Absolutely loved this zoo. The staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile. We purchased the Lemur, Capybara, and Kangaroo Encounters, and Trey was our Encounter Guide. He did a fantastic job with the animals, provided information on each of the animals and made the experience incredible. I will cherish these memories for a long time. The zoo was clean, shady in areas, and the animal encampments were clean. Enjoyed the petting area where you may feed a 4 year old giraffe. The Budgie encounter was so much fun, they climbed and chewed on your shoes. Highly recommend for any age.

Made a day trip to Panama City and wanted to see alot while I was there. I love zoos and had a great time. Picked the coldest day in Florida to go but the animals were out and moving (except for the gators). I really enjoyed all the rabbits. So cute!! The petting zoo was fun. Highly recommend a trip to see them if you need a break from the beach. Staff was excellent!! Kudos to all staff members.

We had an amazing and wonderful time at ZooWorld. We did the Lemur experience. Our zoo keeper, Whitney, was great. We had such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. We interacted with the animals, we fed them and bonded with them. Animals were happy and enclosures were super clean. They are doing such an amazing job caring for these beautiful animals. We had a blast and we highly recommend everyone to go visit ZooWorld. Next time we are in town we will definitely go back. Thank you ZooWorld for the wonderful memories.

Absolutely great place. It's got an awesome mix of interactivity and openness. It seems to be in such a weird location but they make it work and was my favorite part of the week long vacation in Panama. Kangaroo experience was absolutely awesome. Would have loved to do the fox experience but wasn't in season and available. Could get up close to quite a few animals and they do a good job keeping it shaded on your walk. Highly recommend.

Memberships went on sale for new years and definitely bought all of us one. Absolutely love going, there's a bird cage you can get inside and they land on you while you feed them. The bunnies love to be pet on and it's cool watching the alligators eat. The petting yard is a must ❤️

My family visited here for the first time this summer and had to stop by the zoo! It was very intimate and we were closer to the animals than expected! We loved getting to feed the gators and the lion exhibit was awesome. The gift shop has really cool art and great gifts/souvenir items! Highly recommend for a fun day that’s not centered around the beach!

Great zoo experience! Parking is nearby and free…something that you will not get at every zoo. Staff was friendly and helpful. Paid extra for my child to feed a giraffe lettuce. Wonderful experience. Lots of different animals to see. Not a huge place so you can easily and comfortably see every animal. More personal experience. Loved it. Affordable. Highly recommend.

I thought it was going to be a tourist trap, it was cold out and decided to try it. While it seemed pricey on the animal encounter pricing, all was worth it. We met a baby kangaroo and my girlfriend had a blast with the Lemurs. Petting area was cool, animals look well fed and taken care of, nice time

The zoo is small but it's so kid friendly and cozy . The staff is so helpful and it's very interactive. They have several parts where you can feed the animals. Including feeding alligator's, birds and different farm animals.

This zoo is perfect for adults and kids! We had a group of 7 ages 3 to 36 and we all enjoyed ourselves. With such a large group we did not pay for the extra encounters. But we did buy food for the birds, alligators, rabbits, and giraffe. The petting had lots of goats with a few baby ones, a miniature horse, one donkey, and a few deer. The biggest hit was the birds. I could barely get my husband out of the cage! 🤣 We all had a blast! We also got to witness a baby porcupine being born!

This was one of the most precious zoos I've ever been to! They have so many animal encounters that are both informative and enjoyable. You can tell their animals are all well taken care of and happy. We booked the kangaroo experience, and it was so adorable. Someone at the front accidentally overbooked our time-slot, so we didn’t get the complete one on one experience we hoped for. But my son got his and that’s all that matters! The petting zoo is literally the best. All the animals are so gentle and hilarious. I wish this was closer to me so we could go all the time!

This place was wonderful!! 3rd time in Florida and I refused to leave without holding an alligator. This faculty not only offered a fantastic gator experience but also offered a wide variety of other educational animal experiences. The animals are clearly well treated and the staff were incredible. My family was lucky enough to experience this park on a slow day and as a result had some quality time with some other beautiful animals as well. The husband got to meet their sloths, I had the pleasure of meeting and holding a beautiful baby Capybara and we all (including my son) were able to hold one of their feisty alligator girls. Great prices for the encounter all the way around. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Took my 3 year old for her birthday and we all had a blast! We did the kangaroo meet and greet and it was so much fun. Our zookeeper was also SO friendly! (Dark hair and light skinned female who was newer) wish I remembered her name! Apart from that the zoo is on the smaller side but that’s perfect for a toddler with a small attention span. You can also tell they take care of their animals well, they all looked so loved and had fun personalities. I would love to go back!

We LOVED this zoo. What it lacks in size it makes up for in interaction! I 100% recommend buying the feed buckets ! They have the biggest petting zoo I've ever seen! It was so much fun & educational! The staff were all super helpful when asked questions & when I alerted them a kid was snatching up parakeets in the aviary. We learned that all animals are fed 2 times a day not including all the feed they are given by everyone. We had so much fun . I don't understand how people only spend 30 minutes here. We were there 5 hours and didn't even know it !

We have gone here several times over the years, but this year was phenomenal! They have made several upgrades since our last visit and the kids had a blast! We saw tons of different animal and they fed a giraffe, deer, a cow, goats, birds and more. The bird exhibit was awesome, they actually came to us and ate off our sticks, we hadn't had much luck with them in previous years. This was our favorite visit yet!

What an awesome little zoo. They make use of every inch. You get so close to the animals. There are several viewing areas for most animals. Their landscaping is fantastic. You can pay extra for special encounters. This was our first trip here so we just enjoyed the zoo. The staff is so friendly and outgoing. The kids area was neat with some goats and kids walking free. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will be back. Well worth the time to visit here.

I had a very nice day walking around visiting the exhibits with my friend, her grandchildren and my granddaughter. The walkways were clean and unobstructed for the traffic, although I did find a few areas tight for the size stroller I used. In one area i had to be careful not to veer off the walkway due to the cement edge a few inches higher off the ground. The staff were all very outgoing and helpful, which made the visit even more enjoyable!

ZooWorld is awesome! It's not a very big park, but you can interact and feed many animals. The bird feeding was amazing! Some animals roam around the park...baby goats tried to go in the bathroom with me 🤣 we had so much fun❣

We love coming here. We had a party of 12 and got $1 off regular ticket price. Was well worth the money seeing all the animals and the family have such a good time. We highly recommend going to check this place out. It is a lot of fun for the whole family.

Hey there, just had to share my fantastic experience with ZooWorld Zoological Park in Panama City Beach, FL. So, for Christmas, we scored these yearly membership passes, and I've got to say, we're absolutely hooked! Escaping the daily chaos and spending quality time observing the incredible array of animals is such a refreshing break. From majestic lions and tigers to the intriguing hyenas and towering giraffes like Tony, ZooWorld has it all. And can we talk about the petting zoo? Loads of adorable farm animals to interact with - it's a blast for everyone. Now, here's the real deal-maker – the animal encounters. Picture this: getting up close and personal with certain animals, even feeding them! Yep, we've had some incredible moments feeding the gators and sharing a meal with Tony the Giraffe. It adds a whole new level of excitement to the visit. Sure, some enclosures could be a tad roomier, but you can tell the folks at ZooWorld are genuinely doing their best and providing top-notch care for all the animals. It's spick and span every time we visit. Now, personal faves? Definitely the big cats, the impressive gators, those mischievous hyenas, and of course, Tony the Giraffe steals the show. It's become a go-to spot for quality family time, and I can't get enough. Living practically in the zoo's backyard is a bonus, but even if you're not neighbors, grabbing those annual passes is a game-changer. If you're an animal lover, ZooWorld is where it's at! I'm even considering volunteering down the line, something I've enjoyed at other zoos in the past. Trust me, it's a gem worth exploring.

Great day outing for the family. Really great views of the animals and feeding opportunities. Lots of animals in the petting zoo. The birds land on you to feed. It was clean and the staff was very nice. Well worth the price and bigger than it appears. My adult children had fun also!

We had SO MUCH FUN at ZooWorld! All of the animals were so friendly and loved all of the attention they got. I highly recommend getting the cup with feed, bird seed, and tickets to feed the giraffe! This place looks small but trust me, it is well worth every penny especially if you’re an animal lover like me. The bird aviary is awesome.. at one point I had 7/8 birds on me! 😂 All of the goats were so precious too. I loved feeding them! I will definitely be visiting again. ❤️

This was my second trip to PCB and first time trying ZooWorld. This place is very well kept and incredibly cute. The animals are well kept in this little conservatory. The staff are very nice and happy to answer questions. They shared with us on how they work with the Tampa Zoo and helped raise young. They also explained all of their work with conservation and animal rehab. It is a very family friendly place. You can buy snacks to feed most of the animals. For extra you can have a close experience with one of the animals. We paid to have the experience with a little Joey that was rejected from her mother that ZooWorld was helping to raise. I highly recommend this place as a great break from the beach.

This is a great zoo that has a more intimate feel than most zoos. It is bigger than it looks, and provides great experiences with different animals. The lemur experience was incredible and left me and my sons with forever memories. Worth a trip if your looking for something to do away from the beach for a couple of hours.

Very sweet and cute zoo. They have a nice range of animals and a lot of them you can pet. I really liked having the opportunity to pet the sloths and hold a baby kangaroo. My favorite parts other than the experiences were feeding the crocodiles and the farm area. All of the animals were sweet (except that sassy llama which I loved). The giraffe was really cute too. I also liked the gem mining bags. Those are definitely worth the money and I’d suggest getting the $25 bag because it comes with all the fossils like shark teeth. When I pet the sloth, Whitney was absolutely amazing. She was very positive and and informative about sloths. The zookeeper that helped us with the Kangaroo was also awesome as well. The staff were all really nice and I could tell that they really care about the animals and love what they do. I also thought it was cool that they have little 3D printing machines that make you souvenirs. We made a lion and a giraffe souvenir. I highly suggest getting those it you go.

We had a great time at Zoo World. They have a lot of animals and we could interact with them. It wasn’t too crowded so we were able to enjoy the exhibits at our own pace. They also have a great military discount.

Visited this park last week while staying at Emerald Coast RV Resort which is right next door. It is a lot bigger than we imagined. We purchased one of the feed everyone combos and then separately purchased a giraffe combo and budgie combo. My kids are 16 and 7 and had the best time feeding the goats, deer, cow, and birds. Our 7yo had his hopes on feeding the giraffes but there is only one giraffe. We bought 5 lettuce leaves in total and only got to feed him one leaf. Unfortunately the day we were there it seemed the giraffe was having an off day. We came back twice but the employees only managed to get him over to the feeding area once during the times we were over there. So, if we are able to go again I would wait until you are in that area to buy the lettuce to see if he is in fact near the fence. There is someone over in the petting zoo animal area that you can buy feed for the petting zoo animals if you didn’t buy the cup at the front and also lettuce for the giraffe. We asked about the animal experiences but I’m glad we didn’t do any because it seemed like a let down the way she was describing them at the front. We then saw someone doing the sloth and also the platform for the giraffe encounter and in the case of the giraffe it didn’t really get you much closer. The park is very clean and the bathrooms were as well. My only negative was there weren’t signs at all of the animals especially in the older areas identifying them. The newer areas had signs. We spent about 4 hours and both of my kids had a great time.

Visiting ZooWorld was the highlight of our trip to FL. We had some chilly/cloudy weather for most of our trip, and wanted to find things to do as a family outside of going to the beach. This was such a treat. The zoo is very clean, and well maintained. The staff of very friendly and helpful. The animals are in some of the best condition that I've ever seen. Very alert and active. Very healthy and notably cared for. I cannot recommend highly enough! Please take your family here. You won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our time at this zoo with a toddler. Almost all paths are handicap accessible. Two complimentary wheelchairs are available on a first come first served basis. Stroller rentals available. Many opportunities to interact with various animals. Exhibits were clean and most were spacious. The animals were in great condition and enrichment was available for them in many habitats. Highly recommend a visit!

This place was wonderful. As you enter the facility you cannot begin to image the depth of what they've accomplished. It is definitely worth the extra money to buy feeding sticks for the birds, and bring extra cash for drinks. The team is entirely friendly and they make sure you are smiling and having fun.

Beautiful place, I thought was smaller but I got surprised. No too big, great to bring the whole family. The monkeys are so funny and you can watch the animals from a close distance and take nice pictures. I'll bring my 12 years old next time. They have 20% military discount. 100% Recommend.

We highly recommend ZooWorld. We went the week after Memorial Day week. It was still hot and would recommend taking a handheld fan. Our (15 month at the time) loved it! We purchased a couple things of food for the animals and he enjoyed feeding them. The best part was the bird enclosure. He didn’t know what to think at first, but then loved them! He also enjoyed feeding the goats, deer, and Tony the giraffe. We will definitely visit every trip while visiting family. He also saw sloths, porcupines, lions, and many more. Well worth the visit!

An excellent zoo to spend time with the children, even if you’re there for the beach quest. The lions are located on the same area with the hyenas, but they don’t let them come out at the same time of course, so that means you can either admire the lions or the hyenas but not both at the same time. Take some coins (quarters) with you to purchase additional alligator food from the dispensers. Have fun!

Went for the first time. It was a great experience. I highly recommend getting the memberships when they go on sale. Was not overly busy and lots of animals were on display and pretty active in the morning time. Our favorite's of the zoo was feeding the Giraffes and birds with the budgie sticks. During this time the Alligator feed was out, so we did not get to experience it, but since we have a membership we will surely be back for that. Zoo is a little small, but It allows you to not get overwhelmed with to many twists and turns you would have at a bigger zoo. They have a cute little Photo Booth to take pics (this is a tradition of our little family when we visit zoos). Recommend visiting if you are just stopping through to visit or go ahead and purchase that membership if you are local and have kids great place to take them.

This is a small park within the city limits. There were a variety of animals, but I would call it more of a petting zoo than a zoological Park. The cost to enter was not too bad. However, there are additional charges if you want to have any animal encounters or feed the animals. It didn't take too long to walk through the park. It would be an easy place to push a stroller. Most of the places appear to be accessible by wheelchair as well. It was kind of a cool day so the animals were not that active. Overall we had a good experience.

We spent hours here and enjoyed every minute! We did the lemur experience, and WOW! Grace was amazing and full of knowledge, you could really see her love for not only the lemurs but all the animals! Yes it was hot, but there was lots of shade and misting fans to help cool off. Definitely recommend this!!

This is such a wonderful little zoo! We have visited 3x over the past couple of years. They have some really cool animals that seem well taken care of. The staff is friendly and the grounds are well kept. It was very hot the day we went but even with the heat, we had a great time. We purchased the animal food options and feeding the sweet barnyard animals, giraffe and gators was really cool. This Zoo should definitely be on your list of places to visit in PCB. We will be back!

Lots of interactive things to do. Able to feed the giraffe, goats, and alligators. Very well kept and clean throughout the walkways from exhibit to exhibit. My family and I came to Panama City Beach with little more than a week's warning because my husband had a business trip. I am so glad we chose to come to this zoo! The biggest thing that attracted us was the lemur encounter. I have always wanted to pet lemurs, so it was a no-brainer! My husband had to wait outside and watch with my two-year-olds (they were too young), so I was able to go in by myself. The zookeepers in there with me were incredibly friendly and one even took my phone and took pictures of me with the lemurs since my husband could not. We loved the overall facility! There were several other encounters including a sloth, alligator feeding, budgie (parakeet) feeding and giraffe feeding (I'm sure I'm missing something). It is a fairly small facility, but it worked great with us for our toddlers. They loved the animals, especially the free-roaming goats. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely go back!

This place is wonderful for anyone who loves animals. If you wait for annual pass promotions, usually around the holidays, you can get exceptional deals. Bring your kids or just yourselves and take a leisurely walk through the park, interact with the animals, and take in how well themed it all is, including lots of interesting things to see and read that will help you understand the animals better. Totally worth a visit or 40. ;)

I almost don't know where to start with this place. Talk about something special! We've passed by it for years without stopping. My little girl got a bit too much sun and we decided to do things in the shade. This is one of the nicest places we've been to anywhere. You can tell the place has high regarding the animals, as well as being a very affordable place for families. I don't care if you're a young person here on spring break, a family or something in between like me and my daughter. Go here! Enjoy yourself!

The zoo was good but I feel that the alligator exhibit is a huge waste of space. Not very exciting not much to look at meanwhile you have tigers and bears pacing in circles in very small enclosures. Get rid of the alligators and make bigger spaces for them.

In my opinion it was a bit pricey. We had a great time, however I wish we had a map and several exhibits we had to pick our 3 yrs old up to be able to see. Two adults and a 3 year old for entry and animal feed was $96

Soooo I loved it but not so much the bird exhibit, the birds definitely need a better source of water during the extreme heat waves, so many birds were gasping like hyperventilating I felt bad. The bird feeds to me was a bit pointless and more a money grab. Feeding the gators though were absolutely amazing we had probably 30+ coming to feed. Feeding the giraffe 🦒 was amazing and those baby goats.

Great place to take the kids or grandkids, Katie did a fantastic job with the Sloth Experience. Kids loved being able to feed and pet the goats. Walking is easy and the paths are stroller friendly.

Wasn’t very big but what they did have was awesome. I definitely loved my lemur experience!

This place is horrible!! The animals are not healthy or fed. Went with family. My daughter and my sister cried several times, because of the care of the animals. The Camel was in a stall all the time. The Lions were malnourished and you could see their rips, the Lions mane was noted all up. There was a poor Donkey that had a tumor on its neck that was massive. The Turtle had a round track that it circled in dirt, no leaves just dirt. There was an aviary that you could feed birds and bird food on a stick stuck on with super glue, there wasn't an attendant present. The ducks were on a concrete island. This place is horrible!!

My husband and I come every time we visit PCB and absolutely love it! The lemur encounter is always our absolute favorite, and it definitely did not disappoint this year. The lemurs were so sweet and friendly. We also did the capybara encounter this year, and it was great. They give you food to feed him, and he was so calm and friendly. There are many animals to see, and the staff are very knowledgeable about the animals. I cannot recommend this enough!

It was wonderful. The animals were happy and enclosures were clean. The staff was friendly. It's not huge, it was just well kept and cared for. Love the layout of the space.

We love Zoo World! We come here every time we are in PCB. It is small enough to not be overwhelming or exhausting but has lots of animals! There are so many opportunities to interact with the animals, which makes every trip extra special. We love feeding the alligators, birds, giraffes, and barn animals! The add on experiences to with interact with other special animals are also great!
