A very easy-going cafe. The interior is clean and cool with a small garden view. The overall ambiance of the cafe makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Great for talks with friends over a drink. Food and drinks were great. The quantity of the food was generous for its price too. Prices are affordable. They offer Thai tea flavors and it was above-average quality. Service is good too! Waiters are attentive and very friendly.

Sharyn's cansi hous is a good place to be with family. It's been around for decades. Staffs are friendly but not that too accommodating as you'd expect from most top restaurants. If you want to dine within a cool place, then this is not the place for you as there is no air conditioning and only uses huge fans; temperature is so hot especially at lunch time. My latest experience there was not so good as we noticed that they are selling maybe what's left of the previous days meats. It's still acceptable to eat but the freshness is not there. Also watch out for the prices, before you order I advise to ask for the price first maybe your budget is not that flexible because the prices of their products are very high.

Ohhh yes my favorite since 1990s from when it was only P45 peso per serving now its P390 per bowl. Adjudged as one of the top 10 soups in the Philippines (the likes of bulalo in Cebu and some others) Sharyns Kansi house definitely stands out. They use batwan to sour the soup, batwan is a local ingredient abundantly found here in Bacolod, the marrows are pressured cook into perfection without destroying its form, you can choose from "puno" or "lapos" when you order. The serving is good for 3. "Ohh i love the rainy days and the happy days"

Update: still sooo goood. Gambas is divine. Buttered chicken is a must-try. The second floor function hall is perfect for intimate celebrations with your closest family and friends. This was supposed to be a must-visit place for me pre-pandemic but I just had the time to finally visit it and it did not disappoint. Going to the place can be a little bit taxing since it's tucked away in the middle of the east road but the the experience is more than worth it. The food is great and that's an understatement. We had onion rings for starters and it's crunchy but light batter paired with their ketchup-based dip is finger-licking good. We ordered their special fried rice which can be shared and is really good and can be paired with any main dish. We had bicol express and calamares since we were hungry and opted to order our personal favorites. The serving is for sharing and the food is well-prepared and well-plated. The taste is fantastic, it matches with the good facade and interior of the cafe. It's not all bells and whistles, they serve great food! We also had lasagna which was also good and can really fill you up. We definitely will be going back to try their best sellers. They practice minimum health protocols and the staff were friendly and polite. The waiting time for the food can be a bit long but great food really takes time to prepare.

Its ok. But, you have to try both Sharyns cansi & nearby Erons cansi to judge... for me Erons cansi is better.. but the beef floss of sharyns is a must try!

The best kansi in Bacolod :) The blend of beef broth and batwan was perfect that you don't even have to add the usual PCS trio (patis calamansi sili) to your sabaw. I've read reviews about rude/judgemental staff but we did not experience it. The owner was kind enough to have a chat with us and even served our food. The space may get crowded during lunch so make sure to be there at an earlier time. One serving is priced at 390 pesos good for 2-4 persons. If you're used to unli tawad sabaw, theirs is limited and you can only get an one cup of soup per person as additional.

My family opted to dine here for the first time since it's just near our place. My mom ordered Kare-kare and according to her it was delicious. It's a plus because my mom has almost always criticized food but this one she complimented. My brother ordered Shrimp Pizza and it was just so-so. I ordered gambas and I was disappointed. I can find no shrimp except for 4 shrimp heads. My mom even thought it was a different dish. The shrimps were utterly durog. (See actual picture) We ordered Mango Shake. We had to remind the waiter again and again and it was delivered a bit late because we already finished our meal. The place wasn't even packed when we were there. Overall, not gonna go back unless for convenience sake.

We absolutely love the place! The people working here are very respectful and polite. The food plating is gorgeous, portions are generous and is tastes so GOOD! And the price is just right! We would definitely visit this place again for a meal or a snack!

Best cansi ever especially the crispy cansi

My friends and I really love the place! We visit every time we get the chance to head east! Food is superb! We never got to meet the chef but we always give compliments! Service is amazing too! The place got a very cozy ambiance especially when you go late in the afternoon or early in the evening. Note: They are one of the few places in Bacolod that got their blends right! 100/10 Yasss! COFFEE is oh sooo good! Have varieties when you order with friends! Good-to-know in advance: The parking spaces are limited. If you have a car, good luck! Maybe come during a weekday so it's not so crowded.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Its a lot neater than some other food/coffee stops I have been in. It appeals because its tidy, clean and has an aroma of good coffee. Garden area is small, secluded and well maintained. I'll add photos later because I intend to go back. Frequently.

It’s a great place with good options for food. You also get your money’s worth in here because their food is amazing. The interiors are nice and the glass walls all around is such a nice touch to this place. The staffs are very friendly and are very quick in serving your food. Only problem I have here is everytime we visit here in the late afternoon, the aircon would be turn off and the electric fan is the only one left to ventilate the whole space which ends up being pretty hot.

You cant brag that youve been to Bacolod unless you tasted sharyns cansi soup. One bowl can satisfy two or three hungry people. Best eaten with red chili pepper

Cansi is good but needs bit more spice. Meat is tender and marrow on every order. Price is abit pricey as the portion was smaller compared to other places. Place is a bit old and the fans is not quite enough to cool down, wish there as AC. Overall not bad on rainy wheather, and i liked the home cooked side orders as well.

Their signature dish - Cansi is at 395 Php per bowl which consists of beef meat and marrow (known as "utok" in Negros). Extra servings of the soup can be requested. Various Negrense dishes are sold, desserts are also available witg prices ranging from 85 Php to 150 Php. The restaurant is clean and service is fast. There are comfort rooms at the farther back of the restaurant.

The kansi was very legit. You could tell that it was prepared with effort and made perfect by years of experience. We were lucky enough to meet the owner and got to chat with her. This place is very much recommended. Don't leave Bacolod without trying it at least once.
