We stayed in one of the 3 tents of Alsaif Camp. Great experience for a decent price. You can drive your 4x4 all the way to the camp which is around 4 km into the desert from their office. Deflate your tires first. The main part of the road is flat. The last 500m over the dunes. Attached bathroom with sky view, shower and toilet. Electricity for phone charging. Reception for local sim card users. Breakfast & dinner for extra $$. The camp is surrounded by dunes. Activities possible e.g. desert rides with the SUV. Recommended if you don’t want to spend a fortune for a night in the desert. Thanks for having us.

Stayed here and enjoyed our trip. Basic facilities with a tent at a really good location and kind hosts. Will definitely come back. So worth the price

The camp itself is in a good location to have a nice sunset and sunrise. Tents are clean and well equipped. I don't think that the price is appropriate as there comes an additional 10 rial for the "shuttle service" from the town to the camp (8 min drive). We booked an option with breakfast and think this shall be improved as there was no coffee and less variety in food and beverages then offered in the pictures.

From the main office, our location was about 10 minutes drive thru the sand dunes. You need 4*4 vehicle. If not they will arrange for pick & drop. Our tents were really spotted with view of the dunes. Calm & cosy place. We had booked two tents. 4 single beds in one tent and 1 family tent with one queen size bed. The beds were neat & clean. Toiletries such as tooth brush, soap, & toothpaste were provided. Dinner and breakfast were provided. Not great I would say. It was ok. Not much choices for veg. The climate was chill and breezy. Overall our stay was good. Sunset & Sunrise were too good. Dune bashing is there. You need to inform Mr. Badr / Mr. Mohd in advance. Charges will be extra.

The location was perfect. Calm and quiet place to spend with your loved ones. Beautiful view of Sunrise and Sunset. Breezy in the evening. Temperature drops down as time passes. If you prefer staying in concrete roof style is also available. We preferred to stay in tent. Breakfast and. Dinner was provided. But needs to improve a lot. Would suggest if they have food warmer or the food can kept be hot casserole. Not much choices for vegetarians. Would suggest if you can carry some food stuffs. Overall the stay was pleasant admist your routine work life. Kids enjoyed a lot. Camel rides, dune bashing, buggy riding is also available. Pls get in touch with Mr. Badr/ Mr. Mohd

Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay in the Arab desert camp. Tents are located between 2 sand dunes and you can walk up to watch sunset/sunrise. Badar was very welcoming and knows a lot about the desert, bedouins and culture. He stayed with us until the evening and played us some traditional bedouin music.

We had an amazing desert experience! We stayed in the Bedoeïen tent. It was simple and clean, exactly what we were looking for. We had our son with us (1 year) and everybody was so nice to him. We went camel riding and sand sledding, our boy loved it (he slept on the camel haha). Special thanks to Mohammad and Badr :) best experience of Oman!

The Galaxy Chalet was stunning! Simply amazing. The view, the location. We were amazed. Extremely friendly staff, who brought us dinner to the chalet. Simply amazing. Very tasty BBQ for dinner. The sunset drive was worth the money. Just super beautiful. Badar was super nice and showed us around the Beduin camp as well. Overall a must go to!

All necessary facilities are available, the space is amazing and location is great. However, only problem is that the place is not clean and the furniture are not well maintained.

I stayed in the double room for one night but this was everything but a nice stay: - the mattress was so terribly hard that I couldn't sleep all night and got back pain - I had to rearrange the bedside lamp because there is no socket at the bedside table… - in the whole room there is nothing from two beds and a broken sticky bedside table. No table, no chair, no shelf. So I had to use the second bed as a shelf (how good that I was alone in the room...) - dinner was cold when served and not remotely worth the 5R - the breakfast was also abysmal (and I had to justify myself for asking for coffee instead of karak for breakfast) - in the toilet there were still the legacies of the previous guest (obviously they weren't really cleaned or checked) - the lighting in the hotel area was only switched on very late - I had to walk in the dark for a long time and so the whole thing had quite an unwelcoming, uncomfortable character - I hadn't booked any additional activities (e.g. dune bashing), which I was indirectly blamed for the next morning So - I for sure can not recommend this place.

Stayed here for one night. Mohamed met us, he was very kind to us, he was always in touch in WhatsApp, the welcome was very warm. We decided to change our standard room to a tent in the desert, Mohamed explained everything to us in detail, helped us figure out how to close the reservation without penalties, and picked out a tent for us in the desert. The tent was impressive, everything was clean and there was a private bathroom with shower and toiletries. Sit by the fire in the evening. I liked the location of the camp, there was no one nearby and the views were amazing; we saw the sunset and sunrise on the dunes. You can get to the hotel by your own car (even a regular sedan). You can order a transfer to the camp for 10 rials. You can also book events and dinner. Highly recommend this place

Despite the difficulties in getting there due to the lack of internet, the owner guided us brilliantly and we reached our destination. I recommend the place with all my heart! It is very clean considering the desert conditions, hot water in the shower, and a set of toiletries in the bathroom, including a toothbrush and toothpaste. We ate an Omani breakfast with pleasure under the open sky. A sunset in the desert and a unique starry sky? It's impossible to describe, you have to see it! A great adventure for people who want to expand their spectrum of experiences. I recommend it and I regret that we were only there for one night.

I have stayed here twice now and both the times I had such a good and pleasant experience. The rooms are very clean and they have good outdoor sitting area in chalets with a private pool and sitting area. You can cook your own food / bbq if you wish to since they provide a kitchenette and grill . The camps is very accurate to the pictures they send you and it’s worth your while to stay at this easy accessible accommodation. It’s also pet friendly and my beagle had the best time out of all of us 😅.
