Father's day special, entrance fee was free. It's definitely not a zoo. Some endangered species and found animals within negros are in this park. The place is clean and spacious. They have various of animals including wild ones. All are caged except for the pythons because they have their own "house box". Kids will enjoy and learn something here. 👌

If you happen to be here on bacolod, please visit and see the lovely animals. They're open Tuesday- Sunday 9:00 AM- 5:00PM. Entrance fee for adults is 100 pesos. You'll see various kinds of birds including some endangered species. The facility still needs improvement (recovering from pandemic).

Conservatory and a sanctuary in the city of Bacolod. Good to see a place that is being maintained by foundations for our future generation to see and appreciate the beauty of the different animals they have here. Recommended for all ages. Ramps are also available for PWDs.

The place was well-maintained. I didn't see any garbage, and the animals were in their respective cages. The trip was informative too, because the guide was friendly and told us facts about some animals they personally take care of and even let us hold them. The entrance fee was worth it. I'll definitely go back soon. Thank you! :)

Do include this place when you visit Bacolod. Entrance fee is Php 100.00 per person (I think its used to maintain the place and its a way to help the animals adopted and taken care here). You can see different species of birds (mostly), from different parts of the Philippines, there are also other animals such as variants of lizards, wild pig, monkey, deer, and others. This a non-stock, non-profit corporation, so let’s help them, and help them spread the word, that they are indeed in need of help.

This is a wonderful place to visit! Every time we visit Bacolod we make sure to drop by. Filled with a range of animals that are only found in the visayas.

This is a great place to tour your kids to raise awareness on how to take care of the environment, and the animals. With the development now in Bacolod, I do hope that this institution will stay, and let my future grand kids see this wonderful place.

(Translated by Google) Small space dedicated to the protection of animals that looks a lot like a zoo. Interesting. Few animals but the healers are really passionate.a see if you are near the capitol. (Original) Petit espace dédié à la protection des animaux qui ressemble beaucoup à un zoo. Intéressant. Peu d'animaux mais les soigneurs sont vraiment passionnés.a voir si vous êtes près du capitol.

The unknown pearl in Bacolod. What they do here is super important and I wish more people knew about this place. Amazing guide and super nice place to visit if you have a couple of hours to spare to learn about the endangered species of Philippines.

A great place to visit, a must. What the name doesn't say, it's really a zoo for local species, we'll maintained and with decent cages for the animals, not like in some other local zoos. You can even have your coffee in the company of a giant snake

A well maintain zoo in the heart of Bacolod. The Negros Forest Park Biodiversity Conservation Center have well maintain structures for endemic plants and animals. If you are looking for endemic trees, do not hesitate to inquire inside the park to bring home your very own. They also have several lectures during our visit.

The most convenient way to see up close the most enchanting, beautiful and severely endangered species of the Phil. Some of my faves- baboy talonon (visayan warty pig), badlitan (negros bleeding heart pigeon), tularik (visayan tarictic hornbill), agila (south phil hawk eagle) and the oriental dollarbird. You can also find some rescued eagles there. Afterwards, get some souvenir items, donate and help them to "keep their hearts beating" 🦅🐦🦉

Negros Forest Park is dedicated to the conservation of endangered and endemic animals. It has been home to 47 species of wildlife and one of the last remaining green spaces in the city. If you want to know how to take care of the animals and feed them, you can volunteer.

This place a must visit when in Bacolod. An underrated place, needs more promotion and awareness. Since, the entrance doesn't give you the feel that this place is open to the public and has animals in it. The government should help maintain this place. This is not your typical zoo. For this place only houses endemic and endangered species that can only be found in the Visayas region. It's an animal conservation site and you can adopt animals. The place is bigger than what I have expected. For a 100 pesos, you do not only see these animals but you also contributed in maintaining their home and feeding them as well.

  • 5/5 John O. 5 years ago on Google
Its not a zoo but a sanctuary for endangered species.... you also have option to adopt an animal for a year. This place deserves government support! If you are animal lover you will get hooked here.

Recommended to raise awareness on what we are losing if we continue to disregard our environment.

The place is an ideal place to learn about animals which are endangered. It has a conservation center which houses some of the endangered and endemic species of Negros-Panay Faunal Region.

I hope the people of Negros and the whole Philippines would support our forests and our wildlife. You can visit this place to see different species of birds and wildlife. It's located in the heart of bacolod, a place where you can experience nature despite the loud buzz of the city.
