I don't know if it's only due to this pandemic, but the place is dead. This hotel has a lot of potential, nice location, plenty of parking, huge lobby and great food. The wifi speed is laughable tho 3mbps in this day of age. AC system should be changed completely! (CENTRALIZED AC IS THE WAY TO GO NOT WINDOW TYPE! FOR Gs SAKE YOUR ROOMS ARE AT LEAST 28SQM(x 2.4m Ceiling Height) + T&B the 1.5hp window type ac can't accommodate that volume) Overall 4 stars , very modest.

Staff is courteous and friendly. They're willing to make up for the shortcomings of the aging hotel and equipment. Window aircon units are old and noisy. Even if they are still cool, the noise doesn't help at all when trying to sleep at night. Our first room had a busted heater, but we were upgraded to a larger room with a working Hester so we were happy with that. Breakfast buffet selection was decent but not enough for a hotel of this Caliber. More mains would be appreciated. We were only given two choices of main course + soup and eggs.

Pros: Accommodating crews, rooms are clean and well-prepped. View of the port is good. Food is okay. Cons: Telecom signal sucks for Smart users. Boring cable channels--should update the guide since majority of them are not working.

I can't say that my impression of the Acacia Hotel was good. There were no towels in our room when we first got to our . We were greeted in our bathroom by cockaroaches. The room service menu was very expensive. 5 star prices for a 3 star menu. The least impressive thing was the buffet breakfast. All the food was cold. The selection of food was limited. Definitely not worth the 300+ pesos we paid. Personally I would not recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff was RUDE during our check out. (1/2/2023 around 11:30 AM) Took the room keycard with two fingers only (middle and index) and did not even bother to say good morning. She made me wait for a long time in order for them to check our room. When my husband asked what's taking so long, she immediately told him everything is all good now. What was the point of making me wait?

The service is good. The rooms are affordable and comfortable. The location is great because you can watch the sea at your window.

Does not have Beach but a nice view of the terminal. Service was excellent. Everybody is friendly and courteous. We found this place on booking. Com and we went to visit it first. We wanted to see a room. They told us the walk in day rate and it was very expensive. We asked why it was so much cheaper online and they just said it is always cheaper online. So we stood in the lobby and booked online. Then they came out to us and said they got our booking and gave us the room we saw. They have a nice pool but it is a little dirty. The restaurant is nice and had a few Western dishes.

Here is my rating for the acacia hotel bacolod Room - is ok 6/10 Cleanliness - 4/10, there's a cockroach in my room, that I think came from the CR. And also CR had stains on the tiles that shows poor cleaning. Food (breakfast inclusion) - 4/10, there is only 2 choice from the breakfast menu and the food I got is already cold. Take note I did my breakfast around 8am. Aircon - too noisy Internet connection - 8/10 Staff - 9.5/10 - they are approachable and looks friendly. Parking - they have alot of parking space. Location - near sm bacolod and 5-10mins away from ayala mall. Overall - my stay here is ok but I hope the hotel management will do some improvements on their rooms and even the outside of the hotel because it's too creepy.

This is definitely not a place that I can recommend. The breakfast was not value for the money spent. Towels were paper thin and dingy. One of our towels had a little blood from my shaving and housekeeping said that I was liable for the towel .Power and WiFi fluctuate sometimes hourly. I have a car to drive so I was able to go to other parts of Bacolod. I didn't find these same problems, even my cousins house had no problems. Granted we're in a third world country but this hotel is not where you want to stay. I've been to Bacolod many times and there are much better places to spend your hard earned money. This hotel is primarily used by locals because they have low expectations, very sad. I understand that the pandemic was hard but to constantly use it as a crutch for their shortcomings is inexcusable. I apologize for not including that they have non potable water in their bathrooms. I question where else it's used. Sanitation can be a mojor problem if you have a weak stomach.

if you dock at bredco port and need a place to stay, this hotel is literally a walking distance from the port, The staff are accommodating and the lobby is wide and welcoming, The rooms are also clean and tidy. I spent the whole 3 months during the pandemic here and it's a bliss

It was OK but the Internet connection could have been improved but the staff were quick to assist us with our Internet issue. Just a walking distance to SM and there are some nearby restaurants and a 7-Eleven.

Room was big, nice bed, basic amenities included. Could improve on the breakfast buffet selection. Friendly staff. No umbrella that can be borrowed.

Nice hotel. Spacious room. Huge area for events. Huge Parking space as well. A bit off with the front desk, I don't know if it's the aura or maybe she's tired, but anyway, the guards of the hotel are very courteous. Clean rooms to... Slow internet connection. Cable TV was on and off lol. I'll still give a four

Pros: Spacious room with a modern industrial interior design. Toiletries are provided (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo + slippers). They also have a mini ref, tv (but limited channels only; with usb port), lounge chair, desk with mirror, kettle, and coffee mugs. Definitely a bang for a buck. Cons: Parking is wide but the location isn’t that good for me (only strategic if you have business at the port). You’ll need to walk around 10 minutes to access jeepney stops and the road doesn’t look that safe at night. You’ll need to ride a cab going here. Another option is riding a tricycle from SM (near Pope tower).

  • 2/5 Jeff P. 1 year ago on Google
+ The staff are friendly and nice. The Location is close to SM. Hot and cold shower. - The AC is very loud. No towel when I arrived in my room. The wifi disconnects every minute. Need to pay separately to use the pool. It's a nice hotel but I will not be booking here again.

Great service from the staff. From receptionist, room service, and restaurant. Location is right beside the port which is convenient if you need boat access. But it is bit off from downtown center, you would need to ride taxi to downtown. It is walkable to SM but the street is dodgy and dark at night and muddy after rain. You’ll walk along container trucks parked along the road. I think they are still in the middle of renovation and the pool facility is not good. Just one disappointment is the hotel does not have a basic First aid kit which we just need a basic OTC medicine which they cannot sell/provide.

Location is very near to the BREDCO if you're going to Iloilo. Near SM, the net is good, the room is spacious. Slippers and kettle are upon request. Hmmm just on our breakfast that the food is not ready by 6am as published especially we are on a hurry to catch up our 7:20am trip.

The rooms are nice. The common areas are good. The service is great. The location, however, is only ideal if you want a place isolated from the city noise and/or you need to be near the pier.

Checked pricing best price was the same at hotel so i went through hotel website. Checking in was informed that breakfast no longer comes with a room must pay. Was told pool closes at 9 to public and 10 for residents. Tried go at 830 was told it was closed and already putting chlorine in water. The 2 atributes i we were looking for was unaccesible.

A bit run down but still a decent hotel. Linens need to be replaced though. Customer service is not at par with other Acacia hotels Manila and Davao (which we are happy with). Reserved a meeting room in advance but staff have no idea and we didn't have a meeting room until past 9am. Also asked for an official receipt. Said I'll wait in the lobby as it was taking some time to prepare it. No one approached me afterwards and only when I went back to the front desk after 10mins that I found out it's already available. Also didn't understand the need to go to the front desk everyday just to get a breakfast stub. Only positive is that it is walking distance to the ferry terminal.

I was only here for a conference. The exterior looks old and not well-maintained. Their restaurant is located in the lobby. So when you arrive in the morning, you will immediately see the guests eating their breakfast. However, the service is outstanding. The food is also good.

Room is okay but the pool is a bit dirty (I don't think they often clean). The location is also okay and near SM but the walkability is a bit on the negative side because it's near delivery hubs aka big trucks. View is nice though and they offer free breakfast options.

A very nice place to stay during our travel around Bacolod. I can feel the warm welcome of the people and the staff of the hotel. Nice place when meeting our clients and enjoying the view. Food are great, same thing with the accommodation. Rooms are very nice too.

Stayed there for 4 days during my quarantine. The staff takes extra precautions when delivering the food. Big plus! They’re also very friendly and accommodating. Felt at home while waiting for my swab results.

Nice clean property and rooms. The food at the restaurant was very good. The pool was busy and not very clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

the location is having seabreeze and can stay securely.however the bathroom amenities must have basic items aside from dental kit.buds and body wash even small bottle to freshen up specifically for travellers. must have bathrobes for in house guest guest due to the pool is located at the other side of the building.

  • 4/5 Denard Samson T. 4 years ago on Google
Very modern, stylistic and comfy. We just made an inquiry but the crew already offered free coffee on their lobby. Function rooms are spacious and a must-recommend for big events. The rooms are clean and give a great get-away vibe.

A hotel right at the heart of the city of Bacolod and just adjacent to the seaport terminal for ferries going to Iloilo City

The room is clean. The staff are amazing. Was able to talk to the guard most of the time while waiting for my foodpanda, lols. Swimming pool staff is also great, she assisted us so well. I miss the buffet breakfast though, I hope it will be back soon. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and I will surely comeback.

Great Hotel with amazing staff and decent rooms. Location is a bit odd as it seems like it's in the middle of other establishments. Overall a great place to stay

Bathroom is not clean. I can see some tooth paste cap on the floor like I just arrived. 2nd time they're like this. Meeeeeh. And bed has someone else's hair. Face palm!

Room- we stayed in the suite. The check in took a long long time though instead of 2pm. They kept saying -after 5 minutes- and I kept coming back to the counter to check in every 5 minutes that it was irritating already. Told the f.d.o to just call my number so I won't walk back to the counter and ask again. Checked in at 3:30pm. When I got to my room, the key card won't work . Housekeeping staff was there to assist and told me why it took a long time for the room to be prepared. Apparently previous guests flooded the bathroom and spilled food all over. When I got in, there was a cluster of dirt that wasn't removed from the floor and I had to call the housekeeping staff again. What a glitch. Kept my cool though even if I was already irritated! Suite was big. Had a good stay.

I didn't stay at the hotel but just attended the seminar. The place is nice, their function hall is clean and big. Good for any kind of event.
