What i loved; They have very good chefs and absolutely reliable and consistent delicious tastes. Their foods are well portioned so you are sure to be full. Their prices are VERY FAIR, considering the hotel standard food they provide. The restaurant has a touristy atmosphere with African songs and art. What i didn't like; They don't have good parking spots. Parking is unavailable! The outside isn't very welcoming. The atmosphere inside is not the best, but its good enough. Would i visit again? Yes, yes and Yes. It's my favorite place to eat in Bagamoyo

Poa Poa Restaurant, must be the best restaurant I have been to in the area of bagamoyo. As somebody who knows Bagamoyo inside and outside I can guarantee you that this place has to be taken into consideration whether it's for lunch or a place to get a few drinks in the evening. With a terrace where fresh air blows in or to a wide variety of sea food and other dishes to a attractive price, for not only locals but tourists aswell! Any questions? Then ask the owner, cause such a warm hearted owner is rare from what I've experienced in Tanzania, with Tips and recommendations on what to do/see. I'll be back! Asante Sana

What amazes me about this restaurant is that from the outside it looks so simple, but from the inside it's a wonderful place. The atmosphere is just a vibe and picture friendly, but the food is what impressed me the most, so fresh and tasty. The servers are very kind too. An overral great experience.

This place has underwhelming food. The pizzas have carrots, Little meat and barely any cheese. The local Bagamoyo dishes they made were also bland. The presentation was good though. The best thing I loved was their banana shake. Its delicious.

Had the Bahati Special which is basically a chapati rolex. Whole fish with rice great too. Took a little while for lunch to come but everything cooked fresh to order.

The food is fantastic, some good options to choose from. They have Swahili dishes as well as pizza and other options. They also serve some nice cooling drinks, especially the ice tea. The iced coffee is amazing! Seating is a bit rustic and can get a bit warm in the hot season

Poa Lovely places where they Have Wonderful Tuesdays Live Band. Great place for Friends Enjoyment. But Only Problem Their Foods and Drinks are Quite Expensive. Like Glass Of Juice It's 3000 Tsh Glass Of Wine 3000Tsh Whole Bottle Of Wine 30,000Tsh. Planning Going That Place You Should Also Prepare You Money. Other Services Are Quite Oky.

We’ve been here for dinner, had chapati, beans and the vegetarian pasta. The food was sooo good! Also the atmosphere is really cool! And it was not expensive at all. Even though we took something for take away too so we had something to eat for the next day. They charged the doggy bags as well, which is completely ok due avoiding waste, but could have been mentioned before. All in all - would recommend everyone to come here!

We ate at Poa Poa multiple times during our three days In Bagamoyo. The food was fresh and delicious every time. Prices are very reasonable, service is great and relatively fast compared to other places in Tanzania!

Had some samosas, shakes and a prawn chapati roll on the balcony while listening to relaxing music that foreign tourists love. If you don't like this place, I feel sorry for your children because you're probably a bad person and even worse parent. Enjoy, fools!!!

The food here is very nice, just like the people. There are a lot of quotes as decoration in this place and they are all very nice. It's a very cosy place. I'd definitely recommend to visit while in Bagamoyo.
