A historic inn regenerated as a dining and retail space focusing on Turkish specialties. We had a Turkish breakfast for 2 persons at the central court under a skylight. The breakfast consists of eggs, sucuk, assorted cheese and bread, veggies and dates and so on. The food itself was fine, and the highlight for us were the aubergine puree - savory and appetizing, and no doubt the dates which is a certainty in Türkiye. The courtyard was enclosed by shops selling local specialties like nuts, dates and coffee as well. An interesting place just next to the Spice Market.

Very special tea house right in the centre of the busy area This is a genui oasis tucked in the shopping lanes by the tourist area. Worth a visit to escape the busy streets. Good tea coffee and food and drinks. Served to the table and QR code to help show the menu to all international travellers. Lots of choices and a great place to have a tea or cold drink in the hot summer.

Really nice cafe to have tea, breakfast or other meals. It’s relatively hidden, you have to go through busy shopping (bazar) street and than enter through a gate and hall to find this gem. There are shops around selling coffee, tea and other delicates. I really enjoyed the breakfast.

Favorite place in Istanbul to buy Turkish tea and sweets (it’s prices are pretty cheap) , when you go there the workers literally stuff you with sweets and candy or chocolate or anything that they have , they are just super nice and generous, we felt really full after they let us try 13 kinds of sweets and even offered more but couldn’t take it anymore 😅, seriously everything is just on a next level , place is super clean , has aesthetic interior (kinda modern kinda historical) , they have a variety of options for breakfast/lunch/dinner ,super tidy and organized, went there like 6 times and never got out of there dissatisfied, love it,love it ,love it , they really deserve some love I’ll recommend it to every person crossing near the area .

Nice ambient in the area despite the buzzling area external of the building The macarons never fail to appease me. The taste was just nice without heavy on the sugar. Shd go for the pistachio dream cake and all in all go for the chai to quench the sugary taste..haha at least you do not have to feel guilty to taking on all the desserts

Cozy tucked away tea/coffee house in a historical place. Great for relaxing after visiting the busy bazaar.

lovely for when you’re tired of the buzzing bazaars and in need of a quick refresher. they have classic drinks like turkish coffee and espresso based drinks or even milkshakes. turkish coffee comes with purple basil (reyhan) sherbet which is floral and fragrant. if you want to try something different, their han cold coffee is an iced dibek coffe drink; ice, milk and turkish coffee with mastic gum flavouring. fine grounds of coffe are still present in the drink.

One of the best places I had breakfast in, just order the breakfast per person and add to your order your type of eggs and don’t miss the eggs with sausage and eggs with tomatoes. I would definitely travel to Turkey just to have breakfast there 🥰 Ask for Ismail the waitress and tell him I said hi.

LOVED this place ! It is located in a courtyard tucked right off one of the alleys in Egyptian bazar. The whole courtyard is beautifully restored and renovated. So clean and the teas are so delicious and nicely presented

With our young daughter, we entered the location. We intended to have Turkish coffee while unwinding a little. while we were inside, moving from store to store. My daughter needs to go to the bathroom. One of the employees (a lady) rudely stopped us with a wild attitude while my wife was taking her to the restroom. "Did you shop here?, where is your receipt?, if you don't have receipt you cannot use restrooms, go away," she rolled her eyes and asked us in an abrasive manner. She walks back and forth while muttering (seen was incredibly annoying). We calmly stated to her that our daughter needed to use the restroom and that we could not bear these formalities. She keeps being really disrespectful and impolitic. To make sure my daughter uses the restroom, I must locate manger. Even after I spoke with the manager, we still did not feel at all comfortable. Manager essentially dismissed the circumstance, not concurring that the employee's behaviour was improper. Soon after, he vanished with the secene. The majority of high class area managers are required to follow and assure the customer that this kind of attitude and behavior is unacceptable. Once my wife and daughter had exited the bathroom. We were afraid to continue drinking our Turkish coffee inside the restaurant. We were concerned (had a feeling) that they would add something unsavory to it. It appears that they do not educate their employees and are purely motivated by financial gain. The location is of very poor quality and serves as a tourist trap. It is a poor portrayal of TR, and local governments should outlaw or regulate these kind of establishments. Human interactions and attitudes lag 40 years behind the average. The chocolate I purchased was average—nothing extraordinary. I don't think I'll ever make a purchase there again.

Good experience to taste different types of tea. Didn’t try their food but desserts are not too interesting. Environment of the shop is good.

Beta Tea House is a very special and beautiful place. A part of history brought to modern days. Is very clean and cozy. Staff is great and the products even more. Everything is so delicious and the prices are very realistic. Each thing deserve each "kuruş" you spend there.

Absolutely NOT recommend this place! I ordered hot chai latte (tea latte), they said they have it, but brought me a coffee, then I said "it's coffee, I wanted tea", they apologized and brought hot chocolate! I said "I ordered tea latte", they brought me that coffee back and lied to me three times that it's tea latte! Super unprofessional and not nice waters who lie to clients. NOT recommend!

👍 The place is cozy, but not that big. We visited at night so it wasn’t crowded. The sweets were special, I loved the Caramel Tres Leches, it was the best! Baklava, pudding and other desserts were so tasty and the Cappuccino was good. As for the stuff, they were friendly but did not speak much English...
