One of the best places for vegan food. Most of the menu is vegan. I actually had my wedding lunch here so you know i am a big fan! All my guests enjoyed the food a lot (most of them were not vegetarian). We had the tortillas and the mushroom risotto cake. As well as the brownie and the mango cheesecake. Everything was absolutely delicious and filling. The desserts are amazing! All the portion sizes were great. The staff are lovely too. Definitely check it out. vegan or not!

Such a discovery! We were in the surroundings and had no booking, we tried another restaurant that had not availability and then tried here. When we took seat we realized that it was a vegetarian restaurant. It fairly exceeded our expectations. All the plates were really tasty and the atmosphere was really nice. Pictures speak by themself. I will definitely recommend it. Good cost-quality relationship.

It was just me in the restaurant I went there around 5pm on a Thursday. Nice calm atmosphere. Let's start off with the good. The crumble desert was excellent and a big portion. The service was good but it was just me in the restaurant so difficult to rate it based off my experience. The main dish was a small portion for the price infact the desert was the same size portion. I didn't find it that amazing it was the Wellington I had. They also don't accept cash either which I find is quite unacceptable. If I had known they didn't accept cash I would have not eaten here. I won't be back.

The plating or food presentation was nice, although the dishes were not pitch clean. We had to wait one hour for our main dish, which I do not mind if it is worth it. However, the Katsu Curry was disappointing: not crunchy, but rather gummy, as if it had been half-cooked some time ago, and the sauce did not captivate me. The price felt a bit expensive, given the quality and small portion quantity. Overall, it felt like it had potential as a restaurant, but our experience was not good.

I love this place I only become vegan 2 months ago but this restaurant is my go to place I have been to the Hammersmith branch too the food is great in both but this one is nicer bigger. My favourite dishes the truffle Arancini the avocado beetroot starter and the main is mushroom risotto. (I was missing the fresh bread that they offered in Hammersmith and not in here) I have tried the tiramisu and the chocolate orange dessert none of them was my favourite. Tiramisu wasn't sweet enough for me the chocolate was too bitter. But rest of the food is very good and the staff is friendly and quick. We spent around £70 without alcohol just water so it is not a cheap place

Amazing place for people who are vegan. Never thought that vegan food would be so diverse and unique in taste. A slight disappointed that the restaurant didn't agree for allowing my friend's birthday cake to be cut...that will always remain a disappointment!

It was my first time visiting and the food here was great. I ordered the tacos and they were tasty. However, the service was absolutely appalling. First of all, when the waiter was taking our order he didn’t take note of it he just memorised it; this led to him getting our order wrong and muddled up. We ordered the homemade bread to snack on before our food came out, we never received this bread. A table next to us who arrived AFTER us were served first and they were on dessert and we had STILL not received our starters. Twice a waiter came down to tell us that there had been a mix up yet didn’t apologise for it. A great place for food, but the service totally ruined our experience here.. and to make matters worse, they added a £12.50 charge to the bill for the service which we had to pay - absolutely atrocious if you ask me!! Why should we pay so much for such a terrible service??!

A food heaven! I don't think words can do justice to this place. It's all vegetarian/vegan and every single item on the menu is an explosion of flavour. Although the dessert was underwhelming compared to the rest of the food, all the starters and mains are worth the price. This is definitely going to be my current favourite vegetarian restaurant in London.

Really nice ambience and the restaurant was full so totally recommend making a booking. The staff was also very efficient in tidying up! The dessert - chocolate ball like was delicious. Would totally rcommend to share at the end. One was a lot of one person. We had the beetroot burger, katsu curry, the salad, the pie, the miso aubergine and the courgette flower as a starter. We loved the courgette flower and the aubergine. Plating was very pretty. A bit on the expensive side as portion was smaller but quality was top notch.

By far one of the best culinaric experiences I had so far in London! Not only is the food super tasty it also looks amazingly. And the staff is very friendly, attentive and competent. I'll come back for sure. Thanks!

Fantastic vegan options, really tasty food and I love how creative most of the meals are. The desserts in particular were really impressive!!

The food I ordered was ok in taste, but nothing extraordinary. I expected a bit more to be honest. As a starter I had the truffle and mushroom arancini, where I missed a dip or at least a kind a vinaigrette coming with the rocket leaves. So the arancini were a bit dry when in my mouth. As a main dish I had a beetroot cheese burger. Fries were not included, so I ordered polenta fries. Both of them came with the same dip, but I culdn‘. figure out what kind. Nevertheless the service was friendly during my visit.

Had lunch with my vegetarian friend on a Friday at lunch time. We enjoy the food so much, everything was truly great. We order the prosecco menu, having a glass each and three courses so we could try different things. During the day we couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Will definitely be back.

We had a work dinner here and everyone who are not vegan really enjoyed their meal. The starts were amazing and so much to choose from we ordered most of them to share.

Loved it. Service is superb and the the food is even better. One of the best vegan restaurants in London. I can recommend the dragon salad and mushroom risotto. Oh and don't leave without trying the vegan tiramiso.

I have been visiting various The Gate branches and absolutely love their dishes but also the atmosphere of their restaurants. This evening, I visited this branch with a friend. The Aubergine Schnitzel was delicious and so was the Dark Chocolate Snowball desert. The team on site was attentive and friendly. Overall, a lovely atmosphere for a place to dine out in Central London. Highly recommend.

What an impressive vegan restaurant. I truly was not expecting this quality of food from a vegan restaurant, there wasn't a single dish that disappointed and I couldn't believe how they made some dishes vegan. You wouldn't even be able to tell that the desserts were vegan if they didn't tell you. Service was friendly though a tad slow at times but definitely a lovely experience. Will be returning for sure.

Aubergine teriyaki - I didn't get what the aubergine component of the dish was-quite tasteless too somehow. The noodles on the side were nice but too little. As a vegetarian I aas disappointed with this mains dish. Mango cheesecake was okay, not great. The cheese itself was a gelatinous texture and the mango thing on top was mango set like jelly. I like cheesecake for the texture as well and not just the taste and this cheesecake didn't check all boxes for me. Service and ambience great!

Delicious vegetarian cuisine! I am so happy that I discovered this place. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the menu has great options to choose from and the food is made with attention to detail. The staff were polite too.

I visited for lunch this week and had a lovely meal. They have nice seating available outside. The food was delicious, I had the Tortillas. The service was a bit slow and they had some issues with their ordering system - I think just working through reopening issues since they've only recently opened again.

I've been two times, I can say risotto it's great and the place is nice but I've to say there is too much oil or sauces in many dishes. It's not light at all.

Loved this place. Prob one of my favourites on London. Lovely setting and atmosphere. Great service. Plenty of different options. We had the tartar and courgette for starters and the Katsu, Tortillas and gnocchi for mains. All were really tasty and well presented. Definitely recommend 👌

I have been to the Gate in Marylebone two times and this place is honestly my favourite restaurant in London. First of all, the arancini are out of this world, they are SO incredible! The risotto with mushrooms is the best main dish to choose and please do yourself a favour and try the tiramisu, it left me speechless!!! The people who work there are really lovely, last time we got served by Roxanne, she was super kind and made us feel very welcome and comfortable! Can't wait to be back very soon!

The restaurant was nice, bright, airy and spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The wine was nice, but the food was disappointing. I found it quite basic and overpriced for what it was. I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back.

We went here after our wedding. We had the entire lower level to ourselves. The food was top notch and the service friendly and attentive. Would love to visit again.

Came here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and both me and my partner were blown away by the amazing food! Such great flavours and beautiful presentation. The service was great as well.

Great vegan food. We took the 3 course meal. Starters were a bit basic - both were simply deep fried. The highlight was the beet burger which I found amazing.

I ate for the first time today at The Gate, although my wife has been before and raved about it. We were out with friends for lunch and we all had different meals, which were all beautifully presented and lovely to look at, and also delicious to eat. Service was friendly, and the whole place is a nice relaxed environment to enjoy the meal in. Prices were reasonable for a restaurant in London - not super cheap but also not overly expensive. All in all, a really nice place to enjoy tasty vegetarian food.

Excellent place to go. Our food was a bit late, and they very kindly took all the food off the bill. A very kind thing to do, especially as it was so delicious. We have been repeat customers for years, and this experience has only bolstered our enthusiasm for the restaurant. Thank you, especially to Nadya our server!

Went here for a birthday meal on a weekday, really nice atmosphere. Elegant but unpretentious inside. Creative food from different cuisines presented in a 'fine dining style' - mix of Italian, Mexican and Middle Eastern dishes. About half the dishes are vegan, including tiramisu, cheesecake and brownie for pudding. The staff seemed happy to work there, which contributes to 'good vibes'.
