All the food we ordered was really good. Loved their sisig and baked scallops 😋

Our lunch here took 30-40mins to serve the meals. Meals was okay. Serving is not that big. Good for 2-3 people depending on the dish. Also, Car Entrance has an abrupt high slope with deep sidewalk gutter and thick asphalt. It will scrape sedans if not approached diagonally and carefully. Do not enter if you drive a lowered car or a sports car.

The food was very good but the price kinda caught us off guard. When we went there, we were the only customers so it seemed kinda gloomy.

First time to try this restaurant since I moved back here from Chicago two years ago, and at the original location at that. The place was packed when we got there, a very good first impression, but we got the table marked "Reserved," probably for somebody else. Food was really delicious and was served hot, easy on the bite, fresh, not overcooked and no signs of being reheated. I enjoyed the crispy Cebuano adobo, the traditional Cebu adobo which brought nostalgia of my lola's home cooking. Utan bisaya should have been the perfect pair but we opted for the mongo soup, which really didn't taste traditional to me. Otherwise the Bicol express and the ngohiong were on point. The staff was courteous, attentive and helpful.

Used function room for a baptism reception. Has a few different size rooms.This restaurant has been here for years,has air conditioning, the food is traditional philippine and delicious. Would definitely recommend for functions or going for lunch or dinner.

The place was really old and outdated. Good thing is it airconditioned. The location was convenient. The food was good, but not great, nothing special, something that you would not crave of. Also, less serving for a platter meal. Overall experience, good but dint think will go back anytime soon.

The ambiance is very relaxing. It's the best restaurant if you wish to have serenity and peaceful vibes. 🥰

The price is a bit steep now for a Filipino Restaurant, but everything is rising in terms of basic commodities so its understandable

It is no longer a Golden Cowley, but a sister restaurant. The menu is totally different from before. And no matter what dish you order, there are always missing items! The food here tastes okay,although there were no dishes I wanted to eat.

If you want some Authentic Yummy Filipino food...this is the place to eat. Every dish is delicious. Very cordial staff. Ample Parking space.

Good food at reasonable prices but dismal service. GC needs to improve their system to make sure that every table is promptly attended to. Nevertheless, I'll be willing to visit the place again. 😊

I experienced the worst service in Golden Cowrie in Cebu City. We are forgiving of the lack of staff (given pandemic challenges) but we do not deserve being treated with outright display of apathy. We were ignored. They forgot orders (because they did not note it). And, it took almost 1 hour to get our order (if we did not follow up, it would have probably taken longer). It wasn’t a pleasant dining experience.

The foods are still great. The named used now is Hukad as it a group of companies together with Golden Cowrie. Service crew is attentive

Food tastes good and price is reasonable. They have vegetarian options. Tonight we had their vegetarian sisig which is a mix of tofu, sikwa, eggplants, shitake mushrooms and chickpeas and we also had Bicol express. Both tastes yummy. Service is fast and friendly. It's a good place for big groups, families and friends.

I like the spin of Golden Cowrie on native Pinoy dishes. The problem was, a lot of them were much too salty, especially the monggo. Maybe it was just that night. But I do like how they designed their dishes.

food is not good. not what i expected. ordered shrimp gambas but their version is very odd, not sizzling but omelette! crispy dinugan doesnt even taste like pigs blood. service is good. ambiance is nice and clean.

Great place for Filipino food if you’re craving some plus you get unlimited white rice. I’m more of a garlic rice fan. They have some yummy vegetarian dishes too like this nangka dish and the adobong Kang kong. Also price wise it doesn’t hurt you wallet.

For the first time that we ate at this type of restaurant would be very awkward, honestly we're not used to it, especially when all the people will look at you from thw time you enter up until sit down to your table. The place is big,at that time the full place was open. We ordered seafood kare2x and sinigang with rice and juices. We waited for like 10-15 minutes.Drinks were served early then the dishes. I'm not sure if my tongue would taste their food as bland but don't know. The sinigang was fine but the pork in it was only few it was like 4pcs. LOL. The air conditioner was too low and the service crew are not that accomodating. I think my score would be justifiable. Maybe for others they would like it but for me the value of my money is not worth it.

3.5 Great place for Filipino grub with a helpful smiling staff. Chili chicken tasty but not crispy. Fried pork belly tasty. Garlic rice amazing, not unlimited like the white rice. The mango salad was a huge NoNo for us, not you’re typical Thai style salad at all, they put fermented shrimp in this and we had one taste and pushed it aside. We came out full and paid 950 pesos. 👌 *food takes a bit long to come out 😬

Our group got a private room for dinner here and it was a wonderful time for us. The place was classy with elegant lighting but even if you arrive in your shorts and tee-shirt, you will still feel comfortable here. Food is class A from taste to presentation. Service is excellent. Also a great place to take your out-of-town guests to. Foreigners will find this a great place to get to know Filipino cuisine.
