Lively main square in the heart of Krakow. Plenty going on, safe feeling, and a good meeting point in the centre.

Only 40 minutes from my home by vespa, love this place visit often with my wife she loves to come here for a coffee and a walk along the river, there's a great Italian restaurant and a good kebab place. Nice vibe at the weekend after six in the summer sunshine.

i could not recommend visiting the market more! your visit to krakow isnt complete without it and in some ways its hard to avoid this central area while exploring the city anyway. just seeing it and existing in that atmosphere is amazing but make sure to check some of the unique crafts and traditional polish food too for the full experience.
