Lodging need to improve, no soundproof at all, can hear people talking at the lobby and corridor clearly. You can also hear people bang their room doors and people walk passing your room clearly. Staff should at least remind their customer to slow down their voice after 10pm/11pm as there will be early morning boat trip to sky mirror (breakfast 5.30am).

    a very fun short vacation. the tour agency is very professional and organized. all the boat rides, food, lodging are well prepared and numbered. no disturbance. also want to give credit to all the photographers, they are very dedicated. they were lying on the beach, soaking wet for hours just to help tourists taking beautiful photographs. kudos!!! tourist please remember to bring sun block. couple hours on the beach is enough to "cook" your skin. 😀 in summary. enjoyable and wonderful trip, will go again.

    》Detailed review below《 Overall the experience was great and was fun. Of course, the places you stay in are not exactly perfect, but it is a great way to expose yourself to some nature and go out of your comfort zone. ================================= Activities: ●●●●● I have to say the activities are very fun and exciting. In the Sky Mirror activity, you will be sent to somewhere out at sea with shallow waters, where you get to dig out clams and take wonderful mirror images. (You can get as many pictures as you like, so be sure to catch the chance and take many!) I must warn that you need to put on sunblock as the sunburns I got were terrible. The Blue Tears activity was intresting, as you can see the glowing algae. However, it will be very dark and do not expect the best pictures. Also, do not get tricked into thinking you will step off on an island and see the Blue Tears. They only scoop up the algae and pour it into your hands for you to see. There are smaller activites like a small tour of the village and the Firefly sightseeing tour. (Do nots the Fireflies are just located at a few trees so its a very short tour. You also cant get out of the car to take pictures.) ================================= Rooms: ●●●○○ I wasn't the best place to stay for a night, but it was okay. All you get in a room are a few beds, an air conditioner and a few sockets. If you get the rooms inner in the house, you're in luck. There may be a few tourists drinking beer and talking outside. You also have to share the toilets with several other tourists (but don't worry, there are plenty). I have to say the toilet area in the house I was staying in was quite clean. (DO NOT mistake this for the main building. The places you stay in is NOT the main building). The WiFi is noticably slow too. ================================= Food: ●●●●○ Not bad at all! The food served was quite nice. For lunch, the clams that you caught will be used to cook and to be served to you. (So catch a lot, especially the huge ones!) For dinner there is hotpot and for breakfast they serve nasi lemak and noodles. (All are self service. Take how much you want.) ☆Tips☆ •Catch LOTS of clams! The best spots to take are: •The area where you take your photos. After you are done, quickly get some clams there. There are plenty! •The way back to the boat. If you are one of the first to start returning, don't stop yet! The water on the way back to the boat usually contains lots of clams! ▪DO NOT take the tiny crabs or the baby clams! (Obviously you do not want them for lunch and for the sake of nature)

    Sat 1 October 2022. We signed up for the popular 2D/1N tour package with this travel agency located at this fishing village. We parked our car and checked in at the designated counter at the office of Fisherman Family Sdn Bhd next door. Apparently, this Travel Agency and the Wholesale Fish supplier have made this village village a popular tourist attractions. Our tour package consists of food, lodging, buggy rides and the various attractions- Sky Mirror photography, Clam digging, Blue Tears phenomenon, Sunflower Theme Parks, Aquarium and Bird Park etc. We were first given a brief tour of this predominantly Teochew clan fishing village and visited a saito fish processing factory. Both our lunch (seafood platter) and dinner (seafood hotpot) were served sea-to-table fresh. Great social activities like karaoke singing and dancing were available at the spacious Jetty restaurant with a great seaview.The service crew were courteous and attentive. The prices are with the afforded budget traveller. Great value for money. P/S. All brochures, notices and annoucements were mainly in Manderin Chinese Only. If you lost just follow the crowd!

    Dirty shared toilets. I don't like the fact that the toilet hose was open every morning. The rooms had mosquitos when I was sleeping and they bit me. Good that there was a gathering area where my family and other families could watch the FIFA World Cup 2018 together at the big TV area, though.

    Good service, all staffs are friendly, helpful and service-oriented. It may be just a small fishing village but they have turned Bagan Dotoh into a tourist attraction with local seafood as food fare and transform itinerary such as seeing firefly and swan nesting buildings as a must see local attraction. Accommodation provided are clean and comfortable.

    Lots of hype for the tourism product. In terms of contribution towards the the local community and it's economy, they have done an excellent job. Lots of local youngsters are productively employed and exposed to this industry. They really created this tourism product out of "nothing". The highlight of the tour, the Sky Mirror, is not 6 he actual thing but an ingenious play with water and photography. The firefly tour is laughable. Not sure of its real or fake. The nighttime Blue Tears tour is quite enjoyable, but more for the one hour pleasant speedboat ride. The meals they provide are rather pathetic. Does not reflect the fees they charge.

    The bluetear sky mirror is amazing. Breakfast and dinner with sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. Time seems slowed when enjoying the stay there. Food really delicious. The cons are: not the travel agency, in the fishing village, trash everywhere. They don't bother to pick up .

    {"0":"They are quite professional in their services but I suggest since the resort is located near or within residential area, it might be better if there is a clean up exercise to beautify the whole area with more potted flowers and tidier. I will recommend more to go to this place as there's opportunity to sight dolphins splashing happily in the sea near the mystery beach sand.","2":["0","237"]}

    {"0":"Rooms were acceptable. Food was so so but the crew provided excellent service & entertainment. Believe my group had fun & lots of laughter during the karaoke session. One of the crew , “Brian” (Everyready battery) was like a live wire …. … always ensuring that the guests had a good time. The photo session experience at Sky Mirror is thumbs up! Kudos to these young men braving the scorching sun in their effort to teach and show the guests how to pose just to ensure good photos were taken. Well done! Recommended to come at least once in your lifetime for this unforgettable experience. Wish the whole experience could be more English friendly.","2":["0","240"]}

    A suggestion to the organiser of nine Island Agency, for safety purposes-if got raining season kindly don't encourage the tourist to go out for the sea trip during the night as it is very dangerous with the high sea wave which can cause the boat the sink. We were experiencing it during our trip and it look like our boat almost sink when we go out to see the "blue drop 'in the night and as our boat coming back to the shore, it stuck in the mug for more then half an hour until rescue boat come to help to evacuate us out from the boat. Other then this, the rest of the event is interesting and the worker is being very helpful.

    This place is in Sungai Wulong. It's a small fishing village with just over a hundred households. Most of the people in the village were named Wang. I'm surprised that such a small village can be bustling with people everywhere. Usually Chinese people come here for vacation, but I still see a lot of Malays coming to take pictures in Sun Garden. Originally, the itinerary included watching eagles, fireflies and blue tears, but we departed at 7 o'clock and there was no chance to feed the eagles. Fireflies weren't in season, so we only could see the blue tears. But the waves were too big, and we were not used to it. We had to go back after a little WHILE. We also went 'lala' digging. We found about 50+ 'lala'. After that, we went to 海洋 restaurant to have a meal. The fees for this trip was only RM30P per adult, RM240 per child. What a steal! Very recommended.

    The trip does not worth RM300 per pax. Went there with 5 pax and we were requested to stay in 1 small room. The room sound proof was bad, the voice from the corridor can be heard from the room. Last day lunch was disappointing. The lala served was frozen lala. It was not expected to be served frozen lala from a fishing village. Blue tear trip was not as expected also, they catch it from the sea using a net and throw it into the boat.

    Been here twice, they keep on improving the service👍, kind staff nice food good accommodation fair price and fantasy attraction: blue tears and sky mirror and also fireflies. Worth more than 5 stars. They really deserve more than that. Planning my third trip together with my friends to visit here again. Last but no least, they provide vegetarian meal too if you are vegetarian.
