Absolutely the worst meal I have had in the Philippines. The roast beef was that chewy that I could not eat it Who puts potato chips on a roast meal? Will not be coming back ever

When it comes to fish and seafoods, there is no other place to go but here. They have a wide variety of choices on the way you want your fish, shrimps, shells, crabs, etc to be cooked. From grill, steam, fry and more.

Classy inside, good service, good internet and great food! Special batchoy is only served 2PM-5PM so plan ahead. The Japanese restaurant next door has a cross restaurant agreement so you can order food from them in 21 and vice versa.

I think when you’re in Bacolod this place is a must (Batchoy and Filipino fusion dishes) . But sometimes they’re inconsistent with their dishes and even their rice now is not good. 21 , please use a good quality rice.

Seriously? Mandarin salad with chicken. But the chicken is only 3 small cubes of chicken for 210php! Seriously. Tsk tsk. Super not worth it!

Best batchoy ever. You can order extra broth, if you ran out of it. Portions are enough for one person, but might overwhelm a few. :) Cozy place. Courteous staff. 😍

Loved the place! Upon entering you will feel that it is a fancy restaurant. Very cozy and spacious. I also loved that you'll order raw seafoods and they'll cook it for you in the viands of your choice. Food is also great here, they cook pretty well. Very tasty! Plus the location is very accessible.

We visited the place on a Friday at 8:00. There was only one table occupied. But i believe that's because at this time, the Masskara Festival just opened so the people were there. At around 9:00 before we left, the place started to fill. We were looking for seafood so we trued this. For the 4 dishes, unlimited juice, and rice we paid Php 1500. I'd say this is mid range in terms of budget. Shrimp was a bit on the bland side while the scallops and chopsuey is on the salty side. The crabs were perfect. But I think that's up to personal preference. Service was fast, they also let you select your crabs and fish. Great place! The server was also kind enough to recommend dishes.

My family love it. Because of the seafood menu. I don't eat seafood so for me I have to stick to chicken here. If you ask me what this place need I will say it need hand washing liquid and paper towel in the bathroom for the customers

A nice seafood paluto restaurant. Spacious, interior is really good. They have airconditioned dining area, albeit small compared to their main dining area. The main dining area is big; lot of tables available, not too cramped, and it's an open area, so it doesn't feel stuffy. The paluto selection is a bit limited, nonetheless, their food tastes great. They also have desserts that the staff offers around. You can get it from them instead of going back to the ordering area. The waiters/waitress and staff are friendly, and they look really slick and clean with their uniform. They have parking area around the restaurant.

Very good cooking skills. Grilled and fried food weren't overdone. Good service, very reasonable price. Some of the seafood, choices could have been a bit fresher, but overall, my friends and I weren't pleasantly surprised. Down to earth place. Worth trying.

Beware of uncooked chicken skewers. Was shocked to find last piece mostly uncooked (see pic). Glad feel ok after eating other pieces. Although they were bland and chicken pieces looked processed with fillers. Teriyaki sauce was bad. Waiter recommended skewers over other dishes I asked about. At least waiter asked manager to remove this dish from bill and gave chocolate cake free as a gesture. Glad cake was good. Pasta dish (see pic) was not good either. Shame quality of food is not better as restaurant appears to be nicely decorated and wait staff attentive.

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Bacolod city. Adobo flakes (instructed chef to cook it crispy) was very delicious. 21 batchoy soup is their signature dish must try. Also had the pork chop ala Bicol express! Food is priced very reasonable for the quality your getting.

The batchoy is still the best even better than Iloilo's. Could have given them better rating but for the service. Missed the days when the waiters know you personally. Service needs to improve! After a month, since my last review, the service has'nt improve. It's a pity because their food is quite good.

BAR 21--- ah the memories. This restaurant used to be a major disco bar in the 90s but now the Aranetas and Gamboas reinvented the bar and made it into a fine dining restaurant. Good move boyz. This place is a must try if your in Bacolod. Its a blending of European American cuisine, fused with filipino and Chinese tastes. Try the famous Bar 21 -Batchoy. A hearty soup served with a mix of liver and bone marrow. Its a total negrenses culinary experience.

This is One of the more popular seafood restaurants in Bacolod City. They have been at the top for years so expect excellent Food and Service here. Enjoy good Filipino Food here and seafood dishes. We had grilled fish, chicken inasal, KBL (Kadios Baboy Langka), prawns, and more in my latest visit. Expect to go home with a happy tummy everytime you visit this restaurant.

I don't want to put down a business like this, but I have to say the truth, I came to the restaurant at about 5:00 pm, I ordered a tangigue fish to be grilled, I waited for almost 25 minutes waiting, I call a waiter and asked for what I ordered, at last somebody following him has it. I started eating, bùt it's already too cold, I call them and requested to be reheated. I'm so mad that while waiting so long, the food I ordered is just getting cold in the kitchen, I was just consoled when a lady asked me if I'm ok if she gives me water. So I said ok but I think they know that I'm already so desperate. Thats my experience there, I hope the management will do the right thing. PS , dont be harsh to your employee, nobody is perfect.

KBL was yum, chicken binakol was good but, we didn’t like the pochero which had a weird smell to it, I ordered it for my kids thinking they will love it (like they always did at home) but, to my surprise they didn’t. So, everyone tried the pochero and thought it was a little bit “off”. Sent it back. I don’t know what happened but, they said it was due to the ripe plantain🤔. Maybe. They did exchange it with something else which was alright. (SM branch)

I suuuuper love this place❤️ Their name is true because their food is indeed comforting. KBL is a must try but also every other item in the menu. Always enjoy having my lunch here as it is affordable and well worth it. The service is also fast, and the staffs are nice and friendly which is always a must for food establishments. It’s also clean and neat and you don’t have to worry about sticky tables. Overall, a must go to when in the city of Bacolod☺️👍🏻

Place & environment was enjoyable. The waiters must be thorough with the menus. Maybe others won't find it as a problem. But as a foreigner we were confused at the beginning, because the fishes were not familiar with us. Later on after we already ordered they bring the menu list. Food was delicious all the way. The food was served on time. Overall, good place to eat seafoods.

Consistently delicious. Been going to Pala Pala when it was just a little wet market type place back in '03? '06?where it was the after hours spot where you get the freshest seafood cooked fresh. 18th street was a happy addition/revision. Same fresh seafood but now with an air-conditioned space. Fave in bacolod. I've never had anything bad here. Service, food, all perfect.

Situated across the street from a tree-canopy shaded Andres Bonifacio monument beside a Gabaldon building, this restaurant enjoys a relatively light traffic unlike the nearby Lacson Street. The seafood fare it offers is at par with the humble pala-pala eatery near the Capitol but its spacious dining areas - the air-conditioned and open-air halls - designed and furnished to taste sets it apart from the latter. I happened to dine here for the first time coincidentally during its 20th anniversary and I saw the big crowd, evidence of its clientele that made this restaurant get this far.

Food was awesome! The place is quite pricey, but it was worth it. The sweet and chili crab was great. It had the right mix of savory, sweetness, and with just about the right kick. The Calamares is a classic one, you just can’t go wrong with it. It comes with the usal mayo dip. The butter shrimp is another classic. It’s really good. Baked scallops is also good. Pricier than in other places in Bacolod but just as good. We also had a nice fish sinigang. The sour and umami taste goes well with rice. We also had grilled pork and barbecue which were surprisingly good and perfectly goes with atchara (pickled papayas). All of these go well with garlir rice or plain rice. This place packs in the flavor for a not so hefty price. Also, they have al fresco and indoor dining options. Worth your time, money, and tummy space.

I visited around 3pm and the place was empty -- just as I liked it. Food is good but I got a bill shock. I spent 700+ on my food which is pricey for this part of the country. Will return with friends though.
