Amazing walk thru an almost untouched forested volcanic area. Our guide was laid back and very friendly. We enjoyed the water at the bottom of 2 of the 3 falls we saw. Nice and cool water on a day that was close to 40ยฐ outside. The walk was amazing, I saw some flowers that I had never seen before, especially in Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ, where I'm from.

Mt. Kanlaon is the highest peak in the Visayas. It is also one of the most active volcanoes in the country. This mountain is not a walk in the park, but it is manageable especially when you go prepared and with the right people. The experience was fun. Cool weather, nice campsite, awesome view. This is one of the best sea of clouds Iโ€™ve witnessed. And knowing that its an active volcano, the hike was filled with thrill and excitement! Ahhhh the beauty of nature.

Is a nice place to relax hiking or just enjoy nature. Waterfalls that invite you to swim. The temperatures here are always pleasant and not too hot like at the sea. good days to visit are the week days when it's not as crowded and quiet. The weekend is going on like everywhere

7.5 hour drive in a three wheel Bajaj from Dumaguete. Disappointed that the volcano was shrouded in clouds. The volcano was the main reason we went. We did the hike to the waterfalls and jumped into the refreshingly cold water. The WF's were pretty cool. Very picturesque. Our guide (required) Ann Marie was very nice. The road from National highway was pretty twisted and windy but thankfully pothole and construction free. All in all a great place to visit if you are in the area. There are a lot of waterfalls closer to Dumaguete without the 7 hour ride.

The scenery was spectacular! The fresh air and the waterfall. But if people didn't play the loud music, it would be better.

These are the best 3 falls located at Mt. Kanlaon. Amazing experienced we had upon seeing these majestic and breathtaking view. You'll walk a long miles and will feel tired but eventually will disappear when you see it face to face, the water were so cold and refreshing, the people there were so accommodating and very nice. You'll surely love it if you are an adventurous kind of person who is a nature lover and love to chase water falls. Best itinerary to get away together with your love ones and either plans for soul searching. TO GO LIST indeed! <3

Beautiful place to get in touch with nature. When going here drive straight to the visitor's lodge. Get a guide to show you the nearby waterfalls and scenic spots. Go early to fully experience the fog, the river, and the hike.

if you want to swim here don't come when it's raining because it gets really cold๐Ÿฅถ but if you are a cold type of person and you want to test your limits especially in cold springs you can try if you want to

We took the La Carlota route because the bridge at the Ma-ao route is under repair, plus the road is less uphill climb for the vehicle. The locals are very friendly and accomodating, there eateries serving meals, have your raw meats or seafoos cooked by the locals for a fee. Mobile phone signal is very poor, most areas do not have network coverage but it gives you time to disconnect from the busy lifestyle of the city and connect with nature. Water from the spring is potable too. You need to register as you arrive.
