One of the finest delicacies are served here. This is a superb store where you can find different sort of desserts and quick eats. They have many outlets in Istanbul. The staff here is very cooperative and well behaved. I am impressed by the taste and quality of their products.

This is by far one of the worst food experiences we've had in Istanbul. Our order took around 50 minutes to be prepared and we were informed about items that are not available half-way through our wait and we had to change our order (those items were the reason we visited in the first place). The pizza was just okay. The pasta portion was too small, 7-8 pieces of ravioli. The fried kofte could've literally been used as rocks, we couldn't eat them, and our teeth were going to break. On top of all that, and since they assumed we are tourists, our bill came with the missing items listed. Luckily, we noticed and asked them to change the bill. The whole experience deserves a 0 star, but a 1 is fair because we had a good view of the Sultanahmet mosque, and the waiter was nice.

Mado is popular for its breaking options and the excellent sweets. This location has a great view on sultan Ahmad popular historical spots. In summer prepare yourself to eat on heat. The breakfast is delicious the eggs were cooked perfectly. And you must try there honey and qaimar. The tea comes free with the order. Recommended

There are several Mado in Istanbul. This one has several floors and the view is nice. The waiter on our floor was also nice. The sweets are okay, but on the pricey side.

We've been to Mado twice in two days. Once for dinner and the second time for brunch. I have to say that they have been consistently good experiences. Food has been great; tasty, perfect temperature. Staff have been welcoming and kind. Prices have been fair. A lot of respect for Mado as other small places have hiked their prices up to take advantage of the boom in tourism whereas Mado has been fairly priced. I likely will visit again as like I said food and drinks have been amazing. There's also some great views from the different floors. You can choose which floor you want to sit on.

Located just right near Hagia Sophia. Small cozy cafe where you can find anything: from pasta to Turkish traditional food. Overall not bad. However, non of the waiters speak English (considering the fact that cafe is located in very touristic place). Menu is also only in Turkish. So be ready to use google translate

The place is great , food is amazing. The staff was great and very thoughtful. Prices were okay. The only con is the menu for desserts and pastries is in Turkish only , hence -1 star, but you have lots of pictures. The view is also good if you go to 2nd or 3rd floor. But roof terrace was closed when we dined.

I love going to this chain every time i am in Istanbul. They have a great menu with large variety of savory and especially sweet options that look and taste amazing. Unfortunately i will have to rate this place a little lower because the waiter on the 2nd floor that was looking after us was loud, rude and making bad impression to every customer on the floor. He sent us the deserts first, which resulted in having baklava with melted ice cream on top and missed some essential cutlery. Strongly recommend the chain but maybe avoid this specific place or the second floor :)

Good selection of quality ice cream. 100 lira for one top (scoop), 200 for two top, etc. Desserts, salads, entrees galore. My son loved his chicken Alfredo and we always save room for dessert. I had a vegetarian red lentil soup and salad with ancient grains which was fresh and delicious. Most locations have multiple seating levels. On our most recent visit we chose the level with a/c.

Very good location and service is excellent. Delicious desserts . An update after 5 month from the first review, the quality is way decent , toilets are dirty, food is not good as before , This plate had to be chicken mushroom fettuccine but doesn't have mushrooms and the chicken pieces are really few .🤷‍♀️ Although the person who served our table, he was very kind and welcoming 🙏🏻 😊.

I recently tried Mado's soguk baklava, and while it wasn't terrible, it also wasn't anything special. The presentation of the dessert was nice, with a generous portion size and a dusting of powdered sugar on top. However, upon tasting it, I found the texture to be a bit off. The baklava was soggy and lacked the flaky, crispy texture that I typically look for in a good baklava. The filling was also quite disappointing, as it lacked the nutty flavor that I associate with a good baklava. The filling was sweet, but lacked the depth of flavor that I was expecting. Additionally, the syrup that was drizzled on top was overly sweet and overpowering. The service at Mado was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. However, the soggy texture and lackluster flavor of the soguk baklava left much to be desired. Overall, I wouldn't necessarily recommend Mado's soguk baklava. While it wasn't terrible, there are better options for baklava in Istanbul that offer a more authentic and satisfying dessert experience.

Like walking into Aladdin's cave for desserts; a huge range of tea and coffee options, staff are accommodating and each plate is of a high standard - a truly indulgent treat! Would highly recommend dropping by here with friends for an enjoyable experience.

One of the best Turkish Cafe/Restaurant in Istanbul. Very well placed, 2 min away from Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque. Food is great. Price to value is probably unbeatable. If you can get yourself next to the view tables you will really enjoy yourself. Only negative point is the unfriendly staff. They don’t really care about customers and forgot one of the items in our order. Other than this, I would totally recommend it for the taste !

They don’t let you taste the icecream before you buy. I decided to buy one scoop of chest nut turkish icecream. It was too sweet for my taste. The scoop was incredibly small.

Restaurant have nice view but the Food was very normal like other restaurants and the service was so bad because the Garson he don’t understand English well and he didn’t care about what we order we repeated the order many times because he was playing with his phone all time and there was not good Smell in second floor.

(Translated by Google) They brought cheese to the lentil soup, which had hair in it, asked to replace it, brought another, but again with hair, and I looked, poked with a fork, but apparently the waiter somehow covered it with his hand, I don't understand. Caesar salad for 38.5 lire, which my friend took, consisted of only leaves + some chicken + one small cherry tomato. The waiter tried to molest his friend, all the time he "inadvertently" touched her. Avoid this place. P.S. when I asked why there is hair, I was told "rüzgar" (wind).

A decent restaurant in Istikal Street. Mostly dessert but there are food items as well. I enjoyed my pie and strawberry juice..my dessert which was a chocolate ice cream sandwich was just ok. Some of the servers were quite nice but I got a slight discriminatory feel from others towards me. Also wouldn't recommend if you are a non smoker to sit upstairs...lots of smoke.

Chocolate flavor ice cream is the best! Banana flavor reminds me of childhood ice cream. Cozy environment after long walking tour in surrounding landmarks. Nice view from the window upstairs. Orange ice cream is not so tasty. Finally tried Turkish sweets here! A bit more oily and sweet than expected

It is about 4 floors. The 4th floor isnt working but it has the working bathroom! The 2nd and 3rd floors are air conditioned and pretty nice. It is awesome because at that time there were no one and we could enjoy chay and dessert in a quiet place. The view is also nice from the third floor.

The deserts and the breakfast are really good, but, unfortunately, in this period of time we didn t see any measure of safety in sanitation concern, the waiter was touching unsealed cutlery after touching money, after cleaning the tables and serving the food. One floor very crowded and the other one on top was closed, so no measure regarding social distance, they could have opened all the floors so people could keep a safe distance.

Very nice, multi level, dessert place and ice cream parlour. Located very centrally in the Fatih area and easily accessible by tram. There is a wide variety of things to choose from. I had multiple pastries. The best was the kunefe with ice cream on top. Also I nice warm sweet drink, I think called sahlep, really hit the spot. The place is also kid friendly.

Ice cream here is a must have. The store itself is nice and has several floors. Wait staff are very kind and helpful. They try to make the customer happy and they are generally quick. They also speak generally good English so it’s not a problem to order. They also have an English menu.

The taste is an commercial one, just sweet. I reached the location near the historical aria so I had at least a beautiful view from the terrace on the top floor (5* for this) I accessed the location reading various travel blogs but now, after I taste their sweet products I know that those people never really taste a turkish baklava( 2*for this) But I saw that a lot of people were serving breakfast so it is possible that the location will be approved more for this, which we did not try. (5* for this)
