I like the place, very quiet, cool with a very good View.

We only had there some food. Vegetarian Masala and 3 Pizzas. It took at least 1,5 hours to get our food! That's crazy. The pizza was not so good, it was not a fresh but a frozen one. So not self made. The Margarita tasted like nothing. Fortunately the Masala was quite good. Prices are reasonable. The pool water looked dirty.

It belongs to Roman Catholic. You’ll also find rich history of the beginning of Christian religion. “Msalabani” which means in the cross

Rooms are spacious. Toilets are okay, though look more like an afterthought. The rooms definitely need maintenance work (the a/c kinda works, the door knobs are just about hanging in there, some rooms have windows you can't lock, tv cables go through the windows so you can't close them fully, etc), but looking past that my stay was pleasant. The sheets are spotless, the rooms are clean, and the ocean breeze is great. Lots of safe parking space. Value for money, 3/5 Food: I ate at the restaurant once, and food was just about okay, that's the best I can say about it. It definitely didn't taste like what I thought it ought to and for the price was not good value for money. I'd suggest eating out or ordering barbecue (chicken and octopus were good, but not the beef, very tough). Value for money, 3/5 Service: Excellent. The workers are friendly, professional and very helpful at all times. 5/5 There's Access to the beach right there and a swimming pool, so everyone is covered. 5/5 I would stay there again.

Its an affordable and beautiful resort. Improvements needed on 1. Swimming pool - too dirty especially during holidays , you had a good space , you could have utilised it better and have a bigger rectangular shaped pool instead. 2. Food quality - was good, could be better. I have been to this place over 5x and il always go back.

stella maris is a place i'd promptly think of whenever i feel a necessity for peace, enjoyment, some quiet and an otherworldly feeling of relaxation, recreation amusement and pleasure.... it is one among the top best hotels and recreation centres in tanzania and east africa

Very wonderful place to be and to live ever

Beautiful cool place at the coast of Bagamoyo. Several historic places a walk away from the hotel. This include the slave trade houses, the first missionary spot right at the gate and a short distance to the city centre. I enjoyed evening jogs at the beach with little interference. I will visit again.

The place is quite clean you can see the sun shine and sunrise, it's at the beach

This is a good place. Not a five star place like a Serena but a step up from many. The rooms are air-conditioning and large and cleaned each day. The housecleaning staff is not very flexible. Several days I told them to come back and service the room later and they never came. But no big complaints.

The rooms are big but not presentable at all, toilets are not good in terms of cleanliness (super improvement is needed). The wi-fi is not working so you need to have your own internet bundle😏 I stayed there for 3 nights and I had to use my own internet bundle.
