We got a standard family room good for 4pax. The room had a double bed and a bunk bed ideally for 4pax. The room was very small and it's difficult to move around. I felt they added the bunk bed just to increase the room price. If you reserved through a booking app, they will ask for 50% to be deposited to their account otherwise it's going to be cancelled. Also you need to confirm what time you will be arriving because it might get cancelled even if you already made a deposit. There's an overpowering smell inside the hotel, must be paint or soap I didn't ask. The rooms was not ready when they led us to them and someone was still cleaning inside so we waited outside for a couple of minutes. The room floor was still wet and hair is everywhere on the floor as seen on the picture and very disgusting. If you need a budget friendly hotel don't go to this hotel.

Pros: Wifi. Strong air conditioning. Wide bathroom with heater. Sky Cable TV. Near Robinsons mall. Good quality for a budget hotel. Cons: Towels weren’t top quality. No telephone in the rooms. There is a common phone outside the rooms. Reception desk is separate from rooms and you had to pass through the restaurant (and possibly through rain) to get to your rooms. Not deal breakers but some things to improve.

The location is great. Not too far from the city center and adequate distance from the airport and other terminals as well as some nearby sights. What bothers me is there bathroom, it definitely smells, I chose this place because of convenience but not worth the price. it seems that they don't maintain the cleanliness and the sheets are pretty itchy, I have sensitive skin and my body is just itching, it seems that ti wasn't properly washed. Although the air-conditioning is great but cleanliness should be the main priority.

You can really tell that there’s something wrong with room upon entry. The room is dirty, especially the bathroom 🤮The location is good. But I hope the management will take action on maintaining the cleanliness of the place.

(CLEANLINESS) Rooms were clean 8/10, I suggest please maintain every corner of the room clean, I saw cobwebs and dust on the bed under the mattress. (COMFORT ROOM AMENITIES) Soap was provided but only good for one person even though there were 2 guests. If you can provide shampoo as well that would be great, just provide the amount depending on how many guests and how long the stay is. (STAFF) Customer Service 10/10

Room where we stayed is a bit outdated. Fixtures aren't working well. Water supply was a problem. Toilet bowl had to be fixed when we were there. Staffs are friendly though and location of the hotel is awesome - near a mall, dining options, convenience store, coffee shop, etc.

Well, it doesn't look like the pictures on Agoda, it smells musty, nobody in attendance, didn't answer yesterday's email, the phone number on the booking notification is wrong, the posted phone numbers on the wall, neither of them answered. Not one little bit impressed, abandoned the booking and went elsewhere. I hope my review saves someone having the same problem. Yes, I made the mistake of not checking the Google reviews, Agoda reviews are different.

The rooms are not soundproof, we can hear our neighbours moaning and doing their thing. Not recommended if you're bringing your kids and if you're uncomfortable with noises.

Our family of 4 including 2 kids aged 8 and 11 and anotger adult stayed at the family room in Hometown Hotel Bacolod last August 24-25, 2023. Staff were very accommodating and very responsive when we checked in and asked for our takeaway food to be refrigerated. Room size is decent to sleep 4 adults and a baby. Although, I would not recommend staying there with an infant. Rooms are not sound-proof. Guests can hear other guests opening and closing doors, conversations in the hallway, etc.. Room floor definitely needs sweeping and dusting. Dust mites visible on floor. Air-conditioning doesn't work well. Maybe needs cleaning too. When I took a shower, a small cockroach and worm appeared on the bathroom floor and by the shower curtain. Cobwebs are also present near the shower heater. There's a leak in a pipe on the bathroom ceiling which causes dirty water marks on the wall near the switch. The whole room needs deep cleaning and sanitizing which can easily be done with a good soap, clean water, and disinfectant. Toilet and sink have yellow water marks too which indicates they have been long overdue for a clean-up too. Even outside the building were trash and animal manure which stinks in the morning. It would have been a more enjoyable and healthy stay if it weren't for the issue of cleanliness and sanitation.

The environment was not clean enough and the room was lacking ammenities. We paid for the premium family since they told us that the other rooms cannot accomodate for 3 but it was not condusive. The room and service was not worth it for the amount that we had paid for. Lacking ammenities: 1. TV is not working 2. Soap is only good for 1 person where infact we paid for a family room for 4. Good points: 1. Wifi available 2. comfortable bed. Things needed to be improve: 1. Room cleanliness ( with cobwebs at the cealings) 2. Hotel sorrounding 3. Cr cleanliness

If you are looking for a budget friendly place that is near the city, then this is the place for you

The place was near to the city. Easy access to other places. But due to heavy rains we went to Hometown there's drippings in our room.

Very hospitable and friendly staff... That time we need to print out appointment and they offered to print it for free.... Highly recommended♥️

Before I booked this hotel I check the review and I saw they have bad reviews but then I still go for it coz maybe after all the complains they received they will change and do some actions BUT IT WAS SO DISSAPOITING!!!!! The reviews are true and we experience it.... Me and my friends stayed in this hotel but OMG the room was not properly clean so dirty and smelly!!!!! Like we even go to the Metro to buy Albatross because the bathroom 🤮 has some smell. Water in the shower is not clean also so if we brush our teeth we use our own mineral water. We even saw some cockroach on the walls. Some of the staff was not friendly. Location was good!!!

Staff are accommodating, rooms are ok, but may i suggest change the scent of the air fresheners or the scent of the linen that you are using its a little bit annoying. ☺️shower room and cr needs a little bit of attention when cleaning, but still acceptable.the location is very ideal for people who are first timer here in bacolod or just transient passing through bacolodit is very accessible. I hope regular customers can get discount 😁😁😉 just joking 😄

My mom has stayed just stayed only overnight cause the room is so dirty and smelly. She can't even pee on the comfort room due the toilet is totally disastrous, the faucet and door are broken. The hotel also not allow to cancel a hotel booking even there are a lot complainants on the room. Staying there just waste of money.

When we enter the room the Cr is very stinky 😔 I saw many spider webs and algae on the wall ,the bucket is so dirty .the tv is not working , the bed makes us itchy ,but the good thing is they have hot & cold shower thanks though we spent our 1night there.

Very good location. The room is very small and you can hear the hallway. The AC and wifi is good too. Bang for the buck.

There are many cockroach eggs in the bed. There are a lot of spider webs and i did not like the smell of the pillows. The bed is also itchy. But good thing that they have heater and aircon. The tv is working but cant catch other channels since the cable is not available during our visit.

This place needs to be renovated and I'm not satisfied with their cleanliness. What you see in pictures are way too different in person.

You cant adjust the water heater in the bathroom.

Overall negative! We booked Premium Double they gave us Standard Double! They blame our booking app because it's what they received which is so not true because I worked on that app. Toilet door is broken, i got wounded from it. Toilet is dirty and clogged. Will never be back there.
