I
brought
my
2
kids
here
for
a
mini
vacation
for
Spring
Break.
I
read
a
few
reviews
before
deciding
between
visiting
Clovis
or
staying
in
Lubbock.
We
visited
on
Saint
Patrick’s
Day.
The
admission
is
inexpensive.
Located
in
a
park.
This
place
isn’t
bad,
but
it
definitely
needs
some
TLC
and
updates.
It
isn’t
big,
but
isn’t
small.
Perfect
weather.
My
favorite
animals
to
see
were
the
giraffes!
We
got
to
see
them
drink
and
eat.
There
are
many
benches,
and
places
to
sit
to
watch
the
animals
or
enjoy
a
picnic
for
lunch!
Lots
of
shade.
Very
convenient
and
much
appreciated.
My
son
really
enjoyed
the
reptiles!
They
had
their
own
area.
Since
it
wasn’t
at
all
busy
or
crowded,
we
took
our
time
and
stayed
for
about
2
hours.
It
was
very
nice
to
not
feel
rushed.
Some
of
the
animals
were
sleeping,
but
we
came
back
around
and
were
able
to
see
some
of
them
wake.
You
do
feel
a
bit
sad
for
these
animals,
but
they
didn’t
look
or
seem
to
be
mistreated.
In
fact,
when
you
purchase
something
from
the
gift
shop,
the
money
goes
towards
expanding
tiger’s
area
and
I’m
sure
other
updates
to
the
zoo!
I
highly
recommend
purchasing
something
to
help
out
or
donating!
Gift
shop
had
decently
priced
snacks
and
souvenirs.
My
daughter
picked
a
monkey
from
there,
and
has
slept
with
it
every
night
since
our
visit.
Bathrooms
very
clean!
The
lady
who
work
in
the
gift
shop
was
very
kind
and
informative.
My
kids
loved
the
visit.
Overall,
we
had
a
nice
experience
and
will
be
back.
