There
are
two
main
beaches
in
Moalboal.
Locals
calls
it
basdaku
(big
sand)
and
basdiot
(little
sand),
the
world
knows
it
as
the
White
Beach
and
the
Panagsama
Beach
respectively.
The
White
Beach
or
"basdaku"
of
Moalboal,
as
both
its
proper
and
local
name
suggests,
is
known
for
its
pristine
white
sands
and
the
huge
area
it
covers
-
its
a
really
big
beach!
Even
when
there
are
hundreds
of
visitors
around,
it
doesn't
feel
crowded
cause
you
can
always
find
your
own
spot.
It
is
known
as
"white"
beach
and
not
"fine
white"
beach.
If
you're
expecting
its
sand
to
be
as
fine
as
that
of
Boracay,
Bohol,
or
even
Bantayan,
then
you
are
up
for
a
disappointment.
Though
it
may
not
have
the
finest
of
sands,
it
does
offer
the
most
captivating
of
sunsets.
Tip#1:
You
can
charter
a
tricycle
from
the
town
plaza
to
get
here
about
P150
for
the
entire
trip
(ask
the
tourism
office
for
update
of
fare).
It
would
take
about
15
to
30
mins
ride.
Tip#2:
To
access
the
beach,
you
can
drop
by
at
the
entrance
of
HK
Resort.
There's
no
entrance
fee.
Beware
of
scammers.
Tip#3:
Google
Maps
marker
is
misplaced.
Best
to
ask
the
locals
for
direction.
