One of the best places need to be visited when you come to Baghdad. Every time I go there it’s like the first for me . The monument represent the soul of martyr embrace the sky. it contains museum under the monument . The place is amazing and full of beautiful views, trees, lush greenery, birds and the cleanliness of the place. The place also has an indoor park. The place is under development. Please complete it as soon as possible so that everyone can enjoy entering it.

Stunning. It's a landmark that you can't miss when in Baghdad. One of the most iconic structures within the region. It also houses a museum directly under it (though it isn't always open?). There structure has become home to many birds that nest under the shaded area bellow. It's actually beautiful to see and admire 🙏🏻💕

It's closed - you can only see it from the outside to take photos.

I was lucky enough to go in and visit this monument. It is dedicated to the Iraqi's who lost their lives during the Iran/Iraq war. Absolutely beautiful

Must see monument in Baghdad. It's both easy to photograph and impossible to capture all at the same time. It changes throughout the day - and if you get the chance don't miss the museum underneath.

What beautiful architecture here. They have hours of operation that you have to search up. We came here at 11am and they were open. It's gorgeous and a must visit!

Very beautiful landmark of Baghdad, full of history. This war memorial evokes light. It’s a gorgeous sky blue set against white. You can’t quite understand the magnitude of how big and beautiful it is until you are up-close. It’s not the same as from a car. Downstairs there is a small memorial museum and the etchings of the names of those fallen.
