Could only see few monkeys and deer in the whole forest. However it's a cool place to hangout.

Great place to explore. Even you ll be able to see wild animals . The best thing about this place is that you ll have the peace the best of all things. The weather is just fabulous so that you can see the beauty of nature. The maintenance is great . The path that leads to the desitination is good. On the way you may be able to see dear, monkey etc . The path is covered with fance in order to keep the animals away from the path so that the visitors remain safe. Come and have a look only then you'll be able to experience the joy. Adios.

Really nice combination of wild and nature

First I came here in 2013 and since then I love this place came back again in oct 2017.It's a nice place calm and quiet in the lap of mother nature. You can even stay here with your family and friends at night in the cottages and you will have an amazing experience but you have buy vegetables,rice,meat,etc. from the market and the cook will cook for you. When I came in 2013 no source of electricity was present and the workers fetched water from the lake but now they have installed generators and water pumps. If you are very lucky then you might be able to see some peacocks and spotted deers. At night howling of foxes is common and you may even see one of them.Overall it was a great experience.

Wildlife is not easy to look here...because nothing left too much animals here..tiger trap can be observed...which is made by chero kings

The place is calm and serene. For one living in metro cities, this place would have been one of the close get aways on weekends. One travels inside for 10 Kns from NH and in between u can see a Tiger Trap built by Rajas. Then u move further and in between deers and neel gai can be witnessed in the fence. The sanctuary does not have much wild life. At centre, there is a lake a where you can sit around and have eats from canteen. They have cottages here to stay that can be booked online, through ranchi forest office, if vacant the local forest incharge can allot the same in situ. Very nominal charges. Food can be cooked if you have raw material. The cook is good. If one plans overnight halt, then be sure that you can live without electricity. It's till 10 pm with genr back up only.. Well this is fun and an experience. Enjoy in the nature's lap. Feel recharged. Have a good time guys.

No animal no mobile tower but peaceful excellent nature....lunch dnr everything should be arranged by party....cooking is also good....canteen is far from stay

One night stay is must, no electricity no mobile network, cooks are available but self arrangement for food to be done, bookings confirmation from forest office Hazaribhag

The VIP Guest House was excellent. Staff there were very helpful. Above all,the scenic beauty and courtesy and consideration shown by DFO was exemplary

Very beautiful an peaceful place. I came and enjoyed very much here. Everyone should come here at least one time.

No electricity facilities are in the cottage.. Generator battery is not working.. Rooms are clean, well maintained.. Food quality is too good..

Dense jungle, serene place, muddy road, peaceful place, bumpy drive. If lucky can see 1-2 animals. Locals come here just to spend some time. Entry fee 20 INR per person as of 15-Aug-2017.
