I mentioned this to Metin, the instructor, and he was very patient with me, making sure to constantly check that my ear is OK during our initial dives. I felt at ease during our 7 dives together, and was able to enjoy the great marine life diversity (including turtles, baby whitetip shark, moray eel and frogfish) in the dive sites. I randomly found Scuba Planet while visiting Sugar Beach in Sipalay. The owners of the dive center, Juan and Selina, provide a superb service and are a really friendly couple. Both are very professional and have many years of experience. I dived several times with them here and I can honestly say that Sugar Beach is one of the best sites in Negros and in the Philippines. It´s basically a paradise for scuba diving. If you pass by I can assure you won´t leave disappointed.

I had a wonderful time diving with Metin. The dives are well-planned, safe and loads of fun. Metin is an instructor-trainer and constantly checked for my comfort and safety in the water. The boat carries a thermos for coffee and fresh fruit and biscuits are provided. In addition there is a special oxygen tank on board for emergency situations. Kattis and the crew are lovely as well.
