How can you not love this restaurant? Food is so nice. Ambiance is wonderful amd homey. The seating space is thight and therefore not convenient when waiters have to reach over the table in front of you, but anyway, that could be improved. The food is well seasoned, right flavour, and as decently expected for the kind/type of dish. The sweets are all good. Churos for the win.

Staff was not the best on that day, had to remind them 3 times for a glass of ice for my coke and not enough smiles! Food is always great when we go there! Owner or manager is very nice and friendly!

Ordered before we came and they accommodated us. From ushering us to our table until we thanked them, the staff members did a great job! We had ox tongue, kare kare and chicken relleno as our mains and all of them were superb! Delicious food with great ambience and excellent customer service. María Kucina is still a very special restaurant in terms of settings, decoration, garden and diversity. But in terms of cuisine it has lowered its meals presentation and, more importantly, the taste of the food, not so delicious as before. It's a great pity. Pizzas can't be considered as delicious and crispy, pasta choice is really narrowing, forget about asking for a spaghetti, it doesn't exist. This restaurant is still a hot spot in Bacolod but its reputation might suffer if the management doesn't care about coming back to its standards. The waiters are really good if trained properly, on this there is still room for being better. Hope management would take my remarks into consideration.

The ambiance feels like the traditional old negrense mansions. The food and service are great but i think some plates should be replaced. The whole presentation was good except for some plates with chipped corners.

It is elegant, simple, and beautiful. I really like their food and the value for money. They have one of the best garlic spareribs in town! Delicious drinks also. I had their watermelon slush and I really enjoyed it.

We just ate at the Maria Kucina Familia with the family. The food are excellent, I couldn't nitpicked at all because they all taste good even the pizza. The crew are very respectful and tend to your needs especially when you want something or to follow your orders. They also abide the protocol which is by wearing face mask and observing social distancing. All in all, I would give 5 stars, I'm very much satisfied.

Maria Kucina was booked to cater for our house blessing on Friday evening. The deadly typhoon forced this to be postponed on Thursday for 4 days till Tuesday evening. Maria Kucina set up tables and chairs, crockery & cutlery, and their 8 course meal after 2:30pm. Staff to serve and one to carve a roasted pig we added independently. Our 60+ guests loved the quality of the menu served. The evening went flawlessly. I can highly recommend Maria Kusina as caterers. Superb performance! Big success! Thank you all.

BAD EXPERIENCE eating here. In the parking lot, when we're supposed to leave. A bystander tried to help assist the car getting out of the gate, it was unneeded as there was a Guard helping. When we were out of the premises that same person came running and CURSING at us. Asking for money and he won't take a low amount of money. He might damage the car if we won't pay him. We eat in your restaurant, and that person was in your area. Had a terrible experience and my family who was there with me are terrified. 😠😠👎👎

A beautiful place, lots of Spanish/Filipino house type ambience. Very classy, but not at all pretentious, they were very kind to my kids. The food was excellent too, lots of well crafted dishes, even Spanish style native hot chocolate like they have in Manila. The best part, it was very reasonably priced.

Amazing food. Great atmosphere. I enjoyed the Calzone. The Pepper Steak was incredible. The Quesositos were also really good. If you like choclate cake try the decadent caramel slice.

We dined and we got serve. Food was great except for the soup appetizer which was like a soup I tasted from a hospital which is so bland. Service was good, crew was coming back and fort, kind of annoyed me a bit but it could be improved. Costs is expensive but still reasonable. They don't have private function rooms so you have to share the whole room with other guests. We ordered a lot of food coz we're so many as in like like 20 people☺️☺️☺️ We ordered crispy pata, spare ribs, kare2, glazed chicken, some bunch of nachos, sizzling bangus and more. I also like the birthday cake. I took some picture of the food they serve just check it out.

Tried the place for dinnertime, and the only thing that bothered me slightly was the way the servers looked at us like they were rushing to clean the place. It was around 10pm and we understood that they were getting last orders but when we went out of the room there were lots of people still enjoying their meals. Food is good, and ambiance is nice as always. Quaint and worth the wait.

Lovely restaurant with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, very attentive service and really tasty food!

Ambiance was great, food was so so. We ordered Chorizo Hamonado which was good, but the Adobo Flakes and Belgian Waffles were very dry. We had a hard time eating the adobo flakes but it was straining to eat. Putting more vinegar moistened it but the vinegar wasn't that well seasoned either. And they also forgot to serve the egg alongside the adobo flakes. The Belgian Waffles took too long to be served but upon serving, it was dry and not even freshly made. I hope they improve their breakfast food to make up for the good ambiance.

A very homey and family-friendly place. The food and service are excellent! The indoor tables were fully booked when we got there, so we had to settle for the al fresco garden but the place was still beautiful and even exceeded our expectations. Will definitely come back and next time we’ll make sure to make reservations. Hahaha

This restaurant is close to the Main Street of the city. There’s ample parking space and security. The interiors are nice, and there’s a small garden to eat at if you want some fresh air. The food is always great. There are lots of option available, and they have desserts too. The price is more than the average in Bacolod but well worth it. Service is also good.

The place is really nice. We attended an event so the food was served banquet style. Prettu good food. The function room has a dedicated toilet, too. It's a big restaurant that can hold simultaneous small to medium events. This is one of the nicer Bacolod restaurants. Lots of plants and artful decor.

Breakfast on Sundays after a quick jog. Spanish-ilonggo cuisine with recipes passed down from generation to generation. This is Maria Kucina. Try their Spanish Sardines if your having breakfast or their Callos Con Garbanzos for dinner. It does not disappoint. 😀

Spareribs is okay... But the ambiance and the mood is ancestral, warm and welcoming. Servers are very polite and gracious.

This place is one of the best restaurants in Bacolod. If ever you're visiting the city of smiles, do come and try this restaurant. First thing I notice is how the staff are accommodating and courteous. They easily anticipate your needs and for me, this is experience in a food place is a must. Second, the food is really great. You really do get the value for your money. Their SEAFOOD PIZZA is to die for. Make sure you try it. Lastly, the place is quaint with a touch of modern design. We opted for the open air table beside the koi pond. It set the mood for our date and made my girlfriend really happy. Thank you Maria!

Me and my wife were very disappointed with the steak. I ordered a medium and obviously it was a frozen block of meat before it hit the pan. Other foods ordered didn't met our expectations. Nothing exceptional with this place. Not coming back.

Just visited my friends, but love to try the food soon.
