The Pluismeer is actually only visible from the bird hide. It is a beautiful nature reserve, but otherwise not accessible. It is located next to the Stulp nature reserve, which is really worth a visit. The lake was created by the excavation of a sandstone factory and the name is derived from the fluffy wool grass that grows next to the lake.

I had hoped to get to the "fluff lake" itself, but that was not possible and there was barbed wire all around it. And that's a shame. Furthermore, it is a very beautiful nature reserve with beautiful hiking trails and also mountain bike trails. Here too it is extra beautiful when the heather blooms in August. Nature here is diverse, you have beautiful heath areas, but also beautiful dune areas. What I liked was a large field with large ferns, I have not yet come across a field like that in the Netherlands.

👍👍 Beautiful park with a history the new owners of the glass house are ready to tell you any time. Worth a visit while in the town of Baarn. Take a stroll and enjoy the old species of trees, coming from the former Dutch colonies. The glass house is a cool place for a drink, sweet surprise and lunch. Fo...

👍👍 Lovely walk via a route from Komoot. There are also mountain bike trails nearby and there is a small eatery where you can enjoy a snack and drink after your exercise. A real place to enjoy nature.
