We made a last minute booking on this hotel and good thing they still have available room. Negative reviews are unlikely true, the place and facility is just superb. The ambiance of the place is what amazed me so much.

Stayed here last Oct 3-5 2016. This place is nice. It is cheaper to just have a direct reservation. I was able to check in early with no hassle but maybe because that place was not fully book. No Wifi in the rooms but you can stay in the 2 floor lobby for to get internet connection. the room was spacious so was the bathroom. I can't remember if there was hot water though. They helped me get a shuttle from the hotel to the airport with no extra change. Free breakfast is awesome.

Pros: Budget hotel. Quiet. Within the city. Can be booked online. Cons: Security guard busy playing online game. Torn, poor quality linens. "Smelly" room. Outdated airconditioning unit. Internet is only available in the lobby areas and not a priority to the guests instead, to the employees.

A Pleasant Stay at Royal Am Rei Hotel! During my first visit to Bacolod City, I had the opportunity to stay at the Royal Am Rei Hotel. Although not the best nor the worst, it provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The hotel's design had a slightly dated look, but it still retained its charm and functionality. It was evident that the hotel has been operating for a long time, offering reliable service to its guests. The location was a major plus, as it was conveniently situated close to various attractions and amenities. Overall, my stay at Royal Am Rei Hotel was great, and I would consider staying there again during future visits to Bacolod City.

At first, I was hesitant to book in this hotel due to the negative reviews. Luckily I took the risk and found out that those negative comment are all NOT TRUE. Aside from being the cheapest along Lacson Street, the location is also perfect for Pasalubong Center and Restaurant. Thumbs up to the staffs who were all accommodating up to the extent of offering us their restaurant to eat our leftovers from lunch (foods were bought outside) and rendered full service (such as putting water in our glass, serving ketchup, vinegar etc...). I will definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Not gonna lie. It's ok, but for a 1200+ room they could do better, I guess it was never renovated to keep up at the current times, staff are nice.

Decent,acceptable place. Could be better. Rooms are clean and well maintained though A lot of the room amenities are clearly old and quite well used. Some should already be updated /replaced but are still serviceable. Staff is one of the most helpful I've encountered.
