S-C-A-M! Be careful booking the Family Suite. We booked the Family Suite with the expectation of 2 Rooms with 1 T&B - which is what is advertised in FB, Agoda and Booking.c@m. Instead we got 2 beds with 2 pullout. CR is not cleaned with previous guests' soap. Cobwebs on the ceiling. Filthy, grayish and used beddings and rugs (yup even rugs were used) - we asked to have it changed but they say that laundry has not arrived yet. So we have to stick with the used beddings until laundry arrives. Sharmaine Cervano, the rude receptionist mentioned that it's because they are budget accommodation. Nope! Budget accomm is not a reason for budget cleaning.

I can't believe how it got its high rating. It was our first time in Bacolod and we relied on the reviews. But it's just so incomplete and the staff seem inexperienced. Turned out they were on soft opening when we arrived. We had to ask for almost every item that should be included on what we paid for. We were expecting for a guest-ready hotel but we had to go out to the reception area every now and then to ask for slippers, water, glass, etc. My colleague also chilled because the water heater wasn't working and all that the employee had to say was 'sorry ma'am'. Again, these were included in the package that we paid for and not extras. Anyhow, the guard was able to fix the heater thankfully. In the morning, we ordered our breakfast at 5.45am but it wasn't served until 7.15am. Why?! 2nd floor is also not ready it actually looks like a haunted house. Some people may like ancestral houses like this one; they may go visit.

Cleanliness - 4 clean enough. Facilities - 2 - we stayed in the unit with toilet sharing for 3 units. The room we got has no outlet for charging. No space for hanging clothes. Toilet has no window. Service - 4 - the workers are friendly and accomodating. Price - 2 - price of 1200 per night for 2 does not seem good value for the facilities. You get towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo. On the first night we got slippers on the second we didnt. They can do without the disposable toiletries and improve facilities instead.

The room I stayed feels like home. Soft pillows and Beddings. The staff are also accomodating. The upper part of the house is a family Museum that displays their ancestors collections. Rating: 9/10 Recommended

A low budget but charming hotel that used to be a museum and that offers a unique atmosphere with its old furniture and old family pictures. Its location is excellent and it offer amenities and services that most 3-star hotels don't provide (cable TV, toiletries, etc). I strongly recommend it.

Right now as I write this review we are waiting for staff to contact manager to come and fix problem of sewer water filling up the shower. This has made our room (room # 2) stink of raw sewage, which is coming up from the shower drain. They came. Could not fix problem. Upgraded us immediately to a better room. Very friendly, courteous staff. Would stay here again. 1950s house with 14 rooms. Lots of 1950s through 1970s memerobelia. Great nostalgic 1950s vibe.

The room was good. Because there was no available room, so we booked the room for family. There were 2 large bed. The room was so close to the living room (or acception hall). We could hear the staff talking and making sound loudly often. During the evening and in the morning when other customers already finished their breakfast. And the sound proof of the building is not so reliable so maybe you might hear the sound from the road also. The room was beyond expectation, but if the staff could be better to customers, the experience would be nothing than great.

Really nice place to stay in bacolod. They said that this hotel was old museum so you can expect that the place looks really nice and vintage. The beds in our room is really comfortable. The staff here is really friendly as well they provided us with all our needs without any charges like an extension cord, electric fan, extra towels etc. The best thing is that that it is not as expensive as other hotels as good as this. I highly recommend this place.
