Never ever stay at these airport when you have early flight base on my experience here it wasn't good at all. As you can see the photos is kinda dark its because they turn off some of the airport lights "so crazy" no store open to buy water or food, you only allowed to stay outside where all the waiting area has like couple of sits. No public vehicle to go out, no taxi, it was terrible airport. so you'll make sure your flight is not that early like mine so you cant stay outside were all the mosquitoes only be your company to accomodates you til the morning comes. SMH 🙅🤦

The airport was quite a long ride from the port but it was nice. The taxi driver was friendly, so I hope the same goes for the others. The airport facilities are well-maintained as far as I know, and the airport staff were really accommodating, making our stay quite memorable. Hope we could come back anytime soon.

This airport has always been clean and efficient. Employees both for airlines and airport support staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing lacking is a fast food restaurant like McDonald's, Burger King or even Jolibbee. As travel is coming back to a normal, airport expansion is highly suggested.

Actually last june 21, 2023 we forgot our backpack to their waiting area , i only notice that when we arrive ni naia 3 so i called immedietly to them and tadaaa i got the bag in just 1 day. Redundant xray machines upon entry causing delays. Too many people checking your boarding pass. Not enough priority lanes. No water in the toilet to flush and wash hands. Not enough seats while waiting to board. :( 3 stars because our seat was changed to the front when the lady on check in counter reqlised that my mum has limited physical ability

Update March 2019 it has improved cleaner and more shops, the air-conditioning is not sufficient, still don't have enough seat for everyone. There flies and some bugs near the food stalls. No boarding announcement because it is broken. Update, March 2018 the airport is so small, bagage carts if you find one it is broken, Very small over crowded terminal very dirty bathroom strong smell of urine, the gate areas is way over crowded, waiting area does not have enough seat for everyone to sit, and there is 6 gate agent for one gate everything is so disorganize.

Small airport. Not enough seats while waiting for your flight. But clean and all the staff are accomodating. Would need more space for waiting area since flights are back at full force. Love merzci shop outside! Haha

Better than I expected, the runway is just right, there are still on going upgrades, but a consisitent welcoming confort from smiling people and cordial climate greeted me on my first ever visit to Bacolod, congratulations!

An hour late flight but better than cancelled. We'll always find a way to be back home. Flight is not fully occupied just enough. I was able to set alone in my row and enjoy the window side.

Small, friendly airport. Free wifi requires signing up so I didn't. Curiously both departures and arrivals are on 2nd floor. Probably because of the small size. You can't get lost here. I dropped a pouch with money in it prior to departure. Somebody turned it in to security and I got it back. Very honest people. FYI PAL boards flights here starting with priority passengers, then from the back rows up. So if you want to board first, you should be a senior, accompanying children, or require special assistance.

A tiny airport but very reliable if you wanna have quick access or exit route from Negros Occidental. You need like 3 rides from Bacolod to reach it, but can be done in 1 hr - 1hr 30 min from the city.

The airport is very clean and organized. Staff are very nice.

The airport can accommodate more passengers than last time I was here. Though, the passengers arrival area is still the same, kind of straightforward with areas for improvement. Their area for check-in counters for departing passengers is still located in a smaller portion of the terminal’s ground level, leading to long queues at their busiest times. Souvenir and delicacies shop are available at the pre-departure area. Overall, Bacolod-Silay Airport is great and at par with other international airports of the country.

Overall it is a very simple airport to navigate and check in is just past the doors. Staff is friendly and helpful, though technical problems can be an issue and delayed my most recent flight by two hours because the system went down and everyone had to be manually checked in. Past security, the options for food are highly limited so plan accordingly.

the check in counter for cebu pac was very inorganized, there were several queues leading to one counter. the mamang guard was trying his very best to guide sweaty and noisy passengers. it seems the AC of this area of the airport is not working so well. this is my first trip after the pandemic and most passengers were a little bit frustrated, exhausted and excited with the blistering temps... hopefully, cebu pac will assign more crews to assist passengers. once you are in the waiting lounge, the beauty of the nimbus cumuluous clouds sitting on top of very green mountain range will relax ones eyes and soul. this is #small airport in the country-side, nothing fancy but you can pass by #bongbongs to sugar up the visit to the sugar capital of the Philippines! Mabuhay!

The vaccination card screening personnel are very efficient and courteous, it has shops, atm's, and the distance walked through the airbridge to the arrival waiting area is relatively short. A taxi hub is available nearby too. Their escalator, though, was under repair the last time I passed by it

The whole airport is quite small than other airports in the Philippines so it's quite easy to navigate. Upon arrival you'll just follow the stairs then you're out. For departure, it's the typical processes just follow the instructions or ask the guards on stand by.

I felt happy to see that they have toddler's nook but sad to say, my toddler wasn't able to play inside. The place was locked and the In-charge was assigned in a different job for the day. We have conversed with the In-charge and she is very polite though. She said that due to surge of guests she needed to help tend with the passengers in checking their travel requirements. If you have a toddler and the nook is locked, just ask for the staffs inside the terminal and they are eager to assist you. All of their staffs are polite and hospitable. They even told us to use the elevator for our ease. All in all, the airport is so so. The passenger's chairs in the gates aren't much clean some have rusts but there are utilities present mopping the floors. Kudos to you, Sirs!

Upon arrival from Manila, they look for a Valid ID, Vaccination Card and SPASS so it's very inprotant that you have your SPASS because it's one of the requirements there.

Flights here are just domestic so don't expect a lot of people waiting until late hours just like what I did last time. 😅 But they will still be accompanying you. Staffs here are caring, someone gave me a bottled water and something to sit on so that I won't get cold. 🙃

Less passenger during my flight. Also everyone is following 1 seat apart due to Covid

Not crowded at all. Small but clean. Employees are approachable. Arriving from Manila. Antigen test is necessary but it is free of charge and the result is in less than 15 minutes.
