The four stars were given only because the place itself it nice to visit. However, actually it deserves less stars when you see how do they treat the nature and environment around. More viewpoints and walkways will be built and more damaged made to the nature. I am sure it can be done carefully.

The place is great. Just that I'm not a fan of permanent structures placed inside a mangrove ecosystem.

I always appreciate any development program that ensures the sustainability of the environment while generating income for the locality. This park is practically one of Masbate City LGU's best practices. I love that this is well-visited by the common peoples, which is a mark that it indeed is a public park. I have two points for its improvement though: (1) The park should intensify its awareness campaign about the role of mangroves to biodiversity, especially that Buntod Reef can be seen from the area. Knowledge displays should be creatively made to catch the interest of everyone. With this, it can also become a public museum for everyone. (2) While the mangrove forest protection is remarkable, the area visibly still lacks mangrove trees. Mangrove reforestation should be intensified.
