout them out! Located in NoviSad... I would definitely recommend making a day or weekend trip from Belgrade to Novi Sad to check them out

We were on a weddjng celebration; I would give it a 1 star but because of beauty of Danube river, and restaurant's position it gets only 2 stars for interior and exterior design. Very small place for bigger celebrations; not enough place for dancing. No air conditioning, very unpleasant air inside. On the balcony was perfect climate. Slow service, very unorganized. Served cold meat, low quality. Potatoes very spicy, kids didn't want to eat it, so did the grown ups. Salad lousy, with no taste, low quantities on a plate. Avoid this for your wedding.

A well organized place on a great spot by the river. We've visited it many times and I don't think there is anyone who wouldn't be satisfied with anything on the menu.

One of my favorites. Has Danube, and I mean "Has Danube"! Go and check. Best time to visit: late soring and early fall.

Really beautiful place to eat, food was delicious, and service,was excellent. This evening we started with soup. Our main was fish calamari and salad. The desserts were magnifique.

Nice view on Danube river…

The restaurant is by the river with the nice view from the outdoor seating places. The indoor part is clean and cozy. I wasn't in a hurry to order, but even then, it took around 20 minutes for a waiter to take the orders. The waiter was a funny guy, assuming, suggesting, balancing on the edge of good taste. The food was tasty and the choice completely his. Portion was too big for one person, so the two of us shared. All in all, I recommend this place.

Lovely quiet restraunt with river view. Food was good and very well prepared. Some really nice local cats joined us too 😀
