Very bad paranormal experience in room L10 facing the sea. Actually is a man made lake. Then they asked us to pay for the room charge of 800 pesos because we need to transfer room in the middle of the night. Why we need to bother ourselves to transfer if we were at peace in that room. It seems that, there's invisible someone choking on us and we were wide awake. There's something going on in that room. I believed that room has already history of paranormal activity but since we insisted the room facing the sea, they gave it to us. The rooms facing the sea looked abandoned and haunted.

Whatever greatness this place used to have is long gone. It’s dirty, run down, unkempt, no food, no wi-fi, it feels dirty and forgotten. Avoid at all costs until management gets this place back to proper conditions.

My kids went for a day swim here so I can't comment on the rooms and the other pool (there are 2 pools in this place) which is only used by checked in guests. Due to the wind blowing, dried leaves from the tall trees fell onto the water but personnel was deligent to clean it out. The shower room was a disappointment as it wasn't clean and not maintained at all. On a good note, the bartender and staff were friendly and food was tasty. I hope they will make renovations as facilities are really outdated.

Stayed in this resort for a conference/training. There were 200+ pax in attendance. We stayed for 5 nights and 5 days. Sleeping Rooms: ⭐️⭐️⭐️They are decent. Airconditioning cools the room well. Rooms are old but maintained well enough. Conference Rooms: ⭐️⭐️They were cramped. At one point, the resort double booked our team with another conference group and the dividers were’t enough to prevent the noise from travelling between the two rooms. Food: ⭐️This has got to be one of the worst conference food I’ve had. The portions were so small, the meat was not fresh, and the overall taste borders bland and meh. Staff: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff were wonderful. They are the best part of this hotel so don’t forget to tip well. At the bar, Sir Angel was really nice and makes really good cocktails. I forgot the teller’s name, but she was super. nice as well. The wait staff during the conference were nice as well. Location and Amenities (e.g., pool): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They allowede me to swim at 6 am but usually the pool opens at 7. Pools are cleaned well. There are three pools in the resort. The sunset is really nice as well specially if you get clear skies. The vibe is relaxing, except for when you are in the conference rooms. Situated within a village, the resort feels secure. WIFI⭐️: BAD. Even your data won’t make it. Overall , this place is a 3/5 for me. It’s the staff who deserves a 5/5.

The pool is dirty, rooms and bathroom needs maintenance. The lady at the front desk is inconsiderate. They don't prepare to clean as guest are coming to check in. I'm glad that the security guard on duty at night turn on the lights near the pool. Or else it's gonna be dark around.

We were walk-in customers. At first, I would like to pay using my credit card because I didn't have enough cash. According to the clerk they would not accept CC due to VAT issue which I did not understand. Then she advised me to proceed to the cottage area and pick any cottage. Most of the cottages were empty because we came early. We occupied the cottage near the pool but later advised to move because it's for guests with rooms (which I calmly complied). We transferred to another place, it was old and dirty. When I got back to the pool I saw a foreigner with his children in the exact place we occupied. I knew, they didn't have a room because they left all their belongings in the cottage. This time I was a little upset. Approximately, 1 - 2 hours after we changed our location a staff member told me to move again because the cottage we have chosen was reserved, this time I was furious. I informed the staff that they should have told us earlier because we were already settled and organized all our stuff. This was my second time in this place with my family, but the first time we stayed in a room. The service was good, so I was really unhappy on our second visit. We felt unvalued.

It will be nice if your front office associates are more accomodating and nice.. please hire people with proper front office management training. Your front office staff is inconsiderate!!! And please make sure you have someone incharge on your parking space. Parking area is very hassle!!!

Not the best place or facilities.....on their internet add they state that they have billiards, boating, fishing, swimming. They ONLY have a pool to swim in. NOTHING ELSE TO DO.....very boring.....also we were ate up by bugsats (biting bugs) in the beds....many bites on everyone. A horrible place to visit. No. No. No. In my opinion you DO NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR....🥺🥹😖😣😞😩

Always check the facebook page for promotion and discounts. I booked a room good for 2 adults and 1 child for only 1599 pesos. The resort hotel is situated in one of the subdivision in bacolod city. The sliding window's lock in our room was broken, only noticed it when we were about to sleep. Our room.had a nice view of the beach and pool. Room with hot and cold shower, bed not too comfortable to sleep in. With mini fridge, TV. The pool is clean.

Quite peaceful place to have dine-ins and even overnight (not on weekend though!). Best for family gathering and even company events.

It was a week days when we have an activity in Palmas del Mar... the place was improved and rapidly develop. It has so many areas that possess a great view, no wander why it was been always the choice of prenuptial pictorials. You can feel the privacy being there and quiet that you and friends difinitely enjoy chatting until the sun sets.

It's a very nice place and location judging from the scenic views and remote getaway from the city. A creative isolation from the mainstream of Bacolod, you can unwind and relax with your friends and family.

A quiet… nice place to relax…they have restaurant to cater to your meals.. no need to bring anything and sorry to be blunt but their is corkage… sorry to the management but my viewers need to know… BUT… you can buy from the restaurant.. no need to exhaust yourself preparing… they have Boodle bundles and also a consumable by the pool food… come and inquire… they are very cooperative

Palmas del Mar is a great place to spend your vacation and quality time with family and friends, celebrate any occasion, or just have a romantic getaway with your partner.

The resort remains to be one of the refreshing spots in Bacolod. It has a view of the ocean. Rooms are well-maintained and the facilities are accessible. Despite their price increase and charges on little things, my friends and I were willing to spend a little more because we knew that services were reliable. I also always enjoy the different pools and gardens that they have. It would recommend it for gatherings and staycations.

Only went for day use of pools. Relaxing, enjoyable. Few people so pretty private. Poolside food and drink service is good, not great, but affordable. Food is pretty good, definitely no complaints, seafood dishes were the best. Drinks were weak, but I wasn't there to get drunk.... So it's ok. Staff are friendly, if a little inattentive.

It's a great place for relaxation. The rooms are not too expensive. They provide promos and discounts on special occasions. The place is well maintained and the food is great. My only concern in this place are the staffs. Some of them act as if they own the place. Management is good. Room service is very slow. They have enough parking space. Their packages also are somewhat reasonable specifically when reserving for a room to celebrate your birthday because the price is consumable.

Pricey but well worth it. Service is great, the staff are very accommodating. Location is quite accessible to a certain degree, but if you have your own ride, it would be best to utilize it. Grab is also an alternative to get to the resort but at a higher price point. The food is great despite the high price. Rooms are also pretty nice. The pools are well-maintained with life guards on duty during the day

Been here multiple times. Great place for staycation. Shell of its former self but still one of the best place within the metro to unwind.
