We went for dinner here tonight and the food and experience was pretty bad. It took around one hour for the main course to come out. During that period we asked twice why our food was not coming and they said, sorry we are busier than we thought and you are not the only ones waiting a long time!!! It was quite frustrating. When the food did come out it was rather cold. The fat in the middle of the rib eye had become a little hard. We were all just waaay to hungry to send it back and just eat the meal. It was clear our food probably sat there for a little bit. My father in law ordered white wine with his main course, an asparagus meal, and he had finished the meal before the white wine had come out. Absolutely terrible service and the food was not very good. I gave two stars because the waitresses were very nice and friendly (even though they clearly had little experience). Would not recommend to others.

Kinda fell in love when I visited this place during fall in 2019. It was so peaceful and the staff were really nice, they knew we didn't speak the local language and helped us with our order. Looking forward to visit again!

Very bad service. Took a long time to take our order and once it was done, we waited again to be served. Whatever you ask the waitresses, needs to be asked many times.

Friendly staff who kindly offered to keep my bouquet in water while I was having dinner. Had the trout salad which was richly filled and very tasty. Atmosphere is nice with cosy lighting.

Old style grand cafe by the train station. Atmosphere is good, mostly for the older public. I only ate cesar salad and drinked some tee. Dont expect much from the food, just the regular Dutch style, wasnt horrible. Service was good, plenty of space.

Lovely restaurant, handy location. Service very good, not pushy and not rushing you out when you've finished eating. Bit pricy though.

This cafe is in a great location, next to the forest and the old Baarn train station. The building has a great atmosphere and a pretty decoration. We sat in the terrace and ordered cappucino and well-done hamburgers for the lunch. The hamburgers were served quickly although the cafe was almost full. The plate had yummy french-fries, mayonnaise, sweet mustard, onion and pickles. On the contrary to the nice presentation, the burgers were not juicy and their taste could be much better - that was the reason why we rated with 4-stars. The cafe is also next to the Kabouterpad and selling bag of accessories for the route (costing 6.5 Euro)- a nice activity for the kids.

Always nice and convenient as a meeting venue, nice ambiance, staff is warm, friendly, welcoming.

Good food but value for money for certain dishes such as carpacio on bread is out of balance due to the amount of carpacio.

I liked the atmosphere in an old train station. Great outdoor seating near a forest. The Dutch Weed burger I had was OK. Very close to the Baarn train stop.

Very popular. We were lucky to get a table, next time we will book. Lovely food.

We was there by motorcycle on the way we got really wet from rain. The cafe was half empty but because we liked only some coffee and cake they send as away. Dinner would be not a problem, also very unfriendly. Not to advice for motorcycle riders, they are not welcome.
