Bagamoyo is a nice historic place North of Dar Es Salaam. Nice to see the fishing vessels being unloaded on the beach front.

It was built by the Germans, it's made of coral stone and chalk or lime. Very nice history of Tanzania as it was the exit point for slaves.

Nothing much to see here but it's OK to pass by for a few minutes on your way to the beach for lunch. Good if you have a good sense of imagination for the history of the building.

Good place to learn on the historical events of slave trade along the coast of East Africa and the rulers "Sultans" during those medieval times

The place has good historical history. With the evidence of architecture and infrastructure used at the time.

Attraction in Bagamoyo, worth visiting on a day trip from Dar.
