A total must-avoid hotel. It used to be good - now it's a total disaster. The main hotel is so worn, its crazy. The new l'chalet is getting close to there, too. The indoor pool is permanently closed, the roofdeck pool is totally worn, all tiles are coming off, nobody is ever around. Their room brochure says pool and gym are opened from 6 am to 10 pm. At 7pm we were ready to hit the gym, just to find out that by 7pm both pool and gym closes. NOBODY INFORMED US. The hotel charges you 150 pesos for ANY drinks or food brought inside, even if they do not offer the drinks, such as soda water. Absolutely pathetic. For room service, make sure you have EXACT amounts, even if they ask you prior to delivering, whether change is needed or not, they will not bring a change, forcing you to give them the change as a tip. Upon confronting front desk, all this was totally disregarded. "We will inform the manager and he will make a decision", no decision was made whatsoever. A total ruin. Stay in a place like SEDA or Park INN, you'll be MUCH MUCH better off as this hotel is literally falling apart. Also, no parking spaces, you must park at the back of the hotel, and walk all the way around with your luggages. ZERO return for your money, ZERO. If I could give zero stars, I would give minus 20.

I am in a hotel industry for over 10years now I know how the hotel works! I stayed at the hotel locally and international and in terms of service all are quite the same. I booked an executive suite for my daughter’s birthday and I requested for two bed in the room but it was not granted and that’s okay! Also another factor maybe the room configuration doesn’t have two bed for executive room. I know it’s subject for availability but still have some courtesy to inform my mom who checked in that they cannot accommodate the request. I added some notes also that it’s my daughter’s birthday if they can do something it would be much appreciated but when my family get in the room nothing was there. No effort from the frontdesk to check the arrival if there is a special requests! Way back 5-10 years ago the service was great but now it’s seems they are dropping what it’s call hospitality! One of the craziest and shocking information is they charge for the food you order from outside. My daughter was craving for jollibee that time and when my cousin picked up the food downstairs, the frontdesk charged 200PHP because we order food from outside? Like what the H***??!!! Isn’t that crazy? I don’t know if that’s the trend now in Bacolod or maybe who implement policy needs more experienced. It doesn’t really make sense to charge the guests for ordering food outside!!!! So they are expecting that all of their guests will dine in with their expensive restaurant at the ripples and chalet for bfast lunch dinner? I am not writing this to get some rebates, compensation or refunds. Expensive prices at the restaurant are understandable since everything is expensive now. I just need a valid and acceptable reason why charging the guests for ordering outside??

Excellent location right in the heart of the city. Accessible to all points. Their swimming pool area in the roof deck offers a 360 degrees view of the city. Staffers are alert and courteous.

The place is worth your money. Breakfast buffer was excellent. One thing they need to improve is the efficiency in front desk, checking in and checking out took too long.

L'Fisher Hotel is a pinnacle of luxury and refinement. The opulent rooms exude elegance and comfort, while the attentive staff catered to every need with a genuine smile. The hotel's amenities and central location make it a perfect choice for an unforgettable stay in Bacolod City. Highly recommended.

The food here are delicious and tasty. You can relax and enjoy in a very spacious swimming pool at the roof top with a nice view above. The room is nice too. The place are in the center of other business area.

L'Fisher Hotel in Bacolod left an unforgettable impression on me. The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The elegant and luxurious ambiance of the hotel made me feel like a VIP. The rooms were tastefully decorated, spacious, and provided all the comforts I could ask for. The hotel's restaurants served delicious cuisine that satisfied my taste buds. L'Fisher Hotel is an epitome of excellence, and I highly recommend it for an extraordinary stay in Bacolod.

This is possibly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Firstly, I waited 25 mins to check in – the whole system check-in system is just out of date, and no sense of urgency with the front desk team; when I asked if they could get more help, they rudely told me to get back in line- Please provide some training and make your systems are easier for check-in guests and your own team. The hotel is just really dirty; I don’t think they have a vacuum that can clean the stairs, and the carpets are just terrible, same with the bathrooms. The rooms are also just bad, with stained sofas and carpets – we paid 17,000 pesos for two nights, which is not cheap. Also, the coffee maker in the room has the wrong plug, so it can’t be plugged into the wall socket. Overall terrible hotel- Don’t stay at this hotel. Its hotel is just badly run; the team working doesn't smile, are friendly, or even really care about the guests. I was so glad you get the hell out of this place.

This hotel scammed my deposit for a venue I had reserved for an event. Talked to the the general manager and wouldn't even compensate any of my money back even a stay in a a room for a night or 2 he wont do any favour for us! They are very firm and took our money like that! Cost us about $300 and nothing has been retuned to us! They had hired a thief staff and pass onto us the money that was stolen from them! I mean, it wasn’t even our fault! A lot of money was taken from us and we didn’t get any even a single cent! I warn anyone not to go in this hotel because they won’t even consider their guest sentiments! Disgusting! Scam! If this happened to us it can also happen to anyone. Don’t even fall for their scam

My wife and I stay at this place whenever we are in Bacolod, which for a time, was almost every other week. For us, it’s a valued deal in this part of town. The 5-star rating is especially for the excellent buffet breakfast and superb service by its friendly staff. What inspired me to write this review is a simple act by Archie (Bartender) this morning who attended to us and went out of his way to provide such a delightful service. For me, this simple and personal touch of extra service, made a difference to make my day. Thank you very much Archie and keep up the good work!

I’ve stayed here many times for work-relates trips. This is one of the iconic hotels in Bacolod. Its running for how many years already. They actually renovating rooms unfortunately i havent tried the new rooms yet. Breakfast is okay. Employees are very accommodating. The best part is their location, near to pasalubong centers, just infront Calea and few mins ride to malls.

The worst hotel in Bacolod. Didn't live up to our expectations for the money we paid. At the time of check-in, they asked for the reservation number from my friend’s phone, taking her phone to another room, we asked to give the phone back, since this is personal, you must write down the reservation number on another piece of paper. Check in took 1.5 hours because they couldn’t find our reservation. They work very unprofessionally. We took a room for 4 people, when we entered the room we saw only one large Kings size bed, when there should have been at least 2 double beds, there were only sets of towels for two, we had to ask for 2 more beds and plus towels. It looked like we weren't expected here. The service here is very bad. When we decided to book a massage, at the reception they told us they don’t know what time there are free slots and we have to wait until 13:00 when they call us in our room to tell us what time the massage available, I began to be indignant, why am I from 10:00 in the morning until 13:00 I have to sit in my room and wait for their call, when in the hotels where I have stayed there is always a list of times at the reception when you can reserve a massage. We are very disappointed, as we have stayed in cheaper hotels and the service was better than in this 4 star hotel. Wifi so slow better to buy Data sim card. All that is good about this hotel is the breakfast, everything is delicious and there is a lot of choice. I don’t give a single star for the service of the terrible staff. I will also tell my friends because they are flying to Bacalod next month and wanted to stay with you, but I will ask them to cancel this hotel.

As of July 11, 2023 • Hotel has displayed a nice ambiance especially in the lobby • There are some enough conference rooms to hold such events if interested • Casino Filipino is present if you’re interested in gaming entertainment • Fitness Gym and Pool are present in the Chalet building (4th Floor) • Rooms are pricey but it is well designed like a hotel vibe (took the suite room) • Buffet is quite pricey as well but if you can afford it is okay since food quality is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 • There’s a pizza and snack bar in the pool

This is a great hotel in the heart of Bacolod on Lacson street. A short walk to the lagoon where you can relax, exercise, feed the fish and shop. Awesome place to stay during Maskara festival!

Nice hotel overall, but the elevator was kind of old and was not well maintained. Our room had a weird issue with the card not working for a bit. Hotel breakfast buffet could use a bit more selection though.

Very old run-down hotel and much nicer newer hotels close by. Avoid this place by all means, worst hotel experience here ever and I've booked many hotels in the past around Bacolod. The manager couldn't care less for it's guests and just wants to rip you off. Rooms smell foul as does most of the hotel, very outdated fittings and furniture. If I could give a no star review I would as this hotel definitely deserves No Stars plus don't try and rip other customers off like you did to me and come up with every excuse in the world. Please avoid this hotel like the plague and the scams they'll try and pull over you!!!

Restaurant review: Our all time favorite: pancit molo with clover bread. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture :) the rest of the food were so good as well. Service was excellent. The restaurant needs an upgrade but it’s clean.

I’ve stayed at L’fisher around 2015 and they were still quite impressive back then. I went for an overnight stay on June 17, 2023 weekend and severely disappointed. The check-in process took 45 minutes. There were 2 lanes open at the front desk, but only 1 person was attending to all customers, and seemed to be switching from one lane to another. She was accompanied by another hotel staff who seemed like a clueless trainee. On top of that, there was no A/C at the lobby. It was really hot and humid. Not even industrial fans. When it was finally my turn, the receptionist did not even smile and seemed annoyed at what she was doing. When we got into our room, the key card wasn’t powering up the electricity in the room. We had to look for a housekeeping staff for help, who then frantically ran somewhere and returned after about 10 mins with another card. Apparently the key card for the door is different from the one for the power switch. The receptionist apparently gave me only one for the door. Their roofdeck pool has not been well maintained. Thick blocks of paint were peeling off the tiled floor which caused my toddler to trip while swimming. Restaurant staff is so quick to take your order but so slow to give your change. They only accept cash when dining at the roofdeck. I don’t understand why they won’t just charge it in our room. A can of warm orange juice costs 160 pesos. Overpriced for mediocre quality. Not spending 5k again for this bad hotel.

I was able to unwind in a spotless, cozy room. Everyone can unwind in the hotel's tranquil environment. You will undoubtedly love your holiday. I had a great day, and the kind employees added to it

This establishment is decent for the value you're getting. While I don't recommend getting the breakfast during your stay, it will definitely save you a bunch of time and money as it's placed smacked in the middle of the city. If I'll go back to Bacolod in the future, I think I'll consider exploring other hotels but L'Fisher will definitely be a good backup.

L'Fisher Hotel is a decent option for travelers looking for a convenient and affordable hotel in Bacolod City. However, those who are looking for a more luxurious or memorable experience may want to consider other options. **Location:** L'Fisher Hotel is located on Lacson Street, the main thoroughfare of Bacolod City. This makes it very convenient for guests to get around the city and access various attractions, restaurants, and shopping malls. **Facilities:** The hotel has a large function room that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. This makes it a popular venue for weddings, conventions, and other events. The hotel also has a buffet restaurant, a casino, and a wide parking space (although it may not be enough on special occasions). **Rooms:** The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, but some of them are outdated and need renovation. The bathrooms are also relatively small. **Food and service:** The food and service at L'Fisher Hotel are good. The breakfast buffet is decent, but the other meals are not particularly impressive. The staff is friendly and helpful, but they can be slow at times.

I saw how you guys would respond to positive ratings yet disregard negative ones. I reckon you guys should actually read the reasons for the negative comments, otherwise you will really be left behind the new and upcoming hotels or accommodations in the city. As a local of Bacolod, I have seen how l’fisher was the greatest hotel in Bacolod years back. Coming back after 4 years and decided to stay there despite all the new hotels because it used to be one, if not the best hotel in bacolod was utterly disappointing. The main lfisher hotel is really old. There are places that are old but would still be nice to come back to, but this one has def been neglected and not maintained. For the price of the hotel, it doesn’t come far as to the prices of the new ones. So really, they should’ve maintained the place so locals could keep coming back. The carpet was already omitting odour which was unpleasant, the lobby was also really hot, the rooms were really old and unkept for. The toilets/bathrooms had moulds in it (for both lfisher main and lfisher chalet). The reception were both helpful and not. The moment you check out, they let you kept waiting for a couple minutes and you see in their faces they totally forgot about you after you kept looking at them (staring at them) after a while. Then, would say that the check out process is all clear. Another thing i couldn’t understand was the dress code for breakfast. Even a 5 star hotel would allow any attire for breakfast (even in your pajamas) yet in here has strict policy of their breakfast etiquette. (i would know as I’ve stayed in one in Cebu just before arriving Bacolod that night) But ironically, they dont top up their breakfast spread even if it was still early in the morning. We decided to grab brekky at 7:45-8AM and even the breads and viands were empty/almost finished. “It’s sold out” they said. (Imagine just 2 hours after the start of the breakfast service) Even for bacon, the girl cooking it was cooking it in one pan and customers had to wait for 10-15 minutes for the bacon to be ready. Bottomline of this review, it really needs to be refurbished, otherwise people, including myself will definitely prefer the newly built hotels around the area instead of patronising our own locally built hotel. It def has lost its touch.

It's one of the first luxury hotels in Bacolod. It still shows signs of that luxury with the chandelier in the lobby and marble in the bathrooms. However the cabinets are showing age. The old spring bed doesn't give much support and the toilet doesn't flush as well. The buffet spread was amazing with a wide variety of food. And the location made everything convenient

  • 4/5 Martin R. 1 year ago on Google
Nicely, centrally located hotel. The Staff and service performs very well but the rooms need renovation to compete with the newer hotels in the city.

Overall the property feels like it has seen better days. Everything was a little tired and worn out and had funny smells. The staff was very friendly and accommodating except in the food areas. By the pool you had to beg for service and the quality of the food was terrible. Enjoy the pool but find someplace else to eat.

It is great to back in L'fisher. We used to have a breakfast in Ripples before the pandemic. Right now, the hotel is less crowded. Protocols are in place, Room is spacious and well-sanitized.💙

The room was great! Had our mini free breakfast buffet just don't asked tea, hot chocolate bc they don't have lol No business center they charged for 35php per print out. The hotel is more on party activities they have huge function room that is all about. Area location was awesome!!!

The breakfast was good and the room is very big. But there is no hot water so you'll need to buckle up specially when taking a shower during the mornings.

It has that air of elegance to it and one of the prestigious hotels in Bacolod city so I have heard. However, the age of the building is quite evident, the toilet doesn't have any bidet, you often endup playing hide and seek with outlets to plug in your phone charger. And they got this odd/even room numbering setup that will mess with people having OCD. Over night stay is quite cheap though, so if you happen to be on a tight budget, it's worth giving this place a try. And did I mention there is a 7 eleven shop next to it?

L'Fisher will always be a goto hotel in Bacolod City for it's homey feel and a great place to remind us of why we love Bacolod. My family stayed here in Oct 2021 before leaving for Manila. Had a good stay at their executive suite! Thanks L'Fisher!

Stayed here during a work trip in BCD. It is a fairly decent hotel. Lobby was nice and the staff are quick, efficient, and accommodating. Breakfast had a great selection. Room was standard but has everything you need. I also love the hotel for their location. What I didn't like: The carpet in the elevator. Please do something about it please :(

Great rooms and location but the thing I did not like was the corkage fee for food and deliveries outside the hotel. They expect us to appreciate what they have at their restaurant but with its very steep price, we don't feel compelled to order from them. Remove the corkage fees or bring down the price of your restaurant menu and we might think otherwise.

We book 1 day prior to our check-in for 4kpesos😬 with buffet bfast. Better to book in advance. Our room was newly renovated and it was really nice, comfy, and clean. Staff are nice, however, not as friendly and accomodating as I expected. Very convenient place.

Cashier was mean to us. Wouldn't allow us to pay with gcash because we already paid with cash. She didn't want to be flexible to change our mode of payment when we paid for our food at lunch. But the food was great, as usual..

L'Fisher is the grand dame of Bacolod City hotels. Their newly renovated rooms are tastefully appointed and are larger than similarly priced rooms of other hotels. The staff and management of L'Fisher are very accomodating and they'll l make you feel like you're at home away from home. Service and hospitality is what makes L'Fisher the best ⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel in Bacolod.

  • 1/5 Emily P. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is old. Room smells old. Amenities in the room are not good. My allergies got triggered because of the dust. Dishes in the buffet breakfast are not replenished despite is only 8AM. And, their Blue Berry Cheese Cake, which happens to be a deconstructed one (not indicated in the menu) is totally NO GOOD. They fail on value for money. The bed is too low, only one layer of mattress.
