One of the best parks I have been to. Though this place is a little bit crowded, people tend to distance themselves.

This park is one of the best parks I've ever visited in Bacolod, even in the Philippines. It is greatly maintained and public works keep cleaning it. It is a crowded place and is a great place to hang out with friends. There are several chess players here that might be gambling though. During fiestas and significant events in the city, at nights there are small stalls that are established here like food stalls, souvenir shops, etc. It holds other concerts too. A place fit to be called a park.

I find it bigger park area than the one in my hometown. The statues and fountain provide a memorable classy accent to it. The trees and tiled walkway are a plus. When i first saw it, i thought it to be unique. No doubt in the heart of Bacolod. Just walking distance to cathedral and more. Bacolod is definitely one for the books.for.me!

Aside from the bandstand, the plaza is known for its lovely paving. This is in a classical curved checkerboard pattern in black and white. The plaza is one of the less maintained but cleanest and most peaceful plaza in the Philippines.

Pretty good for the size of our town. It's well patrolled during events and it seems like there is always something going on. I also go there during brownouts occasionally because the trees keep it cool.

We arrived at Bacolod during the night on March 2017. We went to this plaza and the church. This place is magical. It's giving me an English vibe. We then strolled around the city and tried their barbecue. Yum!

I wish we have this in our city. 😞 Bacolod Public Plaza has everything! You can have a whole body massage here! A Mani-Pedi for only 180 pesos! And you can have your shoes πŸ‘ž sandals πŸ‘‘ repaired here. In one corner, you can see elder people conversing/debating about different religious topics. In the other, kids are playing and having so much fun. Just a simple fun place to People-Watch.❀️

Considered the heart of the city of smiles, the Bacolod public plaza has nothing to smile about. While I understand that renovations are necessary from time to time, it is a shame that the plaza is not being rebuilt properly. The lack of seating or shade makes it uncomfortable to spend any length of time in the area. It is clear that little consideration is given to the needs of visitors during the renovation process.

It is evident that the local authorities take pride in preserving the plaza's natural beauty, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and unwinding.

The shady tree areas, green park, people's seats need to be improved. Plants have to be cultivated and propagated. A lot of areas smell pee. Some pet poops along way too. Need proper maintenance and cleaning.
