Clean, quiet and well-maintained rooms. Nice toilet & bath with good water pressure. Rates are affordable. Parking can be a problem though.

Location is perfect, near the port and in city center. Plenty of rooms at affordable price pero giatay a baby centipede came out of the shower drain when I started to shower and I nearly stepped on it. Stayed here a couple of times, some rooms are mouldy and stuffy.

Great location but hard to get a hold of. Called for days with no one answering, emailed them for four days and no response, sent them messages on FB and they would read it and not respond, same with Instagram. After day 5 they answered and I booked a room. They could be full at all times with proper management.

The Palau Hotel is a very comfortable place to stay for a vacation with your family. The staff there are very professional, polite and welcoming! This hotel is very, very clean. They also have a place to dine-in right inside the hotel. Which serves, breakfast, lunch and dinner for very low cost! The tricycle's will take you anywhere that you may need to go, for twenty pesos only!! Feel free to tip them and the house keepers 50-100 pesos 🙌👍👌

We visit San Carlos during the holidays and spend three days at the Palau hotel. The hotel room is pretty solid for its price. Everything is available for comfort. A hot shower, a small fridge, a blower, a great wide window, cable flat screen television, and a spacious King size bed. Although, it matters what type of room you checked in.

Friendly front desk staff. Pillow too soft. Bed too soft. Blanket too thin. Nice comfort room. Soap and conditioner provided. But i was expecting provision of toothpaste and toothbrush as well. There was none. Complimentary water wasnt provided in the room. Guests had to claim at the front desk. But my room was clean and spacious. Still i couldnt sleep well.

Every morning my parents have breakfast in this lovely place. Let me tell you not only is their hotel one of the cleanest hotels I have been too, but their quaint, lovely restaurant has one of the best dishes that I've ever tasted in my life. Make sure to get their Ralph's burger, or Bam-i, or Honey Garlic chicken wings when you drop by. DELICIOUS (at such affordable price).

We have stayed at this hotel three times now when we have visited our relatives in San Carlos, but I never remember to snap pictures because I head straight to bed. The reason I adore their bed the most is that it is incredibly comfortable, serene, and relaxing, like something out of a five-star hotel. 🍾

I loved this hotel. Clean and quiet, yet a block from the town’s main square. Friendly staff and great restaurant w solid western food next door. To me, the negative reviews are unfair. I’d recommend staying here

They only accept cash payment when we stayed there. But the hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious too.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO RELAX: 1. There's a bar across the street that is not soundproof and you can hear it even in the 4th floor of the hotel. 2. Room water heater for coffee is filthy. 3. The management is not so responsive online and thru text. There are other hotels with affordable price and much more comfortable to relax.

The rooms are good and the staffs are kind. but the room necessities and toiletries weren’t properly clean and dirty!! - the thermos still had coffee from the previous user and wasn’t cleaned and sterilized from the staff - their towels still had food and had a lipstick stain - their beddings were ripped and the side of their bed was VERY dusty - their tissue was very dirty and had stains (didn’t have pic because we threw it away)

😐 The lady receptionist is so warm and friendly. The room is clean to its standard. Minus factor is their policy of charging P10 to access to their wifi, even if you're a hotel guest. Only in San Carlos?
