The Ghat on the bank of river Ganga was built in the year 1931 in the name of Prasad Das Sen, a legend of Chinsurah. This ghat is now used by local people. It is a cool ghat, there is a big banian tree over the ghat, giving a pleasant shade on it. A little mandir is on the ghat. Many people comes here for rest at afternoon.

Beautiful place..πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ it's always best to visit the Ganga ghat at the afternoon time. Quite peaceful place but the surrounding place is too much dirty.

One of the oldest bathing ghats in Chinsurah. People not only use it just for bathing but it is also used for idol immersion purpose around the year during different festivals like Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Kartik Puja, Jagadhatri Puja, etc. There is also space for people to sit down and rest for a while.

Quit claim. It's the time of lockdown so not much people here. Water is cleaner than before. But don't expect that it always stay clean. That's up to us. But as always, nothing more refreshing then take a bath in Ganga.
