This is an amazing place for safari, you can experience classic game drives spotting big mammals and predators but you enjoy also a boat safari on Rufiji River at sunset, a lot of birds and water birds, hippos and crocs . It's a huge park and it's not busy, during the day it's difficult you meet other jeeps.

Saw cheetahs, 6 lions (few steps from the car!), elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and many more all in a few days Fantastic park. Recommend to take river, walking and game safaris if possible!

Good food but was very limited and with no variety to choose. Tent accomodation was very good but the solid structure rooms were very dirty & had dangerous insects like scorpion.

Great place, lovely and very helpful staff! Food is just fine as is the location of this hotel. It is situated right next to a wildlife parc. Sometimes the animals come onto the hotel's grounds, which makes the experience here extra special. I recommend this place.

(Translated by Google) Here we lived with the monkeys sometimes our huts / tents. Very fresh tent feels like a bungalow with real shower and toilet. Limited WiFi. Dinner out in the open every night with a lovely view. Swimming pool helps in the heat, but it also gets very hot 😁 Our guide Michael was a super guy for driving land rover. We got to see many animals up close. Did not need large lenses.

A wonderful Lodge surrounded by Africa's great beasts. Black Rhino abound great trophies if that is what you enjoy. If taking impressive photography is what you enjoy then this too is perfect. Staff are very helpful and welcoming, very warm people.

I went to Selous in Tanzania but on the wild side with a gaurd with friends and went tiger fishing and slept in open. This was a memerable and one of my best adventures in my life. I would recommend this as a life experience you will never forget.

lodge is very basic - no fans in room, no comfortable chairs. food was ok but very simple and somewhat unvarying. however bandas set amongst trees near river which was good, however close to village and we disturbed by music from the local bar on saturday night.

(Translated by Google) Yes it thought it was a very beautiful place, but the communication about the price was not okay, we agreed on a price before we went into the safari, then wanted to raise the price after we had been there for 2 days. So you have to be clear about what applies, and ask once too much than once too little. Otherwise it was fine.

(Translated by Google) Selous Lodge in typical African style. Very clean. Small pool to refresh. Bar and Restorant also in the African style. Cozy furnished. Component team at the reception. English speaking. Massais accompany you in the dark, z. From the bar to your bungalow. (Because of any comments on animals.) They are your protectors. Safari was the best part of the trip. There is the big full day safari. We have elephants, lions, antelopes, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes. And seen more. River safari, beautiful. In the setting sun. Funny was the bush walk safari. Who wants can smoke elephant shit. Everything organic. Everything is done individually in small groups. Our driver and guide unfortunately does not know the name anymore, older and very experienced. Once again a thank you. He also organized lunch in the middle of the wilderness. His brother has spoiled us with his culinary arts. Oh ... that was nice. Remains unforgettable for me. Thank you, dear and thank you Tanzania. (Original) Selous Lodge im typisch afrikanischen Stil. Sehr sauber. Kleiner Pool zum Erfrischen. Bar und Restorant ebenfalls im afrikanischen Stil. Gemütlich eingerichtet. Komponentes Team an der Rezeption. English sprechend. Massais begleiten dich im Dunkeln, z. B. von der Bar zu deinen Bungalow. ( Wegen eventuell Kommenten Tieren. ) Es sind deine Beschützer. Safari war das Schönste der ganzen Reise. Es gibt die große ganztags Safari. Wir haben Elefanten, Löwe, Antilopen, Hippos, Krokodile, Giraffen. Und noch mehr gesehen. Fluss-Safari, wunderschön. Bei untergehender Sonne. Lustig war die Busch Walk Safari . Wer will kann Elefanten Scheise rauchen. Alles Bio.

(Translated by Google) Really cool excursion. Sea of emotions! Everything from transfer from the hotel to the airport, flight by plane, meeting and accommodation in off-road vehicles, lunch - at the highest level. The flora and fauna are simply breathtaking. There are so many animals that you get tired of watching them for 5-6 hours. You can see lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, bulls, warthogs, hippos, hyenas. They are everywhere !!!

Super friendly staff. JImmy was always smiling and ready to help with everything! Dulus was a wonderful server and hope to see him again one day! Freddy was also super cool and made us laugh a lot! The reserve was amazing, not many other jeeps like other places. Food was good. Great experience! Saw everything!! Even wild dogs!! And even on our walking safari. I liked the open Jeeps. We stayed in the tents and they were clean no bugs! Wish there was a little more light in the bathrooms but everything else was spot on. The views were fabulous. I loved the spot by the fire and the snacks were a nice touch too!
