Stayed
here
during
the
MassKara
Festival
2023;
the
elevator
was
unavailable
because
there
was
an
art
installation
at
the
ground
floor.
Fortunately,
we
got
rooms
on
the
3rd
floor.
The
location
was
quite
convenient
(near
SM,
Manokan
Country,
church,
and
the
plaza).
However,
it
was
not
that
accessible
by
taxi
or
GrabCar
because
the
road
in
front
was
just
one-way.
Sometimes
we
chose
to
be
dropped
off
in
the
nearby
corner
to
prevent
a
longer
drive
around
the
block.
Rooms
were
large
but
basic.
The
TV
had
no
reception
even
if
there
was
cable/TV
box.
The
A/C
was
functioning
well.
Some
parts
of
the
floor
were
greasy
but
there
was
no
floor
mat
to
wipe
it
off.
The
bathroom
did
not
have
a
bad
smell
but
the
water
pipes
did
(upon
opening
the
shower
after
a
long
time).
Drinking
water
was
provided
for
every
floor
guests
through
water
dispensers
near
the
stairwell.
Breakfast
was
included
in
our
booking,
which
was
the
usual
Filipino
fare
of
viand,
fried
egg,
and
fried
rice.
Coffee
costs
extra.
Skip
the
corned
beef;
some
of
my
friends
who
had
it
swore
that
it
tasted
straight
from
the
can
(no
reheating
happened).
The
staff
were
cheerful;
one
of
them
helped
us
in
arranging
our
transport
outside
of
the
city.
The
rate
we
got
was
fair.
Should
I
visit
Bacolod
City
again
for
the
festival,
I'd
try
another
hotel,
but
allot
at
least
8-12
months
in
planning.
We
only
booked
this
hotel
around
5
months
ahead.
