Feel the real experience here, It is a wonderful lodge, with a very friendly staff. General clean and kind of private, Cool place near the Bagamoyo main bus station with a lot of attractive sites like Caravan Serai, Museum, Kaole ruins, Mamba (Crocodile) Ranch, Old German Fort, and many more. It has excellent hospitality at an affordable price and can be negotiable from one week onwards as the longer you stay, a lot of foreigners stayed here, especially people from Germany, French, Switzerland, Denmark, Us, Turkey, etc. There's a parking premise at the lodge for about three vehicles space. I recommend this place for staying

I think this is the best lodge in Bagamoyo Town. the rooms are small but yeah very super great with its price, Customer service is top-notch... is located near the ocean also near the bust stand, and it's surrounded by Supermarket, Restaurant, shops in short at the city center. I love the place, calm and peaceful. Very Super-Duper ✨

Small room, for 2 people it would have been too cramped for me, but perfect for 1 person. Clean with good mattress for a restful sleep, plus a good shower and toilet. In a quiet area with a supermarket and restaurants in the street and a friendly owner I enjoyed the stay.

The staff are very helpful and very friendly. Wonderful service and very quiet even though it close to the main road. The location is good and they take care of the guest very well.

Excellent Service for both cleaning and customer care. I have been here before but now i see a lot of modifications now there's a shower, bidet, toilet paper, and other toiletries, beautiful curtains, tables, Chairs, ironing board, terrace..etc. I really enjoy the place infact you can see the picture here below for a single room that i used to stay.. 🤗

A very nice lodge! It is easy to reach from the bus stop and in the town centre. There are shops and restaurants all around. The owner welcomed us warmly and was very friendly and helpful. He showed great understanding when we wanted to checkout a night earlier than booked because our plans changed; no problem at all. The rooms are small but clean, with a fan and mosquito net, no WiFi. The shower is cold (or ambient temperature, which is perfectly refreshing after a long day in the sun) with good pressure. Very good value for the cheap price (10'000 TSh for a single room)!

We loved to stay here. We didn’t booked a room we traveled with a car with rooftop tent. We didn’t find a campsite around Daressalem so we asked there. Noel is a very kind host he helped us and let us stand and camp in his yard. Also he let us use the bathroom inside the lodge. Over all he wouldn’t charge us. We were so glad to find California lodge and Noel! Totally recommend this place. :)
