We've been coming back to this Island for quite some time. It has become my Mom's favorite so far. Everyday during our stay, the sky shows different views. The water is so clear. During the day it is crowded (based on the season) but during the night, it's like you own the place. It is quiet and peaceful. They also have bands performing diff songs which you can enjoy. The food and its price is acceptable. Because food taste so good! The accommodation never fails. Plus you have many options. Like if you want to camp - it possible and safe!

We traveled to this place in October last year to introduce my Australian partner to it. I had always boasted about how amazing this place was, but we were disappointed when we arrived. It seemed like the place had been neglected due to the pandemic and lack of tourists. The path leading to the island was being repaired by workers, which made it dangerous for people to cross. We were with my mother at the time, and we were concerned about our safety. We wondered why the resort was open when it was still undergoing repairs. The island itself was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed a brief swim, and my brother particularly enjoyed it. We also ordered different dishes from the menu, which tasted fantastic. However, our joy was short-lived. When we returned home, my partner and mama started feeling unwell, but my brother and I were okay. We suspected that it might have been the prawns they ate because me and my brother had crustacean intolerance and didn't eat them. My partner ate most of the prawns and suffered from food poisoning for three days, which ruined the rest of our trip. In hindsight, my advice to anyone planning to visit this place would be to bring their food and drinks to save money and avoid getting sick. It's also best to avoid ordering seafood. I contacted the resort to inform them of what happened and they apologized for the inconvenience. We accepted their apology and they assured us that they would be more careful and mindful of their food handling practices in the future.

I had an amazing time at Lakawon Island Resort! The beach was so beautiful, and I had a lot of fun in the clear water. They had cool stuff to do in the water. The place I stayed in was really comfy, and the people were really nice. It's a great spot for a relaxing and fun vacation.

Lakawon is a textbook example of how to ruin an exceptional island getaway. It's a real shame how a once remarkable location can be completely destroyed by mismanagement and greed. Shameful. Let me explain: Lakawon back in 2016 used to be this relaxed, nature focused resort, with beautiful but simple (no AC, limited power) little huts for overnight stay next to the beach. It was a truly exceptional deserted island experience, with simple but delicious food. This is all gone now. Today Lakawon is plastered with ugly cement buildings and "cottages", to cater to the masses who apparently need AC controlled rooms and hotel like buffets with bland food. All charm of the original island getaway is gone. There also doesn't seem to be any kind of plan how many people are allowed on the island at the same time, which creates a truly overcrowded scene, with countless groups of people, each one blasting their own music through their speakers. The only thing which actually needed improvement even back in the day, got even worse now: The complete lack of system when it comes to trying to catch a boat back to Negros. Expect compete anarchy when fighting your way through the "line" to catch the boat. Lakawon used to be one of my favourite spots in the Philippines. Unfortunately those days are long gone.

This island is stunning. Went here for a day trip. There was a bit of wait at the port, like 1 hr so I suggest you go early. The service in their restaurant was great and food is good. The floating bar was beautiful and you can also jump in the water. Price was a bit high though considering the quality. Cocktails were just meh.

I stopped here when I was touring the Philippines. This place is amazing. The staff see to your every needs. You would greeted very warmly by the reception stuff and showed to our rooms which were very clean. Spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable. I will definitely be returning and I would recommend anybody to travel to here, this place is paradise.

This place is a small island in the Bacolod Philippines. It's a hidden gem because the island is similar to Boracay but with less crowds. I've been here twice but I never get tired of its beauty. The island is away from the city, and a very serene place with an affordable price. Try their food too, it's great for a cheap price. Amazing place! I will be visiting it again soon!

The place is a great island resort. The rooms are great and clean, also the beach as it is shallow, great for kids (no night swimming tho ). Food is expensive so it is better to bring your own. You can explore the island in an hour.

Everything was great! So clean and tidy. Large room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Perfect location, right on a calm and peaceful beach. As soon as you walk out of the accommodation, you see this wonderful beach. During the evening, we would walk to station 1 or 2 for dinner and drinks. But we were always glad to return to the quiet side of the island afterwards. Staff were so polite, kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I love the place. White sand and the water was clear. The cottages were also in good conditions. The entrance was php550 per person that already includes the boat fee round-trip and the cottage fee. We went last December 2020 and we enjoyed the place because there were only few tourists around.

It’s a White Beach Island Resort great to relax with family or hangout with friends. we stayed from 29 - 30th of December as a last for the year. The way the island now looks more empty than what it was in the photos, and from the check in, they do not give you what you could do in the island and the amenities they offer. Contrary to the reviews saying they do a cashless system, they did not as they are to accept cash. They modernized the island a tad bit from the differences of the atmosphere when we went. The Food is equal to its Prices and the Beachfront kinda makes up for its price. We got the room at a 40% off and when you pay for full price, it is not worth it at all.

The Lakawon Island Resort was fantastic! I had a great day swimming in the crystal-clear water and enjoying the gorgeous beach. They may do fun things in the water. I had a great time there, and the hosts were really friendly. It's a terrific location for a leisurely and enjoyable holiday.

The natural beauty of Lakawon Island is breathtaking. The combination of pristine white dunes, softly swaying palm palms, and sparkling seas creates an almost dreamlike setting. The island's beautiful beaches provide plenty of room for relaxing, and the spectacular sunsets are a sensory overload. Every part of this paradise appears to be a postcard-worthy view, allowing guests to relax in a setting that appears to be timeless.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lakawon Island Resort, and I must say it was an absolute tropical paradise. From the moment I set foot on the island, I was captivated by its sheer beauty and mesmerizing ambiance. My experience at Lakawon Island Resort was nothing short of exceptional. The stunning natural beauty, excellent accommodations, friendly staff, exciting activities, and peaceful ambiance all contributed to an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this tropical paradise to anyone looking for a slice of heaven on earth.

We enjoyed our stay in the island. But the staff charge an additional fee for our boat transfer to the island even we paid for our day tour fee plus our overnight room. It should not be that way. I reported this to the front desk clerk.

Not worth it for an overnight stay. Stick with the day trip. The island is small. The floating bar is not maintained. There are cockroaches everywhere. Common CRs are dirty. Food in the restaurant is too expensive. Drinks is the bar is not that greayt. If you're planning to go here, 1. Just do a day trip, 2. Bring food 3. Bring your own drinks P. S. 4.5k a night for your cheapest with a common CR that is dirty is not worth it.

Beach: 3/5 - not that big compare to other beaches, there's a lot of garbages at the back of the hotel and restau. Sand is okay. Food at the Sunset Bar: 2/5 - There's a lot of choices in the menu, let we say, out of 20 items, only 2 is available. So why choose? 🙄🙄🙄 Iced Coffee is not available bcoz they don't have milk, Juices and Milkshakes is not available bcoz they don't have ice. Food in the Restau: 3/5 - Taste is good but limited selection, price is too high. Wifi: 0/5 - Not working, the receptionist said; it was hit by the thunderstorm but as per my colleague, the wifi wasn't working when they visited a week ago. I don't know if they're just making an alibi, coz fixing wifi wont take more than a week. Room: 2/5 - No Bathroom inside the room, you need to go out and use the sharing/community bathroom with the other visitors. TV is not working, Phone signal is too weak. You cannot browse internet due to slow signal, plus their wifi is not working. I also asked Hanger for my clothes unfortunately, they dont have it. Comfort Room: 1/5 - The water is salty, obviously came from the ocean. They have fresh water, but you need to fill in your own pale from the hose. Floating Bar: 2/5 - Same with the Sunset Bar, there are plenty of choices in the menu but only few is available. Services: 2/5 - Staff are good, but the service; WORST SERVICE EVER. I wonder why they open this beach to the public if they cannot give a good service plus the food and drinks is always out of stock. Concerns and complaints are used to them. If you are planning to visit this place: BRING YOUR OWN FOOD, TOILETRIES, COOKING EQUIPMENTS, ETC. They do not charge corkage fee. Over All: 2/5

Trip made during the pandemic. Understandably, things are far from normal. Honeymoon suite, 2 nights, $200 a night. Rooms need practical repairs. Doors creak/get stuck and shower heads are clogged. Massively understaffed. Reception/manager acts like a total queen; like we owe him a favor for processing our check-in - more an attitude problem than a resort problem. Surprisingly, food quality has improved despite having a limited and overpriced menu (8 items). Still deserves 4 stars for being a nice island.

Great view and very accessible. We had great time in the beach(white sand and clear water). Had some fishes when we came and the food is also good. Plenty of food options from snacks to breakfast/lunch/dinner. Had wagyu cubes served hot and short waiting time. Breakfast meals were also great.

Ok, the place is great, the beach experience awesome. Staff are friendly. But just very disappointed that food options are rather limited, price not a problem. In some cases, even those in the menu are out of stock. The room is over-priced. The floating bar is not operating coz no stocks daw?? To think that this is Maundy Thursday which is a tourist-high period. Plus, a lot of unfinished construction around. The other side of the island is messy and has lots of garbage. Ok, they just had typhoon Agaton, but when they decided to open, the place should have been ready to accept guests. The paying public deserves better.

A secluded place ideal for couples who want a quiet time for themselves or for barkada who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the metro. The place is comparable to the foreign resorts in the west. There are just certain areas where you can enjoy swimming. Some activities were not available. The room was good. The staff, however, need to be more friendly and accommodating. Overall, the experience was ok. I just hope they can advise on the availability of the activities prior arrival. And have more friendly staff as they really leave an impact to the overall experience. Looking forward to a more exciting stay in the resort.

We did not expect that their is no Bathroom inside our room (Pearls Place) for an overnight stay. They have a common bathroom which is dirty. Their water in there shower uses salt water, if you want fresh water, mag igib ka muna ng tubig and carry the pail of water inside na common rooms.

Extortionate rate for boat taxi. Advertise wagyu and but do not have it (which is deceptively actually wagyu scraps) They advertise wake boarding and don’t have it. They advertise kite surfing and don’t have it. The island is FULL of plastic waste. The employees were idol all day when they could litter pick or correct out of date adverts for foods and activities. Full of dangerous trip hazards. And jetty has lots of loose nails. Unfortunately this island resort is an expensive failure.

It was okay. They have free wifi and the network signal fpr both smart and globe are working fine. You can go on a day trip for 750 php that includes entrance fee, access to the floating restaurant and the boat transfer to and out of the island. Overnight stay costs a bit higher and you can book your accommodation seperately.

1.The island is nice. The water is also nice. 2. Going to the island is uncofortable, not recomended to seniors. Banca boat is scarry to ride. Not avaibale 24/7. 3. Safety is not well defined. Have not seen any medic area or first aider. Worst no doctor or nurse. 4. Rooms at 4K plus no CR inside, only for common 5. Food , too expensive, only AB class can afford 6. Place is too hot. Lacks trees. 7. Service is very poor, no watwr provided in rooms. 8. I donot recommend this place to my friend. 9. But the workers of the resort are very nice, friendy hardworking people. They are good l pity them.

Drove one hour and purchased ferry ticket just to find out that they need 25 people per boat before they take you on the ferry to the island. Waited one hour and only five other people arrived, eventually requested a refund, because they wouldn't take us to the island. They should have ferries leave at a specific time no matter how many people are waiting for the ferry. Drove one hour back to my original departure city.

If you want a good tan, this is the place to be. But my advise is to BRING YOUR OWN food. We ordered at 11AM and the kitchen only has 3 options left. And what’s worse, the price for a 4-piece buttered chicken is RIDICULOUS. Very overpriced, even their pancit bihon. A wonderful resort but they could have improved their menu selection and price.

The place is dirty, especially the sand dune, no clean wash rooms. The price to get there is absolutely unreasonable. The front beach is beautiful but the whole place is totally not worth the price to get there. Food is expensive But staff is accomodating.

The place is still under developed. The island can offer a lot but it is not well maintained. Expensive food, especially the breakfast. But Tawhai floating bar will meet your expectations, that's the only thing I enjoyed here..

Checked in with Junior Suites good for 3 people with complimentary breakfast for 3. Room has own mini-refrigerator which is useful if you're bringing food and drinks. Bathroom is clean with bidet spray. No corkage fee for now. Menu in the island was limited. Restaurant food has reasonable price and the taste is average. No wifi. Smart & Globe network signal averages 2-3 bars. Bring USB or external drive if you want to use the TV. Bring your own toiletries. Island ambiance is great, ocean is clear. Took a while to find any fishes (no corals) while snorkeling. The big floating bar is inaccessible to the public. Never had the chance to check the smaller version of the floating bar. You can walk the whole island in less than 30 minutes.

Wonderful Experience 🤩 , it is just wow. Clear blue sea water with normal depth. Best for relaxation. You can enjoy beautiful beach view. To reach here by normal ship with 20 to 25 people approx piso 750 , morning to 4 pm . For night stay charges will be different. Food , drinks, rest room available. I was in the sea for 4 hours it was fun & cool😊🥳. Less population and enjoyable. Weather hot & humid outside, inside sea water you will feel cool . You can do photo shoot here. Lovely island 🏝️ very small but lovable. You can just walk one side to other side of island in 5 minutes 😅.

The resort is an easy 15 minute boat ride from Cadiz port, ~1 to 1.5 hour trip by car from Bacolod airport. The premier room was great with private hot shower and toiletries provided. There is a minor hiccup on the check-in process but it was handled ok by their very friendly staff. I would imagine that it would be very busy during summer season.

Went here with the wife for a day trip. The beach is serene, imagine stilts in Calatagan. Water is clear but I wish they work on preserving cleanliness of the beach (floaters are seen here and there) Now the food. They served good food, wife was happy. I need to mention their assistant manager at the 'main restaurant' - - he was so kind to attend all our needs and even made suggestions. I'm sorry I wasn't able to get your name, kuya! You did great. However there's this staff who kept on constantly glaring at me for about three instances during our tour. Just when I'm about to call him out, I've seen kuya in my peripherals smiling at me. You saved the moment. Drinks offered at the bar also good. Construction ongoing for new establishments. Floating bar not available when we visited. Overall good and would recommend to friends and family. We

Stunning clear water beach resort with white sand! Easy to access with 15 minute boat ride. Boat ride is safe as there were coast guards checking boat passengers are wearing life jackets. The resort is clean. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Price is affordable. Hope in the future they will install shower rooms in other areas near cottages by the beach. Overall we had fun!

The beach on the other side of the resort was very dirty littered with all sorts of plastic. I can smell the aroma of feces in the middle part of the resort. The restaurant only have two menu items for lunch and dinner: pork adobo and pork steak. I was able to order scrambled eggs for lunch. The resort in general is littered with plastic bottles, napkins, empty beer bottles and empty coconut husks. Six staff sitting at the bar staring at their cell phones, two staff actively working.

Pristine beach, price is good, food is okay too. Boat especially on weekdays took longer to depart; it would wait to have at least 20 guests to it to depart; guest have an option to add extra Php1500 to take special trip that would depart immediately.

The fare for boat transfer to the island is SUPER SUPER SUPER OVER PRICED max of 25 pax per trip 750/head but if below 25 pax you need to add 1,500/head WHATTT??? 2,250/head fare just for a 15-20 minutes (small)boat ride(you cannot consume 20 litters of gasoline even for a round trip). The rest of the experience is worst ever like the: service, rooms, staff, food, floating bar, wifi, full of garbage everywhere, shower water etc..not worth it for the price. Obviously, this Lakawon island is not properly regulated by the LGU's. Not reccomended. The place/beach is good IF PROPERLY MANAGE AND MAINTAIN AND REGULATED BY LGU.

Lakawon, also called Llacaon, is a 16-hectare, banana-shaped island off the coast of Cadiz in the northern portion of Negros Occidental, a province in the Negros Island Region of the Philippines. It is the home of TawHai, the biggest floating bar in Asia. Here at Lakawon, an air of tranquility is adorned with shady coconut trees, and there is no better spot to watch the gentle waves far from the noise and congestion of the modern world. The distinctive atmosphere is evident throughout the resort, from the warm and welcoming staff to the woven roofs of each cottage.

Beautiful white sand beach resort with great ocean! A 15-minute boat ride gets you there. The boat voyage is safe since coast guards are ensuring that passengers are wearing life jackets. The resort is spotless. The bathrooms and showers are spotless. The cost is reasonable. I hope that in the future, shower facilities will be installed in other regions near cottages along the shore. Overall, we had a good time!

A friend of mine invited me to go on a vacation with some of our close friends and decided to try this resort. It was indeed a long ride but because of my friends it was a great and worth it journey!! The island is small but has an amazing view, the sunsets there are to die for!! The people there are nice and above all the food is great! Overall, our experience is 10/10. I recommend this to those who want to experience an intimate and refreshing vacation.
