I was so disappointed and was expecting so much better after reading others. Service was mediocre and food (even though recommended by waiter) was disgusting - so salty that inedible, soda without gas. Shame, after lovely day in beautiful Bad Hersfeld...

Visited with a group of colleagues during a business trip. Balkan/German restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great service. I ordered the rump steak for dinner and it was a little too rare for me, but otherwise great in taste including the side dishes. I would definitely like to go there again sometime.

We were visiting Bad Hersfeld for the first time and wandering around the city center on a rainy afternoon looking for a traditional German place to eat. Suffice it to say that we found the right place. The host and staff were very friendly which is rare during these troubled times. The portions were pretty large, which was exactly what we needed and everything was delicious. If we ever return to Bad Hersfeld, we know where to eat.

I think the food was great. And the atmosphere was very pleasant.

This is a cosy place to grab some hearty German food. It’s in a traditional wooden frame building with rustic decor. Staff are excellent even when times are hectic and they easily managed our menu changes with ease. The menu is fairly straight forward and the prices are very reasonable. We had two main and 4 drinks for about €45. They even added a complimentary beer testing for us of a local Keller beer. They take card and cash, and there’s plenty of parking outside.
