If you want to see some really amazing historic wrecks with a very safety conscious dive shop these guys are the one for you. They have lots of nice new clean equipment ready to rent if you don't have your own. Their boat is spacious with very competent crew that care of everything for you so you don't need to lift a finger and you get a tasty snack and drink during your surface interval which I noticed other dive shops don't give. During the dives the guides were really mindful of what we were doing and showing us the most interesting parts of the dive sites. I didn't take any courses but I saw the instructor doing an open water course and they were very thorough in their training and making sure the students really understood everything they needed to know. If you're going to Subic and you want to have a great experience this is the dive shop for you.

You know when you hear about these old fantasy stories about people finding genies or magical wizards, and so they make a wish and become whatever they want? Well it turns out if you're a diver, this place makes that wish actually true! The Arizona team are some of the most qualified divers in the region, offering courses that many other dives shops in the region simply aren't able to offer. Technical diver? Technical Instructor? Diver Equipment Specialist? MERMAID!? They can do it all! Excellent bunch of guys who know their stuff.

Very last minute decision to travel and very fast response from Shaun N who answered all my email questions. Gave me accommodation suggestions and set me up with a local driver for airport transfers. This dive center has all the equipments for rent, all look to be in good condition. Except they don’t have rigid fins and canister lights. So you hv to bring your own if you’re into those. Twinsets are available and He/O2 also can be arranged I believe. Did several fun dives to various wrecks and coral reef. My guide Jamie C was very familiar with all the sites and I felt he really listened to customers and tried his best also to buddy with me for a couple of practices on Twinset diving just off their beach. Fantastic people and good support from the local crew too. Hope to see them again in December.

Chose the beginning class - half day in the classroom and swimming pool and the other half of the day pick a 40 minute boat ride too two different dive sites. Sir Don dive master. I was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us all in the group. I never felt unsafe or in any danger. Cost was 6,000 pesos which I thought was a little expensive initially but after going through the entire day a training and diving I found 6k pesos out was one hellova a bargain. The staff were super friendly and professional in general. I couldn't imagine having a better experience learning how to dive.

Wreck diving spots are their specialty. We didn’t get to go in the wrecks and the visibility at the time wasn’t that good. At one point the boat also had a hard time starting and kept turning on and off but the whole crew was chill about it and we got back in one piece

Thank you Kent, James and the team at Arizona divers for a fantastic week's wreck diving. The 1:1 tuition I received for my enriched air certificate was first rate and greatly enhanced my wreck diving experience. Both James and Kent went the extra mile to ensure that I got the most out of my wreck dives and I was very impressed with their knowledge of the wreck history. For anybody planning a diving holiday in the Philippines I would strongly recommend a trip to Subic and Arizona dive shop. Do consider the dive package which is good value for money and includes a stay at the Arizona hotel and private transport to and from Subic. Thanks guys!

This dive shop is amazingly friendly! From the security guard to the guide masters and to the people around. I dove with Julian who was so friendly and accommodating! He was concerned about my safety on my first dive as I experienced anxiety and difficulty descending. He made sure I feel safe and comfortable in the water, again. Even underwater, he kept on checking on me. We talked a lot about my life in UK and his life living in Subic. Shaun and his wife were very accommodating too even if I did pay late in the afternoon. I highly recommend this dive shop. Totally safe and conservative master divers. I'm definitely coming back.

The Arizona Dive Shop has a wonderful beach front restaurant in addition to being a great dive school. The offers a mix of Filipino and American cuisine. We love this place!

The foreign instructors & divemasters here are dedicated & professional (particularly Shaun!)...but the level of communications between them & their Filipino shop staff is somewhat amateur... (and led to a needlessly-canceled day of highlight wreck dives).

I spent 10 days diving with the team from the Arizona Dive Shop in February of 2016. Gary, Kent, and Mike are patient and qualified instructors who are knowledgeable about the wrecks and other sites in Subic Bay. Their divemasters are likewise informed and safety-minded. While I have been diving in other places around Asia, this was my first time doing wreck penetrations and deep (below 30 meters) diving, and I appreciated the clarity and emphasis on skill-building that the team brought to all of my dives (not just the ones which were part of a course). While the guys had some helpful suggestions for what I might do to make my personal gear better suited to wreck and deep diving, I never felt pressured to buy only a specific brand or model of gear or to only buy said gear from them. While diving with the Arizona Dive Shop, I stayed at the Arizona Resort. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the resort itself was clean and safe, and the food and drink at the restaurant and bar were sensational. The airport pickup/drop-off offered through the Arizona went seamlessly and made getting to and from the resort very convenient. If you are planning to come to Subic Bay specifically or simply want a friendly, stress-free introduction to diving in the Philippines, I highly recommend the Arizona Dive Shop.

I visited Arizona Dive Shop in Subic Bay about 3 weeks ago. The staff there were quite knowledgable and took care of me and my family very well. They have a very unique shop and setup you must see. I can't wait to come back and dive on their new boat they were preparing right before I left. Gary, Kent, Mike and the staff tailored all the diving around my needs and I had other things scheduled to do in the area. All of the diving equipment appeared to be brand new APEKS and Aqua Lung or in new condition and the wreck diving was incredible. This is the best dive shop in Subic Bay hands down. Do yourself a favor, if you go to Subic Bay and you like to dive, make sure you go to the best dive shop around, Arizona Dive Shop. This shop gives you hot towels after the dive, hot snacks and cold drinks during your surface interval for FREE with your dive. I rented their dive gear as I don't like to travel with mine sometimes and I forgot my dive computer. The dive computer is included in the dive price as well. Thanks for the wonderful experience, see you guys in 6 months ...hopefully!

In January of 2016 I made 11 dives over 5 days with Arizona Dive Shop. Kent and Gary, the owners, are very knowledgeable of the wrecks and the local history of Subic Bay. The dive boat is very well designed to accommodate many divers. I commend Gary and Kenton the staff they have hired. Their staff is excellent and are all well attentive to the divers on board. Captain Jesse was always right there to correct any equipment errors that the divers might have. The crew went above and beyond with ensuring we were comfortable throughout the dives. At the time I dove with Arizona Dive Shop, they offered package deals that included round trip transportation from the airport, lodging at Arizona Resort as well as a specified amount of pesos to spend in the resort dining area. The entire process worked seamlessly and for a person not familiar with the area of Subic Bay this package made it an easy way to dive travel. I would highly recommend Arizona Dive Shop to anybody diving in the Subic area and I will definitely dive with Arizona Dive Shop again. Thanks for such great diving! Allison Dean

A big thanks to Kent, Gary and all the staff at Arizona Dive Shop for the 5 star service you provided my friends and myself on our recent trip to Subic Bay. We really enjoyed the diving and also appreciated the time the dive masters took with us to prepare for our first dive as we are all quite inexperienced. The staff loaded all the equipment on the dive boat, changed our tanks, helped us put our kit on and best of all washed and dried all our kit at the end of each day of diving. They actually opened the shop at 6am on the last day so we could pick up all our dry kit before we caught our taxi so we didn’t have to travel with wet dive gear! At the end of each dive we received hot snacks, drinks and a hot towel!!! Highly recommended, we’ll be back!!!
