Tickets:100 pesos Iloilo museum of contemporary art is an art museum full of avant-garde artistic atmosphere. Compared with ordinary artworks, the works here incorporate the author's ideas to express to the public. However, compared with other art galleries, there are not many works on display here, and it takes about 1 hour to finish visiting.

Nice place to appreciate local contemporary art. It' small but has lots of beautiful artworks. Place is air conditioned and within the Festive Mall area, so it's accessible. Regular entry fee for Filipinos is 150php.

This is a well maintained museum. They had a 3-floor exhibit. Entrance Fee is P150 as of November 2023. Enjoyed seeing art. Staff and guards are helpful.

I loved the exhibit! This place is worth checking out. There are three floors of wonderful contemporary art. The first two floor's exhibit changes every three months or over. Opening hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM.

The museum showcases contemporary art by local artists. The pieces draw from scenes of modern life, Philippine history, and nature. The 3rd floor honors Adoracion Valencia, a Humanities professor, who instilled love for the arts to her children. It features the personal collection of her son. I love the feel of the museum. The art pieces displayed are thoughtfully collected and presented. Interesting and beautiful collection.

100 pesos for regular visitor. Bag is required to be left at front desk. There is 2 floor exhibition which I enjoyed The place is clean and well maintained. It’s a nice place to spend 1 hour indoor to avoid sunlight.

My first museum here at Iloilo City and it is well curated. The museum is over-all amazing with various galleries that are sanctioned to magnify specific crafts and topics, my favourite being the Adoracion Gallery, wherein the mix of different dynamics of art plus the injection of pop-culture that not just pops color but also nationalistic messages. Kudos to the staff and the curators as well! Definitely, will be visiting with friends soon!

ILOMOCA displays great artworks. However, it would have been better if the staff will explain facts about those arts while you are having a tour around the place.

A nice place to visit in Iloilo. It's located in the Megaworld district so there are a lot of other places you can check out. There's a mall, lots of restaurants, and a public transport terminal nearby. I rode my bike from Avida towers so you have that option. There are bike parking spots within walking distance too which is nice. As for the exhibit itself, they have permanent displays on the upper floors. On the ground floor is a smaller space where they hold temporary exhibits so there's plenty to see. I liked the ambiance when I went there; not a lot of people so I was able to appreciate the collection.

The Iloilo museum of contemporary art is a MUST SEE in your itinerary when visiting iloilo. You will be happy you visited and appreciate the three stories of local artwork created by filipinos that donated to the museum. They offer a mixture of artwork (including oil paintings and canvas), sculptures and other interesting and interactive pieces things within. The entrance fare was affordable (it is an all-access entry fare) You can take many nice photos of the artwork within and outside also. The buildings design is very modern. The museum is located right next to the Festive Walk and K-Town area. Only wapking distance. It is recommended to take a Jeep to Festive Walk and then just walk by foot to the museum where you can enjoy.

It's not the Getty museum but it's nice. The work is solid but I have been to a lot of great museums and this is very small in comparison. As you would expect, there's no great works, here but they did a respectable job. Considering what their budget must have been , they did a great job.

A must see museum in Iloilo City. Amazing and beautiful art collection. You need to take time in seeing the art pieces. I spent 1 hour & 30 minutes (because we had to go) I think 2 hours would have been quite enough for me or more.

We didn't expect to have a dedicated contemporary museum in Iloilo. Truly a progressive city.

If you love art and you're in Iloilo, you must visit Ilomoca! They have a couple of galleries and the exhibits when I visited were really amazing!

Not so much display on masterpieces and they collect 150 pesos entrance fee which is not worthy for me compared to other museums I've been to.

Visited the wrong time. The museum’s second floor was on renovation on a Friday. The receptionist didn’t even told me that. Luckily there were good pieces at the 3rd floor. The museum itself is somehow new, very clean and spacious enough. Make sure to ask if all floors are open for viewing when you visit here. Php100 entrance, decent pricing.

The name of this place truly lived up to its meaning. A museum of Contemporary Art. Every art work truly connects with you. I love how the place is curated and how every art piece is highlighted. We took a few picture on the first floor (for souvenir) but we stopped taking it as we explore the upper floor of the building. It is true that some things are more beautiful when you look at it through God-made pair of lenses, our eyes.

In this place, you can find the most important medium art of Filipino artists in our country. Gives a lot of symbols and heavy emotions to the arts. It also inspires the people who see it especially the people who attend this place.

The arts presented are different and one of a kind.. must visit place...

One of a kind museum in Iloilo City, Philippines. Houses private collections of a prominent Ilonggo to share his love of arts to his fellow Ilonggos. Located in a trendy part of the city where a new mall and restaurants are within walking distance.

The museum is really amazing and it shows authentic local masterpieces. I appreciate the details and it's a pride to witness the various expressions of local artists through Art. Surely will visit again and will recommend the museum to others. ❤️✨

This is a bucket list achievement for me, i always wanted to visit this place but because of schedule conflict i was not able to do so. But today it's "bucket list achieved", as expected the artistry of Filipinos especially the Antiqueños are showcased. You can see the work of arts of the artist in the ground floor free of charge, no entrance fee, for the 2nd and 3rd floor you have to pay but in a minimal cost and it's indeed worth it. Try to visit this place and you will be surprise how talented people in Western Visayas are.

I have visited quite a number of museums and it really is one of the modern ones. It features new talents and unique techniques. The fee they collect is reasonable. Camera is prohibited at the second level but then, it is worth visiting if you are in Iloilo.

The Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art, ILOMOCA, has 3 floors of a wide range of carefully curated, thought provoking, wonderful art work from Filipino masters and young artists (senior high school in the 2nd floor when I visited). It's also conveniently located, tickets are great value (PHP 100, 50 for students), and has neighboring cafe and even the interesting Brandy Museum next door. Worth a morning's trip and a good couple of hours inside to explore the collection.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to my birth city's first contemporary art museum... three floors of amazing collections of work from Ilonggo, Filipino and international artists including Joan Miro and Chagall! I could easily spend hours here looking at all the pieces! Entrance fees are at $2 (100 pesos) only but photography is not allowed in the 2nd and 3rd levels. There's a gallery downstairs with a changing exhibition and a small museum shop, although the shop is a bit boring and lacks oomph, to be honest. Nevertheless, this place should be added on your list when visiting Iloilo.

There are lovely local art pieces through out the museum. Most pieces have a small placard that explains a little of their history. It's definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.

entrance is free.. next to a mall.. place is well kept & small..it has a winery tasting area for a price

  • 4/5 Paul Frederick C. 6 years ago on Google
Entrance Fee: P100.00 (Senior citizen and Student discounts available) Love the place, a much needed upgrade to the art and culture scene in Iloilo. The ambiance is classy and refined. I do not understand why photography is limited only to the lobby but not inside the galleries amf also the check-in on all the bags even small ones. Also their entrance procedure needs to be improved for better efficiency
