This is a very unique museum made up of Vintage depression era glasses. We actually went on a whim on a monday only to find the museum closed. It was a good thing that we were able to contact the owner and curator of the museum, Mr. Tomico Casiano. He graciously opened the museum for us even on his day-off since we came from Manila and already on our way home that day. He toured us and gave very detailed explanation of his glass collection. He is so passionate in sharing his love for vintage glasses that we were also encouraged to do the same. This is the only museum that not only allows you to touch the displays but he actually encourages visitors to touch them to appreciate the art. The museum is his baby and you must really set an appointment to visit the place. It is a MUST SEE when you go to Bacolod.

The place could be nice but we were not able to enter because the caretaker advised us that there should have been a prior notice before visiting. We travelled from Bukidnon and this was included on our list of destinations but failed to enter.

This should be part of your bucket list. You don't often see a museum/collection of glasses. The owner is super accommodating as well. Make sure to call before visiting.

Laguerta Home of the Vintage Glasses Museum is filled with different glasses of different sizes, shapes, and colors. A display of decorative glasses from plates and bowls to drinking glasses and mugs, the museum exudes fine beauty and uniqueness. If you are a trave who love antique collection and museum, you will surely love this. #philippines #bacolod #museum #tourist #destination #laguerta #vintage #glasses #different #colors #sizes# #travelphotography #phonephotography

Well maintained!! The owner is also the curator. Relaxing place. Nice to know that we have this kind of museum in Bacolod, first of its kind. The owner is really nice and to top it all, no entrnace fee. Just donations. Owner just wants to share his great passion and collection to everyone. Lots of things to learn. Thank you Sir Casiano.
